  1. The next level's threat she couldn't contend with without difficulty. Though her sound based weaponry were very effective against slimes, she was far over leveled by it. Its hp bars were going down in slivers. In the beta testing she heard of a technique that needed two ponies or two groups to achieve: Switching. No time now to get a suitable partner, she was determined to kill one. At least. Humbug took much more damage she inflicted but regenerated faster. When her health was running low, she was running as well. Round and round. Mechanically slimes are slow and don't regenerate fast due to her type of attack. I took a full hour to take one down by herself. Only by luck none other respawned "I need a partner... real bad." She warped to the level under. "Dam, I'm not as powerful am I?"
  2. Mister Re, like the silence of the stalemate, was still. His eyes focused on the support beams on the other side. All these houses had suffered from riot damage and quarantine attempts. Garrison would be no use if basis of their supports fell. He was formulating a plan to break these garrisons, with something... something pressurized. We could use boilers to break these petty walls. Many of these abandoned houses had boilers due to their rich nature. Re knew that for sure. "Sunset, We should set up a way to break down these garrisons. I suggest exploiting the boiler rooms here, here and here." Re pointed onto the map three adjacent houses. "I can rig these to explode and provide an opening. I just need two others to rig the rest."
  3. @, "Dammit! You, Bat pony. Why didn't you save some boss for me?" Humbug was panting after sprinting and fighting the monsters. She could barely keep up with her words as she spoke. "I should've been here sooner. Nice dual swords by the way." Humbug's breathing stabilized. "I fancy a sharpened megaphone myself... Whew. Let's get ready for the next level."
  4. Humbug voice echoed through the chambers of the dungeon trying to find the end room. She scanned the corridors like a bat in cave using echo-location to find odds and ends they hide. The monsters inside were no problem since her vibrations carried through the deep decent. The only enemies ahead were already damaged to extent of one hit or more, even she gained experience with seeing an enemy death, just by attack. Humbug noticed that monsters were re-spawning, it means that some pony had recently been there. She hurried to the last chamber. "I hope i didn't miss all of the fun."
  5. Re took a glare at the busy work everyone was doing, he felt useless at this time like he did in the vault. His pip buck didn't show anything off, just the remaining markers were his friends. Except maybe the zebras. "There is still nothing. You guys almost finished?"
  6. @@dashian500, "Creepy..." Re said to Grell. "Still saved my life though." @, He smiled as he put on a cloak and dagger, the last thing he would put on would be his mask. Before that, he looked to Silver with familiarity. She reminded him of his wife. "Silver, you remind me of some pony I know. My wife..." Mister Re spoke no more as he wore a mask, his kind demeanor vanished and were replaced with empty films. He met up with Sunset as shadow of a colt: a soldier.
  7. Three markers appeared beside Humbug's health bar: Starving, Exhausted, Sleep-deprived. Granted, with these status effects she couldn't move two inches without jarring her vision or stumbling to the ground. The mare was slow to act but managed to activate her warp crystal into the nearby inn that was rented for her. Her body fell onto the bed.
  8. Humbug echoed into her weapon while stepping back and back. This compiled creature was massive, ten times bigger than the normal timber wolf. Its power crushed trees in its path and its blows took 10 percent of her health at a time. Every time she took a breath the wolf would charge at her and she had no choice but to run, expending her breath even more. She took only one hit. Her sound device didn't do much, her mind was hyperventilating to make up for the exhaustion. I have to get closer. I have to get inside. There was an attack animation every time the wooden Goliath charged, it opens its mouth to roar. Humbug was tired of fighting and losing health, she was the one creeping closer now. Ever, so, closer. The closer her echo weapon was to the boss, the more damage it did. She was at the mouth of carnivore, giving her last breath until she were to be eaten. A darkness overcame her and she did her best to avoid the gnashing teeth. The mare didn't like the sound, the heart beat or the draining health bar but she held her breath. 2 minutes passed by and the monster reset to its original spawn. Humbug struggled inside the stomach, to get her bladed cone into position. When she did she stabbed a circle into the heart and hummed as loud as she could. The beast was trembling from the inside, losing its recovered health and rapidly going into the red zone. One more push of her vocal range, the beast exploded. Item received: -Spirit of the forest -Twig sword -Timber wolf head Humbug kept the Spirit of the forest, being a small crystalline heart chest piece which granted 2% max health regeneration every 10 seconds, wore the timber wolf head as a cosmetic and sold the twig sword to a collector. "Now I'm ready." She was level 17 and was ready to face the dungeon.
  9. Humbug had been all alone. She'd been avoiding other players and focusing on leveling her skills. Wolves no longer did too much damage to her, since her level was high enough and her armor was better condition (other than the bare none). She fought higher monsters deeper in the plains and in the forest. Only stopping to regain health and sell items she didn't need. Everything was coming along well, except the loneliness. "I'm not the best, but I can try." Humbug echoed her hum to dismember large sets of timber wolves. "Now I wait." The green mare was waiting for the boss wolf to form from the ashes of his brethren. "I'll be ready."
  10. The wolves were all around her and she was at 3/4s hp. Each time she struck, she was flanked from behind and side, chewing down her health little by little. Humbug had no choice but to drive them back with a symphonic repellent. It mimicked a mix of a loud mosquito, crinkling candy wrapper and hooves against a chalkboard. They didn't dare come near. I need to take them out all at once. It might kill if I try but if i don't i die anyway. Humbug lifted her unusual weapon into the air and struck the ground, etching the weapon into dirt. She took a deep breathe and pressed her nostrils against the nozzle. The move prompting them to leap onto her but before contact could be made, She emitted a shock wave of sound into the ground and the air around. It was short ranged and damaged anything in its radius, including her. Most of timber wolves were paralyzed with pain, draining their health. One by one they shattered into twigs. Humbug was getting into the orange section of her health but most of them had fell already. There were two left before she stopped. She was at 25 percent of her health. "Come at me!" --- "Wow, I forgot these existed... DAMMIT!" Humbug used her warp crystal to get to the town. She collected every single drop of monster loot.
  11. "These NPCs can go suck it. How is it that I can't find a single one that can customize my weapon? I guess I have to go to a player blacksmith." There was small gray pony with a shop ahead, same level as her but through his own skill and trade, by making wares and weapons for others. She had sold her monster loot but there was nothing to spend on that she was interested in, except maybe for a better weapon. --- "So you want me to make you a metal cone, that has sharpened edge at the wide end... Do you realize how ridiculous that is?" The gray colt rolled his eyes at the request. "Just make it already. I need to level my stuff up so I can be bomb at this game! Be the top ranks and make everyone jealous." "Fine... I did take your money already." The colt went to his forge room and came out with a sleek steel cone, smooth to the tip, sharp at the wide end. "Thank you."
  12. "On my resume, it says 'doesn't play well with others' but I can manage to do away with that, Lord commander." Mister Re did a curtsy rather than a bow, seeing his leader still as an equal. "My, my, my. There are quite a lot of things busting in here. First a commander and now this pony that healed some of my wounds."
  13. "Bronze, but'll have to do..." Humbug looked at her badly made cone megaphone. It was made from scrap parts and mostly dull brass. Its features were bolted and not even a solid piece. The only part that she liked was the sharp edged outward end. "If this thing gets me killed. I will kill that blacksmith. Shame no ones a high enough level yet to make the good stuff. Okay. Levels = power. First on my list getting my hp up and breath. I didn't think my sort of combat supported on this engine but it does... though very weak and underused." Humbug spotted nearby enemies: Timber wolves. "Lets kill some things." She lured them close with a hummingly pleasant song. Then when she was close enough, she took the first strike and started sing cacaophonous melodies that disorientated the wolves in which she managed to finish them off taking little damage. "I should sell this bark in the next town. If I find the dungeon maybe I can make maps."
  14. Player Name: Humbug Chasity Lime Weapon: Amplifying Cone, a very durable metal cone, amplifies sound. Role: Dungeon cartographer, part-time foal sitter http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/humbug-r6617
  15. "Ten seconds, seems like a long delay. They could just set on it and walk forward get out of blast radius of the thing. Unless its like one of those kinds of bombs. Don't really have the parts but maybe if i gather the right ingredients I could make a mine launcher." Mister Re rubbed his chin in thought. "Maybe, just maybe."
  16. "Yeah, that'd take years. Soprano, We all have radiation medicine...." Re was irritated. " Or not at all. I say we use these explosives to cave in some of the internal structures. Though it might kill us, I am a firm believer that I can calculate points to cave in strategically. Say, when is the explosive delay on these mines?" Re held a hoof to offer to examine the unstable bomb.
  17. "By all means... Who should be the leader of this band of bandoliers? I mean two groups don't just merge together like this without proper set up. But, I agree whole-hearted with Malty. We should have a move on before sunrise." Re spoke with a childish disposition, smiling to avoid hostilites of the bruised colt.
  18. "We could push rocks into for a makeshift cover. If we could manage that." Re drew lines, circles and x's in the sand. "We can aggro the snipers and the others will sneak around and take them out. With some of the new fire power we could make it successful." Re set his pip buck to play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FGRkkD1YRU
  19. @, Mister Re overheard the mare that he saved with Sunset, He was in the shadows among the darkness to avoid any conflict. Though he had to take precautions with others knowing his identity. he'd risk it just to see her face in surprise. He walked toward them and revealed his identity to her. "I helped rescue him, as well as some of his remaining compatriots... I think the act could excuse me crisping some of your comrades." Re was taking a defensive position, if she were to strike.
  20. "I know it seemed cute before but Sporano's cowardice is starting to get on my nerves. Geeze..." Mister Re "I know running and hiding is a technique to survive. It not going to work if your going in a group." Re put a hoof up to hand the yellow pony a hoof. "Come on, Meet these new ponies or should say zebra."
  21. Re took the zebra by his hoof and pulled him upright, then he patted him on the back. "Sorry about that. Orders were orders." Mister Re unequipped his weapon and equipped his social skills. "Its a pleasure to meet you all, Zu-lulians..." He smiled awkwardly, hoping the hostilities between him and the zebra he 'booped' in the face subsided.
  22. Mister Re had quickly pinned down a zebra and had almost as quickly jammed a butt into their face socket but Star's orders were just in the nick of time. Sort of... The recoil of force didn't stop contact between cartilage and wood. It left a slight bruise in the nose area and the zebra holding his nose in the slightest of agony. It looked like he'd experienced a very hard boop to the face. "Boop..." Re, downtrodden by his mistake. "Sorry..."
  23. "Guess I'm using my weapons as a smacking stick again..." Re whisped and smirked disappointingly at the barbaric act. "Why must we settle things like cave mares." Mister Re took out the bullets in his rifle and held it like a club from the metal part. If it were bent in that place, it would become broken beyond use.
  24. "Or, Malt I could pose as a distraction and you take out the snipers. I can cover myself with desert sand and make loud noises. I just hope they are not a good shot. Divide their attention and conquer. But my plans are mostly single handedly... suicidal. What can I say. My parents had the most influence on me. So what else is on the planning menu? Quick, Have any silent type ideas?" Re looked to Quike Strike.
  25. "When I get to New Pegasus, I gotta find someone and settle some old score. You wouldn't know her but she carries a burlap satchel containing something very personal to me. If any of you find her, I need to know." Re cracked his neck, back and forth. "I need... to know." Re held his pip buck up and added a mission. -Get to New Pegasus. "As for my cutie mark, I never got a real one. This is just permanent marker." Re stroked his flank revealing a fade.
