My hair is a mix between blond and brown. It's more of a blond though, hence why I selected blond. I guess it is dirty blond.

My eyes are very similar, a mix between blue and green, but I chose blue, because blue is closer.

Well, I read it all (of what was there) and I've come up with a list of things I like and dislike.

I really like the whole My Little Human thing, that actually made me laugh. The human in Equestria thing was pretty good as well.

However, the things I dislike outweigh the things I like.

The pacing isn't very good (something I'm guilty of) but it does get better. Some parts don't make sense, such as why he is in Equestria. A lot of the idea's have already been done and are cliche, such as 7th element. I know it was done as an excuse to be with the Mane 6, but still, you could've gone about that in a more creative way (I'm not going to make any suggestions, it would help your writing if you thought it up yourself, therefore it is your idea). The characters seem rather out of character in a lot of places, especially Fluttershy and Twilight. Finally, general writing skills (I know, it sounds mean), but I think you need to work on your description. Even though it is in first person, similes, metaphors etc can really make your writing more enjoyable. A good place to use this would be when you meet Twilight. Compare her beauty to something else (not cliche). Try using more vocabulary, and don't use words such as 'said'. Describe how they are speaking, it will really help.

This isn't the worst fan fic ever, but it still isn't the best. A lot of fanfictions aren't exactly masterpieces or standing ovations anyway, so that's something.

*Pre-post note* After re-reading, I can kind of make sense as to why he is in Equestria, but still not completely.

In my head-canon, ponies can't upgrade to Alicorns, but Twilight get's to do it, so that kinda voided the canon.

Apart from that, there isn't really much else, apart from that there were civilisations in Equestria before the ponies, which were made up of pseudo-ponies and that wars tore the land apart, and that the species evolved into the ponies we know today.

This is great news. The whole Poniverse thing is kinda exciting too, and I can't wait to see what projects we will undergo soon.

I still remember the day I joined the forum, when we weren't as big as we are now, with only a few thousand members. I still can't believe we've grown so much in only a few years.

I know I've been incredibly inactive, but still, I hope to be able to rebuild my name in the community as it continues to grow.

I think one way we could improve is kinda linked to the whole Twilicorn business. 

Respecting other people's opinions, and general respect.

For example, when Season 3 ended, some people were in an uproar, others were completely fine about the ending. However, there were a group of people who I noticed that were constantly flaming and attacking the people who disliked the end of Season 3, or the Season in general. 

People saying things like 'hurr durr you're not a true brony because you didn't like the episode'. 

These are statements that I find ridiculous and are just plain stupid. Just by writing that statement, you're almost contradicting yourself entirely. 

Despite this however, we all need to remember that we should still love each other. Even though I am having periods of misanthropy, I think that we need to know what it's like being another person, and like I said, statements like that make the fandom bad, and make you look like a hypocrite.

We should all continue to love and tolerate each other, even though that statement has essentially become a way to fight trolls.

I need an opinion of an anime: BECK

I've heard it's quite good, it's about Japanese Urban culture and all that good stuff, so I was wondering if anyone had watched it?

(Also, now there are two anime threads. Not sure what to say about it, but meh, I don't mind. I could ask to get it merged).

Yesterday, I decided to start watching School Days. It is a great anime so far, and I'm only on episode 2. 

I've been told that it get's violent towards the end (bloody love violence) so that's something to look forward to. I might write a mini review on it when I've finished it.

I personally ignore it, I was just stating my opinions because the issue came up and I had something to say about the whole thing. 

Which is absolutely fine. Giving your opinion when asked for it is a good thing. I wasn't directing anything at you, and I would never try to destroy your opinion.

I'm not sure if my information is correct, but apparently, the whole thing was a joke, which in my opinion, I actually found hilarious, especially the people who took it seriously, and got in a real mood about it.

No offence, but people getting extremely butthurt (do people still use that?) about something really makes me laugh.

I have watched Hetalia and Death Note like them a lot ,i think everypony should watch them because they are so aweosme. Omg i hate the 100char thingy.

Yes, Death Note is quite a good anime. Not finished it yet however, but I've gotten further in the manga than I have in the anime. 

When you said character in the thread title, I thought you ment psychological character.

But yes, I can agree with you. I think the size was designed so that it could give the viewer a kind of subtle recognition that these characters were all related in some way.

Something else I noticed was that all of the other mares in Ponyville are similar in height, so it may be a correlation in size for all mares, and a different correlation for stallions.

If I may speak for all/many of the newbies, we don't mean to be annoying.  I think that perhaps we are trying too hard to be liked by all of the veterans, which could easily come off as annoying.  All we wish to do is to contribute to the awesome, but in doing so we kind of take it away...

 

Please forgive us.  We don't mean to push away our elders, in fact, it's like you in which many of us aspire to become.  We don't want you to leave, however if that is what you believe you must do, obviously, we can't stop you.

Dude, that's fine Most of the people on the forums are actually good about this, and you seem like a decent person anyway. I guess we were all like that, trying to be noticed by the older bronies, but I suppose it's how you do it that matters really.

You're right. I'm being overly-cynical, which is something that I suppose is bad for me. I'm not going to leave this forum, that's for sure, and it is true that all fandoms have the assholes who won't stop going on about it.

@, (not gonna quote because post is too long) personally, I found My Little Dashie to be quite sad, and it bothered me for a while, but I suppose it has a different impact for different people.

I go through life hating myself and everyone else around me. For example today, I have the genuine urge to go stab this absolute twat I know, while also having the urge to kill myself, even though I have preached in the past that it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem (in most cases anyway).

If this was in anyway directed towards me, then I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way, and I genuinely feel for you. If you want to talk to me about anything, ever, then feel free. I'm always open.  

I think this has it's ups and downs. It is good because you can quickly jump from post to post with ease. The bad part is if you haven't seen the first post yet, you have to go all the way back to the start of the thread to read it.

Yes I have noticed this alot. Not only is there alot of weird new bronys but the community's members are also getting younger people to join like alot of 13 years olds who doesn't even give a shit about the show but forces themselves to like it cause everypony else does.

I am currently studying game programming so maybe i could start a mlp game  that will take a long time though and im not that good, but i think eventually we may have a professional one up which would be awesome.

Regarding licensed game, I think that with the new iOS game Hasbro released, we may possibly see a MLP related game on the market soon, although I doubt it, for the reasons I said above.

If I could make a MLP arcade game with Hasbro's permission I wish... I used to make simple games like Ragnarok Servers and Luna Online servers as well, but the only real coding I know is Java Script. Everything is a little too complicated for my tiny brain... XD

Learn something like C#, that's what most indie games I know are coded in. If you did get their permission, it would be pretty cool to see a game on the Marketplace.

You know what they say: The bigger the barrel and the more apples you throw in it the more likely you are to get a few rotten ones.

 

Even MLP is not immune to the rule that any community that grows larger than a certain point will draw in varied people from around the world. Good people, bad people, awkward people, shameless people, gamers, furries, tentacle porn lovers, whatever!

 

Mankind is so varied at this point that even in small communities you'll get a good variety of people but as it gets bigger the purity becomes harder to maintain.

 

I left the forums for this very reason, and because I wasn't feeling it much anymore, but as soon as season 3 started I got my groove back and I also came to terms with everything I just said above.

I see where your coming from, and wholeheartedly agree with everything you said, although personally, I'm finding it difficult to get back into posting here. Hopefully, if I keep trying to make an effort, I can eventually remake a name for myself, and become fairly well known again.

I don't really think this could work.

Unless Hasbro and Microsoft got some partnership going, then I doubt it would work. Also, do you really think Microsoft, of all companies, would be bothered to code and implement it into Xbox Live, although I do think it would be quite a cool idea.
