  1. I probably would not really give it enough of a chance to end up liking it, not as much as I do anyway. There are already a lot of good cartoons with human characters, ponies was what got me hooked. I feel a big part of why I love FiM is the same reason I love Animal Crossing. The characters are cute. I just connect more with animals than with people.
  2. Sailor Moon is my favorite anime, found a good cover of one of the best scenes.
  3. Welcome to our community :)
  4. Might possibly consider replacing my eyes/ears if either goes out, and they have the technology. I would probably stop there. I would not unnaturally prolong my life I think, although if it's something simple, I don't know. But if I got to the point where my quality of life went way down, I would just accept death naturally. Imagine, everyone you know dying, while you're still alive. Immortality is as much of a curse as it is a blessing I think.
  5. Got back into Smite recently. IGN is ZippyThePinhead. I'm looking for peeps to play with, might be in the market for a new clan as well. Would really like to get into a group that uses Discord voice chat.
  6. I've ended up hating fireworks, mostly because I live downtown close to where they do the fireworks shows. So things get very loud for me when they have them, which is like 10-20 times a year.
  7. I used to watch the show, don't really watch it anymore. I should though. Might get Netflix again and start catching up.
  8. I guess. Nintendo and Sega were a HUGE part of my childhood. But it feels like Nintendo lost some of it's spirit, the great games aren't coming out as frequently. NES and SNES had tons of iconic games, not so much with the Switch. They need to stop trying to port games that the Switch CLEARLY can't handle (*cough* WWE2k18 *cough* *cough).
  9. A lot of Switch games are actually either PC ports, inferior versions of other console games (WWE 2k18 is horrible on the Switch), or improved ports of Wii U games. Pokken DX, Super Mario Kart 8 DX, Splatoon 2, Breath of the Wild, etc. I feel it was Wii U games coming to Switch, along with the promise of VC support, and the ability to access Nintendo's backlog of classic games for dirt cheap that drew most people to the Switch in the first place, especially BoTW. So I think my argument still has merit. But maybe I'll give it another chance in the future, if they do implement a proper VC, but right now, the Switch isn't bringing all that many unique games to the table that are worth playing IMO. The only games I was really interested in were BoTW, Pokken Tournament DX, and Super Mario Kart 8 DX. Labo looks interesting, but it's more of a toy than a proper game, great for kids though, people can get really creative, so it does serve it's intended purpose. I know there are many games that others may like that are Switch exclusives, but for me personally, there's not much on the Switch that interests me atm, but I will wait and see. Edit: I do believe the Switch might end up becoming gigantic later, same thing happened to the 3DS. Didn't do that well at first, then had a massive explosion in sales and popularity.
  10. Saw this coming months ago. Thank Celestia I sold my Switch to a pawn shop and got myself a PS4 Pro. Might get myself a Wii U at some point though. Nintendo did everything right with that console, too bad more people didn't buy it.
  11. I feel if Fluttershy died of old age, that would've been enough time for her to rub off enough on Discord where he would continue to be like he is now, only using chaos for non evil purposes. He would respect her wishes enough to not go back to his evil ways.
  12. I dunno, judging from the activity of this forum, I would say it's pretty much alive. And there are many other MLP communities that are active as well. Even if the fandom doesn't get as popular as it was in it's peak, it'll still go on for a very long time at least. The show is no longer new, but good shows aren't easily forgotten.
  13. I sold a PS4 for money towards a Switch. Ended up selling it for money towards a PS4 Pro a few months later. This is not the Nintendo I grew up with. Nintendo made all of these promises for the first quarter of the year, and have yet to deliver on them. And it was mostly those promises that sold me on the Switch in the first place. Once I saw that Dissidia NT was out for PS4, I went back and didn't look back.
  14. Unless there is no competition. In my city, the only competition to Spectrum for decades was Frontier, and that has always been slow. We have Greenlight now, but only in certain areas. So if Spectrum decides to favor or throttle certain sites, or raise their prices, it's basically either switch to a slow ISP, move where I can get Greenlight, or just use my cell for internet.
  15. Except, we actually have had some form of NN since a long time ago. Before that, AT&T had a monopoly on the industry. Also, check what our good buddies at AT&T did when NN was repealed. http://bgr.com/2018/02/23/att-net-neutrality-wireless-plans-ugh
  16. I would just be honest and tell them that I bought the toys from a merchant, who disappeared, and asked that the toys be sealed away (I would say destroyed, but that might destroy the actual ponies in the process) so that they cannot be used for bad anymore. I think since I was not aware of the nature of the toys, I would be let off. and everypony would eventually get over it and eventually forgive me, since I didn't mean to do it. If a jail sentence was unavoidable, I would take the sentence. I don't think I would be in jail for too long, considering my biggest crime would just be unintentional mischief.
  17. \o/ Glorious PC Master Race \o/ All joking aside, I do own a Nintendo Switch, 3DS, multiple Android devices, and a PC. Getting my first serious gaming PC tomorrow (i5 quad core cpu, 1050 ti gpu, etc) and eventually getting an even better card which I forgot the name of, but it's much better than even the 1050 ti, but over $300 xD
  18. Yeah, I noticed some undone animations, although most/all of the ones I saw were taken care of in the first update. There's a reason why they did it this way though, AFAIK, they lost some key animators, so they are trying to get new animators to help finish the animations that are left to do. Other than this, I haven't noticed any other problems, netcode seems to work fine, although there are some slight balance issues I think.
  19. Who has played this so far? It has 6 characters for now, and all characters are ungulates (basically deer, ponies, cows, etc). For those who don't know, it is based off another game they were working on called MLP: Fighting Is Magic. They had to cancel the project so Hasbro wouldn't sue them, but Lauren Faust saved the day by providing a world, lore, characters, etc so they could make an original game. So if characters resemble certain ponies, that is why. Right now the game isn't complete, but it has single player, local multiplayer, and a lobby where players can unlock costume pieces for their avatars, and also challenge other players. It will eventually have story mode, and a bunch of other shiny stuff. There is also a dynamic music system, the stage's theme changes depending on who is winning. My favourite characters so far are Paprika and Pom. http://store.steampowered.com/app/574980/Thems_Fightin_Herds/ If the store link isn't ok, I will remove it.
  20. I think I relate most to Rainbow Dash. I am loyal, and if anyone messes with anybody I care for, they will get it.
  21. I think S4's finale was pretty good tbh.
  22. Preferably 7x (if even possible), but 6x fits me if needed. Everything is 5x or under, mostly 4x or under.
