  1. You made good points, too bad most people choose hate instead, because it's easier and requires a lot less thinking. Just looking on hate muslims get for random extremist idiots gives enough insight on how dumb people can become, mostly out of fear in this case.

Also in case of police -sometimes it's better to get some insight in incident before judging. From what I remember in one of recent cases of police officer shooting a person was when a person was actually threatening him with a gun. Police officer overreacted, but - what did that genius expect by threatening armed man with a gun...?

And just something else: Women want equal rights, right? But any women would like to go to obligatorily military army? Who? Did I see someone lifting a hand?

It's matter of certain countries, in Poland for example nobody is forced to go to the army, I am pretty sure same thing applies to for example USA. About the rest of countries - I am more for removing army duty. For both genders. I see no point in forcing anyone to go on military training - it's a waste of money in every case trained person turns out to be a deserter during military conflict.

Also I assume in Your country You will have to join the army - can't such duty be cancelled by for example going to the university? Or because of religion? Those were things when obligatory army was still a thing in Poland.

  2. It's the dark nature of the internet. Here everything can be used as an insult. Including things like autism, depression. Some people become reeeaaal jerks when hidden under cloak of anonymousity and will insult everyone in every way. I wish there were more ways to track them down, I'd gladly see some of them being scared for once and understanding what they are doing. I know few people with autism and that makes me even more tickled off when I see using it as an insult.

  3. I know. Last year I wanted to build there a house to live there a year or two, sell it at a high price, and then go abroad. I’m glad I refused building, it would be serious mistake.

Eeyup. Sure Poland is better. At least it’s safer for now. If Putin would occupy any other European territories after the rest of Ukraine, I hope NATO won’t let him go any further yet I’m not sure in anythin’. Anyway, there won’t be anythin’ good.

I don’t mean to be kinda russophobic, but there is nothin’ to wonder about. Russians live for ideas, they can’t live without strong leader, militarism, and great idea. Putin just give ’em what they want, that’s why they support him. The current idea is “other nations are our enemies, we must set our people free, if we won’t ‘freed Ukraine’- then evil Americans will occupy it.” And the history knows many cases, when Russians bore any hardships for some “great idea,” but still won’t rebel. When TV and press all the time tell, “our enemy is there,” only a few would understand that our true enemy is actually sitting in Kremlin.

We have our opposition too, but there are too few of ’em and they have no political power. The government even don’t need to suppress them (making illusion of democracy)- most of the people will, who think, “if you ain’t with us, then you’re our enemy.”

I doubt NATO will allow Putin to go any further. They never obliged to be protecting Ukraine, besides Ukraine did nothing to protect themselves. They could've taken down separatist movement before it spreaded yet instead they waited for some kind of miracle. Sadly Ukraine too is responsible for what's going on.

Then people there are blind, USA is not even sending their soldiers to Ukraine (and never will probably) and hardest sanctions were given by EU. And they were given for a reason. Innocents die out there. I don't care what Putin wants if he allows this mess to happen he deserves to have a bullet between his eyes. I wonder if politicians would be so brave about war if they were the ones who'd have to grab a gun. I know other two people who are russians and hate Putin a lot. I hope eventually someone will manage to stop this madness before it spreads.

Yeah, I know that Your opposition is weak. Your government did good job in silencing them :(

  4. Yeah, but the problem is not in Putin itself, the problem is in people who beget the rulers like him. If any other candidate had take his place, I doubt anythin’ would change, for Russians don’t know what freedom and democracy are and actually don’t need ’em. That’s why we have the rulers from bad to worse during the entire history, who takes his people only as cannon fodder for another war or personal ambitions.

I know, I have to move abroad as soon as possible. I wanted to enter an American college some time ago, but my plans have been ruined- I lost too much money because of fall of rouble rate, and now it’s getting almost impossible to me to get US visa, because of aggravation of the tension between Russia and America. One of my acquaintances, who wanted to study in US too, got denial, even though he had more chances than me.

But it doesn’t matter now. I’d like to move in almost every country, everywhere, where I could feel safe. I wanted to emigrate, I dreamed about it, but I didn’t know the time will come so soon. Seems like my dream has turned into my misery.

Maybe You consider it misery but considering situation You're in in Russia emigration sounds like only thing You can do. Even Poland is in better condition (and Poland is no 1st world country, honestly), but people here are now panicking because they think Putin will go after us when he deals with Ukraine. I doubt he will go any further, but... well, media do all the magic with panic spreading.

You can try going for other countries in Europe with hope You might get access to any of them. Just... do it before it is too late.

And I am aware of what majority of russians are like. I just can't believe they allow Putin to treat them like toys. In Poland government too goes far with some things (but not half as far as Putin does) but at least SOMEONE is shouting that it's wrong...

  6. Well, the problem itself is not that I can’t be a subscriber anymore; it actually lays deeper. Now 80% of people here support official Russian politics and, knowing Russians, I can say they will support it under almost any circumstances, down to famine. The rate of rouble is gettin’ lower along with oil prices, while the prices on everything here is only gettin’ higher. Every day when I read the news and watch over share indexes I feel somethin’ terrible is going to happen. I’m afraid I won’t have time to leave this country before it happens.

I think You should try to leave it as soon as possible. Damn, I'd provide You a place to stay myself if not the fact I just can't afford doing it now. Putin does not give a damn about people, all he cares for is that he will be remembered on pages of history so he acts hostile towards Ukraine. Ukraine is not saint itself but it does not give Putin right to act like this. Too bad it is just like You say - he has lots of zombies following him.

  7. tl;dr with 60% less salty exaggerations and jokes since you deleted my other post: there is a difference between hyper-positivity, constructive criticism (looking at all aspects of a work), and downright attacking, and it sounds like you focus heavily on the final of those.

My last post was the latter. Perhaps a bit too much soooo.

Did You read any of her comment on other people's work since You go with judging very fast? Because what You write shouts loudly that You did not bother with that.

  8. I have to agree. While I have to say that some people just lack the hearing to notice flaws and they will say they love something because of that, I really hate it when someone obviously notices flaws, yet remains silent about them.

When I post videos on YouTube I don't post them to hear people comparing me to some kind of god or talking how great am I (when I am obviously not). I want to hear what I did good and what needs to be polished. In the very end I look for my flaws myself because I don't expect others to point them out anymore. And it is not like I don't appreciate positive opinions. I do. But I know that some of people who comment my work are good enough musicians to also hear the flaws about my guitar playing. Also I really hate when someone is like "it is bad, the end". That is not criticism. That is negative opinion which is not  based on argument, leaves person with no idea what was done bad. Most often such opinions actuallly come out from hands of internet trolls.

And if people gave up because of criticism (I refer to case You describe) then they would do no good with music anyway. Criticism is heard all the time. Even big, well recognizable artists like Iron Maiden are hearing it. Being criticized is part of being a musician. If someone expects every person on planet earth will love him/her then he/she is wrong.
