what if blood was blue? Would it look scary?

Seen that as a patch for some video games. it just looks silly.
Does remind me that insects don't have red blood though - it's usually green or yellow.

You would react to it in exactly same way you do to red now. (if you mean that blood would have always been blue)
Come to think of it though - Veinous blood DOES appear blue, because it has exhausted it's oxygen (it isn't; its still red, just not AS red as fully oxygenated blood)
