I know the feel...I have to deal with idiotic drama everyday, and somehow i'm sucked into it when it doesn't even involve me. *sigh*

Anywho, do anything in your power to make her feel better...confront him if you will.

Its understandable though to be mad at him. I wouldn't hold a grudge though.

Giving support to your friend is the way to handle it. Well i've never dated anyone and thus never broke up, but still thats my judgement.

Kinda jealous of how girls get a bunch of support after breakups though, and generally guys guy friends don't give a crap, or even make fun of the person.
