Gliese 581c /ˈɡliːzə/ (Gl 581c or GJ 581c) is a planet orbiting within the Gliese 581 system. It is the second planet discovered in the system and the third in order from the star. With a mass at least 5.5 times that of the Earth, it is classified as a super-Earth (a category of planets with masses greater than Earth's up to ten Earth masses). Gliese 581c gained interest from astronomers because it was reported to be the first potentially Earth-like planet in the habitable zone of its star, with a temperature right for liquid water on its surface, and, by extension, potentially capable of supporting extremophile forms of Earth-like life. However, further research casts doubt upon the planet's habitability. It is tidally locked (always presents the same face to the object it is orbiting) so if life had a chance to emerge, the best hope of survival would be in the "terminator zone". In astronomical terms, the Gliese 581 system is relatively close to Earth, at 20.37 light-years (193 trillion kilometres; 120 trillion miles) in the direction of the constellation of Libra. Among Us as a game is alive and well. It's just, at the time the game had a huge popularity fueled by Youtubers and the pandemic which forced us into lockdown. That level of popularity was impossible to maintain in long term, but the game, as of today, secured safe foothold. It's same as with for example Pokemon GO - on launch it had INSANE amount of players capable of literally causing traffic jams in cities, but people quickly started to disperse as those, who were simply curious about a new game abandoned it. The game is incredibly fun, but in my opinion, meant to be played with friends, not strangers. I noticed there are try-hards who play it as if it was some advanced Tycoon type game when it comes to complexity. I had a chance to play it not so long ago and it's just as fun as it ever was. Get good people to play with and it's worth picking. As for memes etc? That's all they are - memes. I never paid much attention to them even if some I've found funny until they (not the game) overstayed their welcome. I treat memes as a separate category.
