      I remember you, yes indeed.

  7. The more I look at how some of my friendships ended the more it becomes apparent how toxic politics and many ideologies in general have become.

I write it as I look at people I once was extremely loyal to. People who eventually got so invested in politics (or any other ideological things) that they became blind to feelings of those around them and eventually discarded them. As enemies, as "fools, who disagree", drones, think of an insult and it likely made its way to their heads. They've chosen to believe cinical men and women in formal clothes or other garments with clear ideological connection. They've chosen to blindly follow those who would not shed a single tear for any misfortune that didn't involve them, likely even would attempt to exploit such terrible events for personal gain.

It's great to know what's happening around the world. It's great to be knowledgable person. But never put it above people who You know. People who themselves probably have their own beliefs, but never take them so far as to sacrifice others for these.

Don't be that person. Don't wound others for politics.

I despise politics in every way shape or form. I pity anypony who wishes to have a career in it.

I don't have issues with politics in general. I myself pay attention to events of the world.

It's just... politics are not worth sacrificing personal life for. And that's what I would be very happy if people understood. A lot of us at one point or another became invested in such things too much. It's my fair warning to those who fall into the trap now - don't do it. It's not worth it.

Fun fact, birds don't like being pet.

One of my ducks "Meg", likes to crawl into my jacket to sleep. That is the closest to petting. The best way to get birds (any birds, not just ducks) to be close is to give them a lot of space and respect to decide if they want to be close or not. Then they slowly learn to be really close, as it looks like you are petting them. But it takes time. I have had my ducks for over 6 years now.

Woah, I actually didn't know that!

If that's the case I would certainly respect duck's personal space :squee: Still, I just love ducks so much, I am jealous even if I know it probably is also a lot of responsibility

  9. I find no issues with that considering how big the galaxy is and how Episode VII and episode VIII were built. There wasn't really much room for travelling and ham-fisting planets like Tatooine etc would feel forced. Starkiller destroying a world like Coruscant would be overkill thing to do (contrary to popular belief it wasn't Coruscant that got destroyed, neither was that system attacked) My only issue with planets in sequels was how... average in design they were. They really did not stand out much, it lacked worlds like Bespin, Dagobah or Felucia for starters - worlds that really felt vastly different from what earth is like. The only exception would be Crait, which also was... rather simple in its design.

  11. I'm afraid Counterspell doesn't give "pay additional cost" option (now, let's not derail the topic with MTG xD)
  12. “Home is people. Not a place. If you go back there after the people are gone, then all you can see is what is not there any more.”

  13. I think I'll just tap 2 blue mana and cast a counterspell on that, thank You very much
  14. Sincerely, it's true Anakin is whiny, but people seem to be biased by Darth Vader being a certified bad*** and rather stoic and charismatic villain who fills hearts of his enemies with dread. Even there they forget Anakin's softness as he gives up his life to save Luke and end Emperor's reign. Last thing he wanted from life is to look at his son with no mask standing in the way. He was no longer a menacing figure, but a father who wants to bid final farewell to the son he loves. Even with entire suit on he no longer instilled fear with his presence. Anakin faced high expectations mixed with certain amount of disdain from some, Windu in particular was generally harsh towards him. Obi Wan despite all his greatness as a jedi wasn't capable of thinking "outside the box" - something necesarry to trian a troubled, insecure soul Anakin was. He wasn't Qui Gon - his mindset was restricted by rules of jedi order, the latter openly questioned. Anakin faced many common "teen" problems, not knowing how to face romantic emotions included. He got no father figure to guide him through those, instead he was pummeled with demands to just "let go" as if that's an easy thing to do. That was exploited by Sidious, who instead of calming Anakin, purposely made him more and more frustrated, guiding him towards the path of mental collapse. In many ways Anakin felt relatable to many of us as we were teenagers back then. Some of us felt misunderstood. Some of us were misguided. Some became edgy and rebelious in a very bad way. Anakin impersonated consequences of it. Bad writing in some cases aside his story was a very good one. Especially when clone wars got released and we had a chance to grasp how truly bad treatment of Anakin by the jedi council was. I think sequels held a lot potential (vague nonsense, I know...) but their biggest sin was absolute lack of any roadmap. As artistic freedom supporter I still think just letting directors do everything with no guidance was plain dumb idea. It just could NOT work, those 3 movies felt so detached from each other, and the last one in many ways felt like a passive agressive jab towards Rian Johnson. It's such a shame Rey became just another child who was lucky to be born into talented family, overall... I think that's the best way to sum up sequels: lost potential. I hope The Mandalorian and other works that are in the making will manage to make these movies feel less detached.
  15. Not related to MLP but I would love Hasbro to stop trying to find a way to treat Wizards of the coast like a milking cow, leading to a steady decline of quality of anything related to Magic The Gathering. It's my favourite card game but with all the ideas to cash it in and predatory schemes surrounding these are... yeah. People blame WOTC for it (and honestly I don't blame anyone for that) but I am pretty sure any cashgrab ideas have their source in WOTC mother company - Hasbro. As for MLP... hard to say. But personally I am not big fan of 3D animation unless it is really, really high budget so I would reconsider staying with animation style known in gen 4.

  21. The feeling when You just now find out that Debate Pit got targetted by orbital friendship cannon.

I have one question though - why wasn't I summoned to pull the trigger so hard it'd likely lead to my thumb being fructured? Am a disappoint :c

Yes, yes, I know, I went full Internet Explorer with this.

Also yes, I know, IE is a dead meme. I regret nothing XD
