      In Greek mythology there are three+ generations of deities, the Greek Gods that everyone knows are generations three+. The Titans were generation two, and the Primordials (Chaos, Tartarus, Nyx, etc.) were generation one. While the Gods overthrew the Titans, nobody really talks about what happened to the Primordials beyond just mentioning that they existed.
