  1. *sigh* I really need to get stuck back into the forum, I need to catch up with my old profile and then surpass it, in a glorious blaze of clever comments.

  2. Are we still taking voulenters for the judge positions? If so, then I would also like to help judge the stories. I love reading, it is my single most favourite hobby and pass time. I also like to think that my spelling and grammar are rather good. If not, then give me a shout the next time something like this shows up. I'll help out then.
  3. I think that there are many reasons why children are maturing slower than they used to. I suppose that one of the reasons why is because parents/guardians ard trying to shelter children from things like sex, drugs and violence. Why? Name one valid reason why we do this. To preserve their innocence? Let me tell you this, innocence is one of the most useless concepts out there and is nothing but a hinderence. All innocence is shattered in the end and in a world such as this, only holds you back. Another reason is because it's getting later and later until we learn important life skills. I'm fifteen now, I'm in my last year at high school before I head off to collage. I'm less than a year away from being thrust into the adult world and do I know how to write a CV? No. Do I know how to do taxes or set up insurance? No, I do not. All of these important topics and more are not even touched upon until my last year of collage.
  4. Perhaps if I had a couple of hours to spare and my, surprisingly talented, maths buddy then I might be able to figure out some of the more simple equations in this thread and apply it to a different set of values. But, alas, I have neither. So I will simply sit here in muted wonder as my fatigue addled brain attempts to comprehend what is being said.
  5. I don't know if I've said this yet, but I just want you guys to know that I'm beyond happy to finally be able to talk to you all again. I've really missed this site.

  6. I know for definite that I'm getting a Azure blue PlayStation 3 (I had no idea that you could get different colours!) And I'm also getting the Blu-ray box set of "How The Universe Works" to accompany it. Also, you know those specially cut rocks you can get? I'm getting one of those but mine is plain rock with three polished stones with fossil imprints in them. ... It looks better than it sounds. EDIT: I found a picture that looks quite a bit like the thing I'm getting.
  7. If you want my opinion, then I think that Blue Shift is a very good name. I wish I'd thought of it, very clever. Bravo my good sir, bravo.
  8. If we're featuring mythological animals then I would be an Ancient Dragon from Skyrim, all the awesomeness of a dragon, all the power of the Thu'um If we're not including mythological animals then I would be a Cuttlefish. Because who wouldn't want to be a Cuttlefish?
  9. The last song I fell asleep listening to was "Wild Eyes" by Parkway Drive, I'm not quite sure how one can fall asleep listening to this on full blast.
  10. Dayum, you're good at this. Could you do a Luna one please?
  11. Well, I don't have an iPod, but my MP3 does have a shuffle function; Coming Home - Avenged Sevenfold (8.5/10) Morgenstern - Rammstein (5/10) Dethsupport - Dethklok (6.7/10) Kuss Mich (Fellfrosch) - Rammstein (6.5/10) Neverending Strife - H8_Seed (20/10) Overall - (7.3/10).
  12. In the ever-changing cruelty of life, death is the only constant, the only promise of complete harmony.

  13. I've just sat for the past seven minutes reading through this thread and thinking of the things that I dislike about the fandom. But before I typed anything up I decided to think through what I was about to say, to make sure that I didn't offend anyone. But as I did this I started to think more deeply about what I disliked about the fandom. The more I thought the more I came to realise that there was no logical or rational reason behind any of my dislikes. And the only things that I could rationalise are not just found in this fandom, incorrect grammar and spellings and idiocy. These are found all over the internet, unfortunately. So there are no specific things about the fandom that I hate or dislike, on general things that can be found almost everywhere on the internet.
  14. For me it depends on what I'm doing. If it's sports or a school subject I find boring or useless then I'm not competitive, I usually don't even try. If I'm on a game, then the only time I'm competitive is if someone's running their mouth off about how "pro" they are. If that's the case then I'll put them through competition after competition until they've either proven to be as good as they say or until they rage. I'm generally too indifferent to what's happening to care about competitions or any of the sort.
  15. At the moment the song stuck in my head is Avenged Sevenfold's A Little Piece of Heaven: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VurhzANQ_B0
