Sir Hugsalot

The parasprite seemed to be undisturbed by what happened, hovering in the air and giggling. As lights begun to flash in front of @Aurora GlimmerCaramel it said "It's a challenge! You two must beat it together, before we continue!" For a moment parasprite's attention shifted to other ponies. It noticed especially @Skylight Scintillate and Vibrant Grove with their ever watchful eyes. In a way all of this felt new to the parasprite too. The care it received from Caramel, the trust those ponies seemed to have given it. Parasprites are infamous due to that one incident that happened in Ponyville yet here it experienced nothing, but kindness. As those thoughts ran through little creature's mind it kept its wide, innocent smile.

@TheRockARooster The plant seemed almost fleshy in its texture. Colour somewhere in between red and brown. Upon close investigation @Dynamo Pad and @Aurora Glimmer Caramel would discover that both walls also had cutie marks. The one on the left had Caramel's own, heart shaped symbol. The one on the right had gaming pad that looked exactly like the one on Dynamo's flank. As two ponies approached closely suddenly there was a sharp pull that has put them both in front of their respective walls with mushrooms. As they try to step away they find themselves unable to do so, their gaze focused on mushrooms instead. In front of Caramel lights started appearing on mushroom caps. They seemed to follow a pattern that kept repeating itself.

Vibrant would notice the lack of trust coming from Saffron "I have no idea myself. All I know is, it would be nice to find a way out from this place. Please, come with us, I don't believe dividing ourselves now would be a wise idea." "I believe there's little in here that can be considered trustworthy. But let's be honest. We don't know what to do. That parasprite has to know something." Vibrant would nod towards Skylight and then continue "But it's good that You're careful. We will really need that here. Stay sharp, Skylight."

@Aurora Glimmer @Dynamo Pad Before the ponies was a room. The parasprite flew right into it as cheerful and fast as ever. In the room stood two walls with colorful mushrooms sticking out from them in a manner that made them look like buttons. Walls were covered in moss and grass that appeared almost healthy, compared to the rotting plant life ponies have seen anywhere else. Colors of mushrooms were rich and bright, unlike anything else in this disturbing area. They also had plenty of white dots, giving almost a sensation of relief from the gloom that surrounded ponies anywhere else. The parasprite was hovering in between two walls. It seemed to be inviting Caramel and Dynamo to step in.

The parasprite looked at @Dynamo Padas it responded. "Oh, that is the most awful story!" it sighed in an excessively dramatic manner. "I was just flying around, enjoying the wonderful party You have here, while it lasted and when that black mare casted a spell one of walls slammed into my wing!" It whimpered. For few seconds it appeared sad and somber again, but quickly collected itself, perking up once more. It would notice Dynamo's visible confusion as he investigates other corridors and giggle, saying "not that way, silly! Follow me!" as it flew through the corridor, guiding ponies into what's to come...

The parasprite would tilt its head... well... its entire body with a little bit of a confusion from Caramel's questions. "Never heard of any... Queen Crystalism? Actually I never heard any of these names, I am sorry!" it giggled and started to playfully fly around. "If You mean the mean black mare then yes! I was spying on her! She never caught me. Such a dummy she is!" Seeing that @Aurora GlimmerCaramel finally followed it into the passage the parasprite looked at @Dynamo Pad "You're coming?" It seemed to not notice @Skylight Scintillate whispering to the blue unicorn. "We won't be able to do this without You! Everypony else may come too!"

As more light is cast the group would finally be able to see everything clearly. The walls and path as putrid and dark as before had no more surprises. It wasn't a welcome sight to anypony, in fact it would be better to not see so much of it. But now finally all ponies can see each other, light provided by combined spells of @Dynamo Pad and @Skylight Scintillate being intense enough to cover all the area around them. All the ponies stuck within mossy walls can see each other. Also another detail became clear now. One of bricks forming the pathway, the parasprite is leading them to had a little engraving on it. It appeared to roughly resemble cutie marks of @Aurora Glimmer Caramel and Dynamo Pad. The two remaining paths seemed to have no indication as to where may they lead, assuming they would be leading the group anywhere.

Vibrant would keep looking for ponies that were not with the group to ensure nopony would get lost. He noticed that Blue still looked dizzy and shocked by what happened, so he quickly approached him. "Hello! I don't believe we had a chance to talk before. My name is Vibrant Grove and we happen to be in the same... situation as You probably noticed. Where is Your match? Do You see them with us?" He asks as he points at the group of gathered ponies. @Brony Number 42 Upon noticing Wolf Tracks and Saffron, Vibrant would extend his invitation to the group to them as well. "Come with us, friends. Nobody has any idea as to what happened, but I believe we should all stick together!" "No kidding about the smell, I don't think my nose will ever get used to it." Vibrant responded. "Where to go? Now that's a very good question, I believe that for now following the parasprite may be the best idea, I don't see any sort of clue that may present a different option to us. Thank You so much for more light." He smiled at Skylight, group finally able to see their surroundings a bit more.

Vibrant would see this scene unfolding before him, but it wasn't his call. Despite his great expertise with woods of Everfree Forest, his knowledge of parasprites was lacking. However, he certainly would welcome any sort of hint regarding the current situation and the curious, little thing appeared to be having at least some answers. He would look at Dyny and Caramel and say "I do believe so too. If anything, this may help us truly understand what's happening now. But ultimately I leave the decision to You." He would smile at them both.

The parasprite would take a peek at Dynamo and respond "Oh, but that's where You're wrong, silly!" it flew playfully around Dynamo and giggle. You have exactly the talent that's needed to help You all leave this place! Just follow me and I will show You! Come on! Come on!" The parasprite would keep flying around @Dynamo Pad Dynamo and @Aurora GlimmerCaramel before starting to hover at one of passages, seemingly expecting them to follow. Now that it's perfectly healed its cuteness could truly be seen, a stark contrast when compared to everything else that surrounds ponies here.

A parasprite would perk up, feeling like its calls were finally answered. It ignored, though the call to not fly for some time and continued hovering in the air. However, now it was finally opening up to @Dynamo Pad and @Aurora Glimmer "Thank You so much!" it spoke to Aurora in a high pitched, cheery voice. "I've been looking for the both of You! Dynamo and Aurora, am I right?" It would examine them more carefully and humm with a soft voice. As its assumption was confirmed beyond any doubt it continued. "You may wonder how do I know Your names, hm?" It giggled playfully. "You see, I actually know of that mean black mare's plan! I was spying on her! That means I also know how to get You all out from here. For that, however... I need ponies with Your talents! Would You follow me? That way I can show You gratitude for help!" The parasprite would giggle again and spin in the air several times, its mouth opened wide with visible excitement.

The parasprite would continously hover in the air, despite how difficult it appeared for it to keep floating. It appeared like it understood the question, but wasn't answering it, repeating "help me" instead. Except for the wing it appeared to be in a perfect shape. It's gaze kept switching from Caramel to Dynamo, but that's about the only thing it was doing.

Initially Vibrant was caught off guard by the sight of the lone parasprite in this, otherwise gloomy area. What was it doing here? He couldn't tell, but it certainly was fixated on 2 specific ponies @Dynamo Pad @Aurora Glimmer and seemed to barely aknowledge anypony else. Unsure, where to guide his team yet, Vibrant, having never met Nebel @GeneralDirection before decided to introduce himself to yet another pony, wishing to know who is he with. He would extend his hoof to greet Nebel "Hello, Nebel, I don't believe we had a chance to introduce ourselves to each other yet. My name is Vibrant Grove and we seem to be put in this "jolly" situation together" he smiled, masking his nervousness behind well practiced mannerism.

Through one of paths flew the most unexpected creature. It was a parasprite! It's flight looked unstable and as it approached closer the reason behind that became clear - one of its wings appeared to be damaged. The expression on its face was unhappy, contrasting with its pastel pink body. Clearly the little insect took no joy in having their ability to fly limited. It seemed to have analyzed each and every pony, inspecting them... as if it's looking for something... or someone. It seemed to take no interest in most of ponies, sparing them a glance at best. It changed, when it approached Dynamo @Dynamo Pad and Caramel @Aurora Glimmer. Suddenly the parasprite stopped and, much to everypony's surprised... it spoke. "Help me..." it whispered weakly...

Vibrant took a moment to look around as there was finally some light visible. He recognized all the ponies, that were here with him. After all, he was the one that delivered mail to them. @Brony Number 42 @Tao @The Wife of Law @Dark Horse @Skylight Scintillate @GeneralDirection @Dynamo Pad @Aurora Glimmer @Sparklefan1234 and of course @TheRockARooster with whom he just got very closely aquainted. Casting light on the area has shown truly how grim it looked. The walls were almost overtaken by moss. The paving stone they stood on was uneven, occasionally missing, dotted with pools of green, toxic-looking water. Everything looked hostile. There wasn't much more to be seen, the monotony of the corridor only further increased its disturbing impression. Before them were 3 split paths, but where would they lead was unknown to them. Vibrant, thanks to his expertise and exploration of wilderness had a chance of guiding them safely if any tracks or related clues were left, but before that he looked at @Dynamo Padto answer. "That is me, it's a pleasure to meet You, Dynamo! Thank You so much for the light, it's still not much, but compared to complete darkness it's plenty help. Circumstances may not be perfect, but any friend of Silky @Princess Silkyis my friend too! As of now we should simply stick close to each other." Before anything more could be said Vibrant felt like he heard very silent fluttering of wings...

Vibrant, being dangerously close to the area, where the wall will rise found himself being knocked back. He would fall right onto @TheRockARoosterRoswell and the two of them would find themselves on the ground. "Ough... sorry about that, my friend" Vibrant says, helping Roswell to get back up. He looked around and it is then that he realized the true magnitude of problem he got himself into. The place looked horrible. The smell of rot was overbearing to his nostrils, the very weak, greenish light was not enough for him to be able to fully comprehend where he's at. He heard and in some cases, saw, however several other ponies being with him. He looked around for @Princess Silky, but she was nowhere to be found. "Silky?" He called multiple times. But his calls were not answered. They were trapped. He tried flying up, but some strange magic prevented him from reaching beyond the walls. Pounding against the wall was useless, the moss prevented even the strongest blow to actually reach the stone. He felt some sadness inside of him from how they got separated. He sighed and then, trying to keep his more confident presence turned around to the rest of ponies that got trapped with him. "Okay, everypony, I will speak with honesty. I don't know what happened or where are we. But there must be a way out from this. For that - we have to work together. Stay close, don't let go of each other. Is any unicorn here able to give us some more light? I can't see a thing in here.

Vibrant would overhear Sophie @Sophie H.and joined in the musical conversation "Hey, You play multiple instruments, don't You? I so happen to have a guitar with me that I can spare. How about You play something for us, Sophie?" He hands over a neatly made instrument, curious as to what will the mare play for them.

I can confirm. Literally happened today. Me: opens bottle of Coca Cola Lime Silky, from the other room, while playing video game with sound on: I HEARD THAT!!!! I love You so much, Silky ;-; But to answer question - like a glass per day at maximum, I believe!

"Pleasure to meet You, Thunder Gust!" Vibrant responded and then glanced at the lantern he was holding. "This shiny thing? Honestly, I am not entirely sure. All I know is that while I've seen many glowing stones in my life, this is the first time, their glow shows any kind of symbol, look!" He presents the lantern to Thunder Gust. At first it looked like a typical lantern, emitting light, but then he saw that the light actually came from a crystal... and the crystal had a shape of some flower." @Princess Silky Star Silk gave it to me, so she may know more. What's curious is that the glow became brighter as I approached You"

@Totally Lyra After Vibrant was finished with greeting new guests he returned to task he had in mind - figuring out, what is the glowing stone exactly about. He remembered how the light was becoming brighter as he was getting closer to certain, orange stallion, so he decided to look for him, while @Princess Silkywas still busy with the party. He hoped she would join him soon as she has greater knowledge of such matters than he does. The glow led him outside, towards the garden. It didn't take long before he witnessed the stallion - his colors stood out among the crowd a lot. As he approached the stallion, with the stone's glow becoming more and more intense he greeted him. "Greetings! My name is Vibrant Grove! You must be Thunder Gust, am I right?"
