  1. "Aw nothing. Just avoiding being killed by extremely fast objects barreling through the clouds." Moon Beam said, flashing him a grin. She loved seeing him happy, which she had realized would be a rarity considering the cold attitude he gave almost verypony. However, that just made making him smile even more special to her. Suddenly, she got an idea. Smirking at Steel, she flew closer to his side as they gradually got higher. She moved in front of him and turned so that they were face to face. "Follow my lead. Do everything that I do. You have to trust me. And dont worry, it'll be fun." She said. Moon Beam put her hooves on his so that each hoof was flat against the other. She smiled at him softly then pushed his hooves, causing him to tilt backwards as she tilted forward with him. Soon, they were upside down, flying back toward the ground together. Moon giggled, and closed her eyes and her wings, letting herself fall. A smile slowly crept onto her face as the wind whipped through her mane.
  2. "What am I doing here?" Moon Beam asked herself, trying to remember why she ventured here. "Oh, uh, just looking for the comfort of a familiar place in such a terrible one." She said, smiling at him. She couldn't help but look at him, studying him up and down. It had been forever it seemed. She wanted to know if anything had changed on him. Any new scars or scratches or bruises... or signed of infection. She hoped with all her heart that he wasnt infected. "As for forgetting anything, I dont think so. I mean, not that I know of, you know?" Moon Beam walked over to wall closest to her as she spoke, studying some words that had been scribbled on the wall years before. "I mean, its not like you forgot me or anything. How long has it been now, Star? Heh, I wouldn't know..." She said as she reached up and touched the words with her hoof. She stared at them for a long time before speaking again. "I thought I meant something to you." she snapped, standing up and looking at him, now with anger and sorrow in her eyes. "I thought you wouldn't have left. Everypony left, and I had hope that you wouldn't! But you did! And I almost hate you for that.." Her head dropped to look at the floor, and a tear drop ran down her cheek. Best friends forever. I'll be there for you, and you never leave me." She said, quoting the words on the wall. Suddenly, she broke down, sitting on the cold, hard floor, tears rolling from the corners of her eyes and down her face.
  3. Moon Beam felt Steel's wing around her and inched closer to him. Senia sat close to her, still touching her wing with her hoof. She didnt take her eyes off of Steel, not able to trust him at the moment. After the pain he put Moon through, it would be hard to. However, since she was better now that he was here, she couldnt do anything. Moon Beam's mind was racing with different thoughts and worries and anxiety. She didn't know what to do, but not being able to see or hear, it made her nervousness worse, causing her to think even more. Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind that pushed everything else aside. She knew that Senia was thinking about the same thing, as she had applied pressure to Moon Beam's side out of surprise. "Astrid.." Moon Beam said weakly. Senia looked at her, eyes wide. "Astrid!" She now yelled, squirming to get up. Senia tried to stop her but she was standing, and soon running, before anypony could do anything. She jumped and lifted into the air, using her sense of smell, which was her strongest sense after touch at the moment, to navigate her way back to the filly. Since Senia couldn't stop Moon, she decided to join her. She quickly caught up, helping her fly back to where the filly hopefully still waited for them. Soon, Astrid was in sight, and Senia helped Moon Beam fly to her. They landed a few feet from the circle of flowers, and walked toward it. As they neared Astrid, Moon could feel her senses coming back as she heard the grass beneath her. She opened her eyes, and could alnost see the green landscape around her. She smiled as the small filly came into view, and prepared to gov her what they had promised.
  4. The three each stood on a cloud, watching the pony as he flew. Moon Beam watched with great intensity, studying the pony. Soon, she realized that it was a stallion who seemed to have a lot of experience flying in difficult situations due to his skills. "He is flying quite fast. And well I might add. Must have trained, or was a gaurd. Could be anything honestly, hes just so strategic in his flight patterns. Is he a Wonderbolt? No, they dont have them in this place..." Moon thought aloud. Both Lune and Violette looked at her briefly, then at each other, both with looks of confusion on their face. However, they decided not to question her, and went back to watching the stallion and listening to Moon, trying to figure out what exactly she was talking about. Suddenly, Moon Beam realized something about the stallion. At first glance, you wouldn't have noticed his lack of a horn. But as Moon watch's him carefully, taking every detail of him and his flight patterns, she noticed he was missing a horn, meaning he was simply a pegasus, not an alicorn. Knowing that Steel, Astrid, and herself were the only non-alicorns to step foot in this land, she had a feeling she knew exactly who it was. "Thats Steel!" She shouted, then hopped off of her cloud and nose dived towards the ground, propelling herself to go faster with her wings. Gradually, she gained speed, and as she neared the ground, she quickly banked d leveled out, flying sideways. She turned to fly straight, then flapped her wings hard and shot upright. She saw Steel flying towards her, and spun slightly so that she flew straight past him. "Hey, Steel!" She yelled as she passed him.
  5. Moon Beam was flying ahead of the alicorns, winning a race they had engaged in about a minute ago. She was smiling, wildly impressed with herself for flying faster than an alicorn. Suddenly, a figure came down through the clouds, causing Moon Beam to stop abruptly. She flew back a few feet due to the wind the figure had caused. Whoever or whatever it was had been flying extremely fast. The two alicorn slowly came to a stop next to Moon Beam. "What happened? Why'd you stop?" Violette asked. "I dont know. Something flew straight down in front of me." Moon Beam answered as she flew down through the clouds. Violette and Lune followed her. "Lucky it didn't hit you." Lune said, flying faster to catch up to Moon. "How fast was it going?" "Pretty fast. From the looks of it, if I had been only inches farther, I could've been seriously injured, or possibly even killed. However, thats not the case. Im fine. I just want to find out who or what that thing was." Moon replied as they emerged from the clouds. As soon as they were out, Moon Beam saw the figure, still flying at extreme speeds. She decided to watch, and possibly follow, the figure that now seemed to be a pony.
  6. Moon Beam was, in the technical sense, unconscious, barely aware of what was happening around her. Her eyes were closed, but tears rolled from the corners of her eyes unmercifuly, making the pain she still felt in her chest clear. She could still hear faint sounds and voices, only being able to decipher one, which was Senia's. Making an attempt to move closer to her, to comfort her and assure her that she is alright, her wing twitched, causing Senia to jump slightly. "Moon Beam? Can you hear me?" Senia asked frantically, looking at her intensely with wide eyes. Moon Beam, in response, stainless her wing twitch. Relieved and overwhelmed with happiness, Senia started laughing, gathering Moon Beam into a hug. "Im so happy you are.. at least mostly okay." She said, giggling. Suddenly, she heard someone coming from the forest, and turned her head with to see Steel emerging from the brush. As he quickly neared her and Moon Beam, Senia began to growl deeply. She stared at him, studying him, watching his every move. Moon Beam however, when she felt him nuzzle her, she left out an almost silent whimper. She had known that he was coming back when the pain in her chest began to melt away, and a strong feeling of hope filled her. She slowly moved her hoof to try and find him, only to become nervous when she didnt come into contact with anything. Not able to open her eyes, she couldn't completely tell what was going on around her, and didnt know where anypony was but Senia, who was still clinging to her protectively. Moon Beam became visibly anxious, now able to sort of flail her hoof around, pushing dirt and grass in every direction. She let out another whimper, except this time it was louder. With most of her senses either gone or weakened immensely, her thoughts were going wild.
  7. Moon Beam, Violette and Lune were high in the clouds, the only thing they could see being their white fluffiness. Laughing, smiles wide, each of them took turns kicking clouds or flying above them or skimming their tops with their hooves or wings. Moon Beam was laughing, smiling, talking to the two alicorns the entire time, seemingly happy. However, her mind was a storm of thoughts and worry. She kept thinking about Steel and wondering if he liked her or not, what he thought of her so far. She continuously was trying to push these thoughts aside, labeling them as stupid and childish. However, he always found a way to stay on her mind, and she didnt completely mind.
  8. Slowly, Senia pulled her head away from Grell's neck and turned her head. She hadn't let go of him yet, and her eyes were still closed. She began opening her eyes gradually, afraid. However, once she realized that they were back on earth and the screaming was gone, she sighed and let go of Grell. She turned around fully to see Moon Beam and Steel, who didnt look like the normal Steel. Moon Beam watched Steel, surprised and confused. Her heart started beating faster, and she could feel it shake her entire body. She stared at him, the mist leaving her eyes quickly. The farther he got from her, the more she shook. Soon, pain followed as the shaking intensified. She wondered if Senia and Grell, who she hadn't seen but knew they were there, could see her shaking. Moon Beam couldnt take her eyes off of the spot where Steel walked off into the forest. Even though the pain in her chest and the shaking increased by the second, she couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't think. "Moon? H-hey.. Moon Beam? Are..Are you okay?" Senia said, taking a few slow steps toward her. Moon Beam simply stood there, staring intensely into the forest, her stare seemingly unbreakable. "Moon Beam, what happened?" Senia tried to get an answer from her again, but to no avail. She began to walk to Moon Beam, making sure she wasn't walking too fast as not to upset her. Moon Beam groaned, closing her eyes and putting her head down. Senia stopped walking for a moment, looking at Moon Bean with confusion and worry. "Moonie?" She asked quietly. Suddenly, Moon Beam screamed, throwing her head back and opening her wings quickly, viciously. Senia was taken aback, stopping completely. Her eyes were wide, and she couldn't seem to speak no matter how much she wants to. Moon Beam then shuddered, which was more violent than her shaking, and collapsed. The wing under her was stretched upwards, the other pointing down. Her fur and mane had seemed to dull, not looking as bright as they usually do. "Moon Beam!" Senia yelled, running up to her. She fell to the ground begin her, putting her hoof on the wing that was lay in on her side. "Come on, Moonie, come on.." Senia said as she desperately tried to find Moon Beam's pulse. She wasn't shaking anymore, and it didnt look like she was breathing either. Finally, Senia found a spot where she could feel a light, steady thumping. Sighing in relief, she put her head on Moon Beam's side. "If only she could tell me what's happening... because I dont have a clue. She usually knows what all this stuff means, and im pretty sure she knew what was going to happen before it did." Senia said slowly, forming each word with caution, awareness of every letter in each word. A single tear formed in the corner of her eye, falling quickly down her cheek and into Moon Beam's fur. Soon, there was a full stream of silent tears, not making themselves or their existence known to anypony but Senia. Quietly and simply, she layed there in Moon Beam's now tear stained fur, wondering what would happen next.
  9. Star Catcher listened to Dark Star as he spoke, a little surprised at what he told her. However, when he was finished, she simply smiled. She walked over to where he sat on the stairs. Bending down, she put her hoof under his chin and made him look at her. "Dark Star, I don't care about your bad past, or if your a wanted criminal, or what anypony else thinks of you. You can't be that bad of a stallion. I mean, you seem pretty okay from what I've seen. And I would absolutely love to dance with you." Star said, then walked past him onto the stairs and looked back. "Come on, let's go dance. And, don't worry about anypony else. I mean, they're all fancy-pantsy snobs anyway, so who cares what they think? They look down on anypony who isn't filthy rich and snobby, just like them." She said, trying to be louder as she reached the bottom of the stairs where a group of ponies stood, a smug look printed on her face. She turned to look at Dark Star, smiling confidently. She wondered what he was thinking, since he had just told her that he was wanted, and she didn't run in fear. Instead, she tried to cheer him up and agreed to dance with him.
  10. Moon Beam opened her eyes, and opened her wings almost immediately after. She was jolted upwards quickly, but it didn't seem to phase her. She simply flapped her wings a few times to propel herself forward a little, then slowly glided down towards the dull street below her. Once her hooves hit the ground, she began walking. She looked around quickly, constantly staying vigilant and watching for guards. Moon had no intention of being caught by ' one of those stupid plot holes', as she called them. Suddenly, just as she was about to turn a corner, she heard something. It sounded like a metal object being... dragged? She couldn't tell exactly what it was our how it was making the noise it was making, but she wasn't going to stick around to find out. Quickly, she flapped get wings and flew to the nearest rooftop. As soon as she landed, she laid down flat, trying her best not to be seen. A little terrified, she shuffled towards the part of the roof that was farthest from the sound. She hoped she wasn't making any noise. Soon, she was at the other end, and she finally stood up. She let out a sigh of relief, and smiled. "The gardens." She said, remembering her favorite place to be in this stupid city. Moon beat her wings once, with great force, and was in high in the air. She began flying to ' the gardens', a place somepony showed her a long time ago. It didn't take long for the gardens to come into view, and she was soon at the back of the building. She crouched down, crawling into get secret entrance. When she got inside, she heard something moving, and she froze. Slowly, she turned her head, trying to find the source of the sound. Finally, she found it. "Dark Star?" She asked, surprised he still hung out at the gardens.
  11. Moon Beam heard Hank's comment before she got too far away, and turned toward him quickly. She glared at him, her eyes receiving a tint of red due to her sudden anger. "And why don't you just try to not be so up tight with your high- and- mighty-ness!" She snapped, yelling loud enough for anypony in the area to hear her. "You aren't better than anypony else, and you sure dont have the right to tell ponies how to live their life and talk about how supposedly 'evil' they are! I'm not sure if you know this, but you aren't perfect. And also, you don't really have much right to tell anypony to do anything, because last I checked, you weren't an alicorn anymore. So why don't you think twice the next time you want to tell somepony how to live their life, huh?" Moon Beam stared at Hank for a while, the redness in her eyes, which had intensified while she was telling at him, started to fade away. She turned towards Lune and Violette, sighed, and began flying away before Hank could reply. She was slightly upset with herself for bursting the way she had, but was also glad she got it off her chest. "I'm sorry you had to see that. Just, my anger gets the best of me sometimes, and its not pretty." Moon said to the alicorns. "That's alright. I mean, I'm just grateful it wasn't towards us." Violette said, chuckling a bit. "And, I'm sorry for earlier. I didn't mean to say everything that I did, I've just, never seen anypony like you, or Steel. I'm not exactly used to it." Lune said. Moon Beam turned her head to look at him and smiled. "It's all good, Lune. No hard feelings." She said, then banked quickly and flew upwards. "Time to touch the clouds." She said, quoting her father.
  12. Moon Beam peered out of her door, looking down at the Earth below. All there was to see was a city, run down, broken, mostly uninhabited. Most of the population living there was either infected, or in serious hiding. So, there wasn't much to see other than the most likely abandoned buildings that lined the dark and gloomy streets. Inhaling deeply through her nose, she turned around and grabbed a piece of cloth off of a small table near the door. Moon Beam pressed it to her mouth, then wrapped it around the back of her head, tying it securely. She turned and grabbed an emerald green bandana with a picture of her cutie mark on it, and tied it to the base of her wing. Moon stepped to the edge of her doorway, looking up into the gray sky. Suddenly, she jumped down, letting herself fall, eyes closed and winds folded her sides. She sighed, knowing that what she would have to deal with next would most likely not be very pretty.
  13. "Alright! Why don't you two just shut up?! I'm done hearing the back and forth with this stupid situation." Moon Beam said, landing in between the two ponies. "So, you are both going to shut your mouths, and leave each other alone. Do I make myself clear, kids?" She said, smiling a bit as she said "kids", trying to lighten the mood a little. "But, I would like to explore some before we get all serious, so Steel and Aries will go on their way, Hank and Celestia should go somewhere far away from those two, and I will go explore. I would love if you came with me, Violette, but Lune can do whatever he feels like, just stay away from Steel." As she said this last part, she shot a look at Steel. "Later, we can find a library or something and research our family. Is everypony okay with that plan? Well, it doesn't matter if you aren't, because that's what we are going with. Got it? Good, okay." "Lune, want to come with us?" Violette asked, turning to him. He simply nodded slowly, then flapped his wings and flew over to Violette, hovering near her. "Alright, let's get going. Everypony stick to the plan so there won't be any more fighting." Moon said, then took off. Violette and Lune followed soon after.
  14. Star Catcher smiled and took the rose from the unicorn. She had zoned out slightly, staring at him as he spoke. One she realized she had asked him a question, she shook her head, then looked at him and blushed. "Oh sorry, um, I dont remember exactly. But, I wanted to know if your previous offer still stands. You know, about dancing." Star said, getting a bit more nervous now. She had flirted with many stallions before, but with this one, something was different. "Oh, but we never even told each other our names. I'm Star Catcher, but you could call me Star." She said, then looked at him expectantly. Moon Beam had finally come back into the castle, immediately flying to the balcony she was at earlier and landing with grace. The other ponies watched as she made her entrance, stomping their hooves on the floor lightly to praise her. Moon smiled and bowed, glad they were entertained. However, looking around and noticing that Steel hasn't returned, she frowned. "Has Steel come back at all? I couldn't find him anywhere." She asked. When the ponies simply shrugged, she tilted her head in confusion. "Star Catcher hasn't come back either, has she?" The others shook their heads. Moon Beam turned and walked up to the railing, looking out over the crowd below her. Some ponies looked up and smiled at her, others saw her, but ignored her, while the rest were too interested in their conversations to notice anypony else. Moon Beam sighed when she realized neither Steel nor Star were in sight. But, she turned back to the group of points behind her, and smiled. They did the same back, and motioned for her to join them. Figuring that the two would eventually come back, and knowing she had to please these ponies, she put on her best smile and walked towards them. Already, questions were flying at her about Steel and what it's like to be engaged to one of Luna's personal guards, and what it was like living the way she used to, how she met Steel, what it was like going from her life before to practically royalty. Of course, Moon Beam answered every question without hesitating, and perfectly I might add. All the while, she kept a smile on her face and acted the way Steel had taught her to act around these types of ponies. She kept her composure the whole time, but inside, she was quite nervous, as she always was when Steel was gone for long periods of time without her knowing for a fact that he was okay. That started a long time ago, before they were engaged, when he left early in the morning one day without anypony knowing, and she had to save him.
  15. Moon Beam decided to sit down and watch the argument for a while, as well as Violette and Lune, even though he was still at blade point. However, Moon began to get angry about mid-argument, and it simply got worse as it went on. Finally, she figured it was time for her to step in and hopefully stop it. She walked up to Steel, gently pushing him away from Lune and pointing the dagger away from anypony. She then glared at Hank slightly, but with more of a blank expression than any anger. "You know, Hank, I can see exactly where Steel is coming from, seeing as I am a pegasus as well. What Lune here said was very disrespectful, and very unecassary. I don't find it okay, no matter who or what he is, or who or what he has or hasn't seen." she said, the anger in her voice becoming more obvious as she spoke. "And I don't much care for the way you have been talking to Steel either, since he makes a severely good point. So, why don't you look at this from our point of view, and tell me how you would feel." Moon then turned to Steel, her expression and tone softening slightly. "As for you, what you did wasn't right either. I understand your anger, but killing, injuring, or hurting ponies for their opinion isn't okay. I get you are like, Mr. Assasin, just like your friend over there, but still, he's an innocent pony. Frankly, both of you were in the wrong." Moon Beam said, looking at the both of them. "You were, too." she turned to Lune, giving him a dirty look. "And, we are related, so I'd like a bit more respect from my cousin." Lune looked at Moon for a brief moment, but mainly kept his eyes on Steel, still a bit afraid of the stallion. Violette, on the other hand, was simply watching everything unfold. Once she noticed Moon Beam was done, she stepped up to the group. "Well, I'm glad to find out that you are part of our family." she said with a smile. "I'd just like to know how, wouldn't you?" She looked from Lune to Moon Beam. "Yeah, I guess I would. Is there a library or something close by that might have our family tree?" Moon asked. "Yes, I think so. Do you know, Lune?" Violette looked over to him, waiting for an answer. However, he was still staring at Steel. "Uhm, I think it'd be nice to walk around a bit first anyway and get to know this place. It seems so majestic." Moon Beam said, looking around dreamily. "Come on!" she shouted as she flapped her wings and rose into the air, grabbing Steel in the process.
  16. Star watched the unicorn as he fell down a few steps of the stairs. She gasped, her eyes wide. Suddenly, she opened her wings and flew down to him, trying to see if he was okay. "Oh my Celestia! Are you alright?" Star asked, trying to help him back up the stairs and to a flatter surface to stand on. "Oh no, this is my fault. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you like that. I'm so, so, so, so sorry." she kept apologizing, not really knowing what else to say. "Great job, Star! You meet a nice pony, and you see him standing there, and then you scare him half to death! He could have been really hurt! You're so dumb!" she thought, trying her best to help the stallion. When Steel left, Moon Beam didn't mind. She understood that he had a serious job and that he took it very seriously. She simply kept talking to the other ponies, answering their questions and telling them what they wanted to know. However, after a while, she did start to feel a bit lonely, even with the other ponies around her. She began to get a bit fidgety, and she decided to excuse herself from the group. Moon Beam found an area where nopony really was, happy to be alone for a little while. However, she had a feeling that Steel would be somewhere not many ponies are, so that's where she went first. Looking around, she didn't find much. One or two ponies had come along, probably trying to get away from the commotion of the gala. She simply ignored them, and continued her search. However, the ponies didn't ignore her, watching her quite intently as she walked by. There wasn't much expression in their stares, and it made Moon Beam a bit uneasy. She shrugged it off, though, and kept going. After about a half an hour, she still couldn't find Steel. She was anxious, and began to sort of trot around the halls at an oddly fast pace. Finally, she couldn't keep searching, and ran to find the nearest exit. She found a balcony, and ran towards it, gaining speed quickly. Moon Beam opened her wings and jumped, flapping them quickly once she was in the air. Soon, she was outside of the castle, gliding peacefully on the wind. She smiled as she flew higher and higher, watching the sky slowly float down to greet her. The wind blowing through her mane causing her to calm down, she giggled and twirled happily. Finding a cloud she lighted down on it, looking down at the castle. It looked pretty small from the height she was at, and she smiled at the distance. Watching the almost invisible dots move around the castle, she realized she both wanted and needed to be back down at the gala. Finally, she hopped off of the cloud, wings closed tightly by her sides. Moon closed her eyes, feeling the speed as she descended towards the Earth. She folded her forelegs to her chest and began to spin slowly, her dress flapping madly. However, the sound of the air passing by her drowned out anything else. Opening her eyes, she noticed how close she was to the ground now. She waited a few moments longer, letting herself drop lower. Then, she tipped upwards slightly, opening her wings as she did so. She was yanked into the air violently, then began to glide. She flew towards the front of the castle, but didn't go in just yet. "One quick fly around, then I'll go back." she thought as she smiled to herself.
  17. Star was about to turn around and give up looking for the unicorn, when she suddenly saw him making his way through the crowd. She smiled widely when she spotted him, but a frown quickly replaced her happy expression when she saw all the ponies moving away from him as he walked. "Why are they moving away from him like that? They look scared, and he looks a bit tense." She thought aloud. Star watched him walk towards the stairs, and stop for a moment, then he teleported up the stairs. "He's going to the balcony.. I wonder if he's looking for me." Star Catcher thought, watching him. She then turned to Moon Beam as she decided on something to do. "Um, excuse me, but I have to talk to Moon Beam." Star said as she pulled Moon away from the others. "I'll be back in a little while, but I have sompony to talk to. Well, to find first. I just wanted to tell you first so that you didn't turn around and not see me there, you know?" Star explained. "Well, okay. Have fun, and don't be gone too long. Like I said, I wanted to spend the night with both you and Steel." Moon Beam said, then she turned to talk to the other ponies again. Star smiled, happy her sister didn't decide to ask questions. She turned towards the railing, opened her wings, and took off flying towards where she had last seen the unicorn. Soon, she was on the other balcony, and she quickly spotted the stallion. Slowly, she made her way over to him. A bit nervous, she nudged his front leg with her hoof. "Um, hi. I never got your name earlier, and it's been bugging me every since. Would you mind telling it to me?" Star asked, trying not to sound as scared as she was. She was a pretty shy pony, and wasn't exactly the best at talking.
  18. Moon Beam sighed and looked at Spawn. "Like I said, I'm not scared of you. I never really have been. But, don't worry. I have my answers, so now I can go. Thank you, and thanks for the tea as well. Good- bye, Spawn." Moon said with a smile. Her eyes began to glow red, and the black mist trailed from the corners of her eyes. Her hooves began to glow with the red of her eyes, and she began to fade. "Take care." She said with a huge smile on her face before she disappeared completely. Soon, she was back in front of Steel. She looked at him with concern and tiredness in her eyes. The glowing had gone away, but the black mist trails stayed. "Steel, why? Why would you do something like that too yourself? You're a strong pony, and you can take whatever comes at you. And yes, I do know why you did that, but with everything that had happened, you don't think we could handle him together?" Moon Beam took a few steps forward, and was now inches away from him. "You need to stop being so crazy." She giggled and smiled at him. Then, she walked over to his side, leaned down and kissed his cheek. She put her hoof under his chin and made him look at her. Suddenly, her expression went from sweet and caring, to anger and determination. She stared into his eyes as the mist trail intensified. "But I swear to Celestia if you ever try something like that again I will help Spawn take over your body and let him kill and destroy half of Equestria and it will all be blamed on you and then I will kill him so that you die with him and you die with that blame! Do I make myself clear?" Moon Beam said, get voice becoming harsher and more demonic as she spoke. Senia held Grell as tight as she possibly could. "When will it be over?" She whined, trying to make it so that she couldn't hear the screaming.
  19. "Steel! Long time, no see." Star Catcher said as she lifted down gracefully on the balcony. Moon Beam was soon by her side, making Star feel like she finally belonged here. "I know! You need to visit more, Star." Steel laughed as he walked up to Star Catcher's side and hugged her with his wing. "I'm just so happy we can all spend the gala together." Moon Beam smiled, walking up to Steel, who was now in front of Star. Steel put his wing around Moon and pulled her close. They looked so happy and perfect together, since they were so perfect for each other. But, they simply looked a and acted like they belonged here. Star Catcher needed the both of them to feel like she belonged. Star wished she could find somepony, and be like them. They had each other to feel like they were a part of something. She sighed as she thought of a certain pony. "Well, we are going to go talk to some ponies over there," Moon said, motioning sort of behind her. "And you can come if you want." Star looked over to where Moon had motioned, then looked back at her with a very unpleased look. "I'm good. Thanks though." She said. "We will get them to come more over here so we can be closer to you." Moon Beam said, noticing how she became more comfortable when she came to the balcony. "Okay." Star said with a smile. As the two turned away and walked toward the formal looking ponies, Star turned to look over the railing. She searched the crowd for the mysterious unicorn who had suddenly teleported away from her. She sighed. "Did I do something wrong? Or am I that repulsive?.." she thought aloud. "I wonder where he teleported off to anyway." Star Catcher looked out into the crowd, but really expecting to see the unicorn. However, she searched anyway, in spite of her doubts.
  20. Moon Beam sighed. "No. I'm but leaving just yet. I want more answers first." She demanded as she took a few steps toward Spawn. "I get that in here, you're different than you are out there. But if you don't have control or anything or there, why do you leave, or whatever? And, do you not care about what your, let's say, 'other self', does? I mean, you seem so nice. At least to a certain extent. I am just, quite lost." Moon Beam said. She looked at the weapons, not very phased by their presence. Then, one caught her eye. "Oh wow... That's gorgeous! This dagger is amazing, and looks so lethal. Are these yours? Or just randomly materialized?" She asked, admiring the assortment of weapons. Senia cringed as she heard the screams. "Oh, Celestia, make it stop." She thought. Suddenly tempted to open get eyes, Senia closed them tighter. She also held Grell tighter, trying her hardest not to let her temptations get the best of her. She groaned, and eventually just buried her face into Grell's neck. She held him as tightly as she could, not planning on letting go.
  21. ((Sorry I havent posted. I had computer issues)) Star Catcher looked up at the point, eyes wide in surprise. However, before she could stutter a yes, the pony disappeared. Star Catcher was started by his sudden exit and gasped. "Did I take too long to reply or something?" Star thought. She then simply shrugged, and turned back towards the railing. "I have things to worry about other than a fairly cute unicorn." she thought, then began walking along the balcony, looking over the railing every once in a while. Finally, after a few minutes, she spotted Moon Beam and Stained Steel. They were on another balcony overlooking the gala. However, the one they were on looked more exclusive. Star Catcher wondered how she would get to them. "Well, this may not be very accepted here at the gala, but I need to get to my sister. And I am not going back through that crowd." she thought. Suddenly, she opened her wings and began flying towards the balcony. She then saw two guards, who had been standing on the same balcony as Moon and Steel, flying towards her. She banked quickly, avoiding the guards. However, they were already turned around and following get again. They were gaining fast. Luckily, Moon Beam saw her, and called the guards off. "Hey! That's my sister, Star Catcher! Leave her alone!" Moon yelled as she flew up to meet Star. "I thought I told you to look out for her, not attack her." She scolded. The guards lowered their heads. "We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We apologize, Miss Star Catcher." Once of the guards said. "You may go now." Moon Beam said, then looked at Star. "I'm so glad you're here. Come on. Steel's waiting for us." Moon said, already flying back to the balcony.
  22. Moon Beam winced when the pentagram appeared on her neck, but it didn't phase her that much. She was still in her dark form, and the red mist was still trailing from her eyes, but they weren't glowing, and neither was the rest of her anymore. "But you're just going to go back to being evil and vile! I can't just leave when my main purpose in coming here was to put a stop to you hurting Steel, or anypony else for that matter!" Moon Beam yelled, standing and looking up at Spawn with determination and anger. Slowly, a look of confusion made its way onto her face. "Either way, how come you are actually nice sometimes, but other times, you're just plain.. vulgar? You do seem quite intelligent, and not such a bad guy in here." "Okay.." Senia said hesitantly, but closed her eyes as she was told. She had seen a lot in her life, and didn't want to risk seeing anything worse. "Wait!" she yelled, then brought her wing in front of her. A ball of light formed in her wing, and she brought it towards her chest. The light was absorbed into her, and a stripe of light flowed across her. She smiled, then looked at Grell. "It makes me feel better. Anyway, I'm ready now." she said, closing her eyes again. This time, looking more relaxed.
  23. After a while of the mare not answering, Star Catcher decided to leave her alone. She seemed a bit nervous, and didn't want to further upset the pony. The main thing on her mind was finding Moon Beam and Stained Steel. Once she did that, she could look and feel a bit more like she belonged at the gala. "Uhm, I'm sorry to bother you, I guess. I'll just leave you alone." she said awkwardly, stepping away a bit. "I hope you have a good night, though. Good-bye." Star Catcher turned and walked in the other direction. "I hope she ends up okay. I hate to leave her like that, but I do have ponies to find." she thought, looking around. She spotted a staircase, and her eyes followed it up. It went up to a balcony that over-looked the entire party. Smiling, Star Catcher made her way to the stairs, dodging ponies along the way. "There are way too many ponies here. Why did Moonie force me to come here exactly? She knows how much I hate huge crowds like this. Especially when all of them are extremely formal and smart... And some of them snobby.." she thought as she stepped up the stairs. Finally, she was at the top of the stairs. There weren't as many ponies around, and Star Catcher liked that. She looked out over the balcony, smiling as she got the view of the party. The mares and their jewels, the stallions and their ties. It was all actually quite eye-kicking. Star Catcher wondered why she had never wanted to come and take pictures of the event before. However, then she remembered her fear of crowds and bringing attention to herself. Suddenly, as she turned to walk away to find a place with a better view, she bumped into somepony. She stumbled back, almost tripping over her dress and hitting the railing. Shaking her head, she looked up. "Oh, my, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into- woah..." Star Catcher began. Once she could see properly, she realized she had bumped into a stallion. He was a gray unicorn with a dark gray and orange mane. She stared at him for a moment, momentarily dazed. "Oh, I'm so sorry, again. Just uh... you uuuhh... sorry.." she said nervously, trying to avoid looking directly at the stallion.
  24. Star Catcher walked slowly, keeping her head tilted towards the ground, but making sure she wasn't bumping into anypony. There were others around her, but not many. All of them were dressed nicely, their manes done, diamonds and jewels practically flowing off of them. They all looked very nice, admittedly. And Star Catcher practically looked the same, except without all of the glitz. However, the main difference between her and the rest of the ponies around her, was that they were all excited to be there, and she wasn't. She was practically forced to come to this 'Galloping Gala' by her older sister, Moon Beam, who was there because of her fianc Stained Steel. He was one of Luna's 'secret guards', and therefore was allowed to bring anypony he wanted to the gala. Walking up to the large doors of the castle, Star Catcher flipped her snow white mane out of her face as she looked up. She was taken back by how gorgeous the castle really was. Except the fact that there were hundreds of ponies filling the place, it was quite pleasing to look at. Although, so were the ponies, dressed in their silks and fineries. Star Catcher was a bit different in the crowd, though. ((would describe the dress, but I'm not very good at stuff like that, so here)) Walking up to see Celestia and the new princess was slow and nerve wracking, causing her to be more anxious than she should have been. However, when she finally got to the top of the stairs, they were already talking to somepony, so Star Catcher decided to slip past and save herself the embarrassment of making a fool of herself. Finally in the main room, she looked around in awe, actually happy that she was here. She searched the room, trying to find her sister and Steel. After a few minutes of no luck, she decided that she might as well find somepony else to talk to. She looked over and saw a yellow mare, who looked like she had been crying. "Oh, poor pony. She looks so upset. I should go talk to her." Star Catcher thought, making her way to the pony. Soon, she was next to the mare. "Hey, are you okay? I saw you from over there, and I just wanted to know if everything was alright. I can't stand seeing ponies upset. Is there anything I can do to get you in a better mood?" Star asked, trying to sound as polite as possible.
  25. Violette and Trace just stood there, looking at Moon Beam with wide eyes. For a while, they didn't say anything. The three just stared at each other in silence, not sure of what to do next. "But, how could we be related? We have horns and wings, you just have wings. And we are much taller than you are. You can't be the same kind of pony as us." Trace finally spoke up, sneering at Moon Beam. "We come from different worlds, Trace. Remember reading about them? I just didn't know it was real. However, they may be a lot different from us, but we are ponies all the same." Violette said smiling. "Well yes, but I still don't see how that would work out. But, it says it on here, it must be true. My eye screen has never been wrong before." Moon Beam said, her eyes glittering like crazy as she looked through the information on her eye screen. "Well there is a first time for everything, little pony." Trace spat. "Stop being so rude, Lune! You have just met this pony and you are not showing her any kindness at all! What has Moon done to you?" Violette yelled. "She's different, that's what she did to me! She is ugly! Short with only wings and no horn! It's revolting!" Lune Trace yelled back. Violette stood there, looking at him in shock, as well as Moon Beam. "That's so disrespectful, Lune Trace. I can't believe you." Violette said, then looked to Moon Beam. "I'm so sorry. He usually doesn't act like this. However, I am going to settle this now, and see if we are related." she said as her horn began to glow. A shimmering light surrounded the three. After a long moment, the glow moved away from them and into a small bubble that floated above the small groups of ponies. Suddenly, it popped, and left a floating message. Violette squinted to look at it, then finally smiled and looked at the two. "It's true, we are related."
