  1. nice work XD my room is always messy. one question, all that other gear, the guitars, the mics, the interface, the pedals. etc. but i don't see a pair of monitors? you should consider getting a pair, they help a ton :^)
  2. not bad at all for a first shot! much better than my first song, keep it up, don't give up on it, just keep at it and you'll get better and better. music from my experience is one of those things that you just don't stop getting better at and learning new stuff about. here's an interesting video for ya http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbcoypwBmQs
  3. i know it's been done many times before, but this song was stuck in my head and i could NOT get it out. so i spent 40+ hours making a remix of it for me to get sick of it also, this will be the last song i'll be making in fl studio. ableton just arrived in my mail yesterday and i'm super hyped about it c:
  4. pretty good, the overall production is really great, especially the melodies. when people are still beginning at making music, they usually mess up with the melodies and it ends up rather annoying. but you don't seem to have that problem c: awesome! the best advice i can give you right now is to use different drums samples, and some different synths, the basic fl studio drum kit is pretty sucky and the synth presets for sytrus are waaaaaay too overused keep at it
  5. fl studio is annoying me :I i can't wait to get my hands on ableton.

  6. well, i can if you want, but you didn't give me a specific song :^) you gave me a link to your soundcloud with all your stuff on it. so i just made a post regarding your music in general and not a specific song
  7. pretty good i love listening to peoples music when there just starting out, it reminds me of the times when i just started out XD and if you follow the person you get to see them improve over time i gave you a follow c:
  8. http://youtu.be/KXlXKO70cNQ hello there, i've been on the forums for a short while now, and i thought with the release of my new song i would give you a proper introduction/bio thing about me c: ill give you a few random stats about me c: name: sam age: 14 location: california (i'm moving to oregon soon though) i've been making music for about 4 years now, when i was 10, i discovered a cool little program called fl studio, in a couple of months a downloaded and taught myself how to use the program, and by the time i was 11, i was making little simple songs. i'm actually in the process right now of switching from fl studio to ableton, this song was made in fl studio. if you want to ask me any questions feel free, i'm open to all kinds of questions, weather it's pony/music related or not.
  9. https://soundcloud.com/mewtewz/please-dont-listen-to-this-if NOTE THAT THIS SONG IS EXPLICIT!!!!!!! was bored so i decided to throw this together >inb4 song sucks i know, this song wasn't made to be good, plus it was made in half an hour.
  10. just finishing up a song :D turning out to be one of my best tracks yet :3

  11. i would start out using the demo of fl studio, you can do everything besides save the project file, you can even export the audio file! it also supports vst's and whatnot, and the plugins that come with the demo are half decent. i was able to teach myself how to use the program when i was 10, so it should be fairly easy for you to learn. watch a lot of youtube videos on how to use it. i'm pretty sure that SeamlessR is doing tutorials for beginners to fl studio! fl studio: http://www.image-line.com/documents/flstudio.html seamlessr's tutorials: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqZkULNCbPM keep in mind that music is never easy, and it takes a lot of practice. i wish you the best of luck c:
  12. pretty good i love all the background ambiance. the major problem with the song though is that slayer isn't really a convincing guitar vst sorry :c i would recommend either getting a real guitar or a higher quality vst. such as this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OPF7Mijakw you have lots of potential! keep it up
  13. great remix! it's toned down and more mellow than all the other ones i've heard! i like it the only problem is that the main lead is a little bit out of tune oh, and one question, how did you start messing with it in class did nobody see you going away working on beats in the middle of a lecture? XD
  14. very well done! Octavia would approve! now, im not into classical/instrumental music myself, but i have to say that listening that listening to those couple of songs was pretty fun the only complaint i have is that that the audio quality of the second one seemed a little less than that of the first one.
  15. nice job! have you considered getting a higher quality microphone? i think that it would be a worthwhile investment for you! especially if you plan on making more vocal covers like this. c:
