  2. I got 1 dosage of Pfizer vaccine. I was very excited, because a lot of people told about microchips so I thought about becoming a walking Wi-Fi router. That and potential reptilian scales... come on, who doesn't want to become a dragon? But no. Nothing happened, I can't breathe fire and I still can only deliver hugs, not the Internet >:c Am angery. No, but seriously I am glad I got at least one dosage out of the way. Too many people around me met their bitter end because of this pest of a virus. I don't want to play a hero and then end up with 70% of my lungs gone like friend who's freaking younger than I am. And I am not even 30 yet. And I have parents I really love, gambling with my life would be one thing, gambling with theirs... yeah, I'll pass. Also I noticed here a discussion about wether vaccines are healthy or not and with all due respect I ask both sides not to involve me into that.
  3. I am never going to hate company so much I'll just openly declare a lifetime boycott, but I can easily name those that fall into the "no preorders" list. Electronic Arts as whole - while lately they managed to reform a bit with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Mass Effect legendary edition they still have a long way to go before I can say "yeah, those guys learned their lesson". Ubisoft - just like copy pasting online articles as part of university thesis is not acceptable unless a good reason is given, copy pasting same game multiple times is just something I can't support. CD Projekt RED - epic fall from grace with Cyberpunk 2077. Those guys bamboozled me big time and Hide The Pain Harold is pretty much me having a "good time" with that game. It's such a shame, but I am sorry, guys. You dropped the ball and it's time to fix Your mess if You are to gain my trust again. Bethesda - I'll make it short... I T J U S T W O R K S
  4. Prequel trilogy to me, even though let's face it... Lucas truly did not shine there and prequels suffered many issues. Let's face it, for vast majority of us prequels are great, because of nostalgia. CGI did not age well to say the least, dialogues are wooden and I don't think any actor would sell lines like "I hate sand" in believable way. Prequels are... pretty much my childhood and to this day I sometimes dream of owning my own lightsaber thanks to them ;D Sequels... I enjoyed them personally to some extent, but I can tell writing process was just chaotic mess from miles away. I don't like Palpatine being alive in ep IX as it was obvious lack of idea as to who can be made a villain (and privately I was happy Disney erased Palpatine's endless resurrections from canon until that happened). The interesting thing I've noticed is plenty of people who started their Star Wars journey with these do like sequels the most. And sincerely... it's fine. I love how Star Wars can connect generations and am more than happy to see people being sucked into the franchise by Kylo Ren, who despite all was amazing villain and I really dig concept of him being embodiement of conflict. I REALLY hope he will be given more depth in the future.
  5. I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite forum on the Citadel

  6. It's great to see new people coming here still ;D Keeping the place alive, I was kind of afraid I'd encounter a graveyard Oh, a person of culture too Fluttershy's the best and that's a fact ;D Ohh, maybe sometime I can shoot a PM? I could use some new friends here :3 and thanks! I have a little... burnout issues at the moment as far as the project is concerned, but I am working on it!

  8. Hopefully I'll begin a big wave with my comeback ;D Thank You for such a warm welcome <3 And they truly do. I am very hopeful that soon we can enjoy all the wonders of modern civilization again. Yes, I want that prediction to become true ;D And then happily cause plenty of ridiculous stupidity as in jolly, good ol' years ;D
  9. O kurde, no way! I hope to manage to stick around more this time. As for the crappy times I still hope they're about to end soon, I am so tired of feeling like I am locked up in a cage D: Good to see You again ;D
  10. Oh I can certainly say my personality has developed plenty throughout the years as well, but still Fluttershy is without doubt the closest as far as MLP is concerned. But if I was to give one general character I feel the closest connection to it would be The Fool from Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings series :3 At the moment I am a little all over the place (I am typing this from the office) but how about I shoot a PM when I am back home?
  11. If this is the first concept then personally I think it's good! Colors do match and she overall looks great! How about we move this to PMs? I don't want to... stuff this thread too much with casual conversations haha
  12. Music is quite literally my way to amplify my emotions. Generally I am a very... reserved person in real world, but when I allow musical notes to speak my mind I do my best to crank up what I feel to the maximum regardless of what emotions or inspiration I wish to convey. But this I'll just leave at that as I don't want to sound too uptight since I am far from some #1 musical professional. I am just an amateur who tries to be better and better in his craft :3 And from experience I can say this - first song almost always is a bad one. I... cringe when I hear some of my first creations I wrote about 10-12 years ago haha
  13. Ohhh! Sadly I am not a visual artist The closest to that I do is Minecraft and there I truly mean it when I say what I do is generally something that would make people be like "but why!" XD I am experimenting with music as far as creativity goes, but my works are pretty much all in metal genre, varying only in heaviness level
  14. Showcare my armor? You got me there, what exactly do You mean by that xD Thank You for the welcome
  15. @Astral Soul Plenty of them are gone, but maybe eventually they'll return? That'd be great for sure (and probably would make forum activity a bit ridiculous with *some* of us becoming a little too active xD) Of course I am open to new friendships and people to hang out with. If You're on the same boat feel free to shoot a PM sometimes! And I hope You're having a good time here too as a new user :3 Oh of course. I have a lot in common with her personality, she's the reason I got so captivated into the show initially. I always felt out of place in the world and it was good to know there is a character I can really connect with. And she's adorable one so that also gives bonus points ;D In my case pandemic led me to Minecraft which really sucked me in due to my rather high creativity drive but now I also got this strong nostalgia attack with MLP so... here I am :3 Nice to meet You too! From what I see we may have plenty in common
  16. Mass Effect Legendary edition. The game turns out to be very good, which came to me as a surprise knowing that last 2 games done by Bioware were controversial at best as far as general audience is concerned. They've really improved first Mass Effect game. We are still dealing with a game that in Poland would be refered as "wooden" but now while it's still wood it definitely got some nice polish on it (get it? Polish guy say polish? hahaha, pretend I am funny pls). There are minor issues, in particular AI is just bunch of ninnyhammers and sound is a little faulty, but other than that it is same Mass Effect that everyone loved with way better graphics. I was initially fearful when buying the game only based on positive reviews, but after playing - it was worth the money :3
  17. While I am not fan of sequel trilogy (but refuse to go as far as downright hate it, belittle fans of it or spend too much of personal time dwelling on it) I am... hopeful. The Mandalorian while without doubt playing it safe at times is also a breath of fresh air and clearly is going for cleaning the mess made by sequels done with no direction or roadmap. I was fearful when it was revealed classic characters like Ahsoka are going to appear there, but good gods, as a HUGE fan of Ahsoka I still care way more about my 2nd favourite fantasy dad - Din Djarin. Star Wars: The Fallen Order turned out to be a great game, I still can't believe EA actually approved something that was not just a shameless cashgrab with predatory schemes to milk fans. Story was... not too original, but captivating enough to make me finish the game and Vader got some sweet treatment there too, changing the game into survival horror the second he appeared. Also clearly LucasArts has finished its homework and will no longer make Star Wars gaming license an exclusive for one company. I still stand by saying it was an awful mistake to have done so when it was handed over to EA Games. And I'd consider it a mistake even if it was given to a respectable gaming company. New shows are already at works, The Bad Batch I really enjoyed, same for last season of Clone Wars (seeing Captain Rex tearing up as he was fighting the implant in his head before attacking Ahsoka really broke me). All in all I have to say this - Star Wars is finally restoring its former glory. There's still hope for us all.
  18. Hello I've been a very active member of this forum in the past (some may even remember my derpiness and awkwardness from back then) and few days ago I had this sudden nostalgia attack that made me come back and see what's happening to one of the most important places I've been to on the Internet. Because yes, this forum actually was of great help to me to find some peace with myself and I've met a lot of great people here, people who I remember to this day even if, from what it appears most of them are no longer active and I don't think I'll get to hear from them again :c What can I say about myself... am a 28 years old guy from the glorious (or not so glorious atm xD) country of Poland. I haven't watched MLP in quite a while, but I plan to do a rewatch soon, especially since apparently new generation is in the making. I am an open minded person to the best of my ability and love meeting new people ^^ My most important hobbies atm would be book reading, particulary fantasy novels are my thing. I listen a lot to metal music (various subgenres, for as long as the atmosphere is there I am going to love it), but don't shy away from other genres of music. I am also a guitar player and am working on my own musical project and hope to release my own music sometime this year Also I'm a gamer and recently spend quite some time being stupid in Minecraft xD Perfect way to spend time in current pandemic-driven world. I hope this time my attempt to return will work and that I will meet plenty of good people around!

More like a nostalgic visit. Plenty of memories related to this place and the ongoing global situation only increased the feeling of said nostalgia.

But hopefully I will remain for quite a while especially since, apparently there's new generation brewing : o

Would You mind if I drop a PM? :3

I get ya. Nice to take a trip down memory lane.

      Sure! Message away. :)

  20. Lately I've begun reading plenty of fantasy books. At the moment I am going through 16 books long Realm of The Elderlings by Robin Hobb. I am on the last book, Assassin's fate and honestly, if someone is in for a slow, but very emotional ride these series are perfect. Certain events left me literally in tears, the world while seems to be relatively small in first trilogy quickly gains in size and Fitz and The Fool are ultimate soulmates. Next in line already is Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. I've read polish translation before, but since I wasn't fan of it I got all the books in english for rereading :3
