I was really disappointed by the fact there are apperantly no desert planets (I LOVE wastelands) and lack of gas giants. I get it, gas giants are far from habitable planets, but where's the realism? They are crucial part of every star system, because SCIENCE.
Every planet has only one biome on the entire surface, and I visited a sandy planet myself, although it was teeming with life. Besides, you can't really land on a gas giant so they would be rather useless ingame.
They can always serve as decoration and in order to preserve logic. I am one of those picky people who actually make big deal of things like that.
And that's the point - they don't feel... empty. And desert planed, harsh, hard to survive on should feel empty. That doesn't really make sense neither.
