Lightning Bliss

More like he asked me out, or...i wouldn't even call it that. It's strange um... well first off it was strictly online. I guess you could say we talked alot (which i thought as friends) but he had a crush on me the whole time. Wasn't till a year later he told me that he loved me. I made the poor guy wait 24hours to figure out my feelings for him, (which were the same) Today he's my husband. To be fair he and I missed the phsyical enjoyment of going out on a date. It was strictly an online relationship with the occassiona visit from him once a year, same for him. Then he proposed and thats the end of that. Now we kinda catch up on those date nights by taking each other out for dinner or a movie.

@, "I'm not wearing a stupid tiara..." Bliss snorted, her pride getting pushed by Hurricane with every word that spewed from her mouth, "and my father got me flying months earlier before any filly in my class when i was a pegasus...I'm no Rainbow Dash, but neither are you... At least I'm offering to help, rather then acting like a stuck up pegasus. You claim we 'alicorns' are the stuck ups, but we're not the ones calling each other stupid or rejecting help when its offered. You could at least give me the benfit of the doubt before you start assuming the worst in us, or do you do that to everypony... You don't even know me, Princess..." Bliss added in the insult as a clear saying to her acting like a brat, then added, "oh and by the way... It's Lightning Bliss to you... My name is NOT Princess!" Snorting once more, she fluttered off hotly ahead of her, keeping low to the tree line and making sure no pony stepped in the sand Hurricane spotted.

@@Firehearted, You gonna be a vampire bro lol, have fun with that! @, @@Bada3oom Box, @@arkman575 So ok I read the prophecy, I may have to re-write it though since Boom doens't know about it. I figured she already did, so my bad I'll fix that. As for now me knowing about it...can that be used here? Not sure what to do with it other then to fear vampires more lol.

Yup so we're basically all in the forest, I'm just now flying up in the sky with Hurricane to keep an eye on the group, she claims to have spotted a lightning sand storm or something (think i misread). And ya sorry i have a new job so I can't reply fast as i want, might want to slow down some everypony. Maybe wait one or two posts after yours if that helps (which I shall do as well starting now lol)

@, Not wanting to be put down or out done, Bliss also leapt into the air, flying just a few feet higher then Hurricane, thorwing a bit of whip lash at her in the process. "And belive it or not," she retorted, "I was a pegasus before I was thrown into alicorn ascention. Two pairs of eyes are better then one. And you may have had more experience here in this forest, but I'm not a spring chicken on it either!" She calmed a moment as she spotted what she claimed to be lightning sand, nodded and turned back to her. Her words more of even leveled and equal treating towards Hurricane, "If you really do or...want to tag along with us... We got to work together here."

@, @, @@Pripyat Pony, Bliss did her best to keep her tongue in her mouth since Blaze was already on her case about fighting back...She really wasn't the type to get in a real physical fight when it really came down to it just over hurtful words. She took one look at the ignorant black pegasus and quickly added up. She's not even worth one of your thunder bucks Blissy...let it go. She sighed and shrugged, pushing past Hurricane and Raze in eagerness to move forward. "If we're done of acting like who can trust who, or fears of burning down a forest that has more meaning to Celestia, Luna and Twilight then some of us can understand," she darted a stink eye on Hurricane as if to say 'you really don't think do you', then continued, "I agree with Rose. I don't want to fight timber wolves tonight, nor do I wish to run into any rockadiles, forest drakes, or diamond dogs. Much as I admit I helped in negotiations for territories in the Everfree forest between the diamond dogs and drakes, that doesn't mean they like trespassers...I don't think I would be able to stop a fight if it broke out...if it helps, maybe having more then one flyer up in the air would benefit the group. It double the help in avoiding trouble later on."

As Bliss read on she noticed that some of the wording and language was becoming undistinctive, getting harder and harder to understand, like a mix between her own language...and one that was unknown to her. A part of her pony spirit told her to give up on the read, it was only plauging her mind with more fears of their survival then anything... But just as she got to the next page, where the language was unreadable...the book suddenly flopped in front of her, pulling away from her hooves. "What in the name of Luna?" Before she could try to catch the book, it began to glow an omnious blood red...and floated into the air just inches above her nose. Little did she know, but the book's own magic touched her horn...sending a direct link to one another in a response to alicorn magic being present. No more obvious to the book tapping into her alicorn magic, her eyes began to glow bright white...Then...the words in front of her, suddenly began to make sense...It was as if they were transforming only for her, like the book and her alicorn magic as one, wanted her to understand these pages... "The Legend of the BloodMoon Princess..." she read aloud to herself without realizing, her voice echoed in an old Equestrian royal state, "On the night of a full...blood red moon... a full blooded Vampire will drain the magic and life force of a pure royal alicorn... becoming the Princess of Vampires. Destiny promises she will bring back the pure vampire race, from their banishment of Tartarus...and will take their rightful place on the world once more." Her heart began to thump harder in her chest, her ears flickering with as she continued to read oblivious of the red aura glowing around her. "The first Royal Vampire since the races banishment to Tartarus, will take her rightful place as the ruler of her people...and bring back the night species former glory. But with the appearence of a saviour...comes a devil...for the one who is destined to rule...will be challenged her right by the evil 'Vampire Lord'.......... *Page missing*" Suddenly the book dropped down on her hooves, the glowing ceased instantly, along with her glowing eyes and horn. "Huh?" She shook her head and rubbed a tinkling senstation she felt after a recently abrupt use of magic. Then it all came slamming back to her. "The book...it's not just any book...it's a legacy of an entire race of beings...that thrive in the night and feed on blood...and this...prophecy details the return of their ruler...and that...will only happen on a red moon...But surely there's no red moon coming any time soon...Is...is there?" Her heart skipped a beat...she had no idea of the lunar activity...after all it wasn't her job to be responsible of the night sky... The only creature she knew that would have a good estimate on such a phenomone, and knew Princess Luna well enough, was Seth. @@arkman575, "Hurry Seth..." she whimpered under her tail...the cold was getting worse and her wings were twinging in pain..."There's something going on...it's no mere coiencidence that vampires are here...They want this book...Boom wants this book...for the evil it holds..."

@@Pripyat Pony, "We may have earned it," Bliss added in after Clover, "but at what cost to me anyway? I never wanted this Clover... I just wanted to get married and have a normal life with my family and friends. It's bad enough as it is that I look the way I do, now I have a horn to show for it too..." her bitterness had grown since the insult and Blaze's pompous outlook on emotions. "I'm sorry... I'm not being fair or appropriate. I should be grateful... I just..." she shifted her weight as she walked, feeling tongue tied. "I don't don't feel like I got what it takes." @, After she heard Raze mention about diamond dog territory...Bliss's coat stood up. She had one encounter with a pack of diamond dogs once, it was over the Everfree forest drakes to start with. Both clans were fighting each other for territory. The diamond dogs said the drakes invaded their mining caves where they hunt for gems. The drakes said though, that they have always used the gem sight as their nesting grounds. The result being both clans were at territory war with each other, many drake eggs were snatched and broken, while alot of dogs were burnt or injured. She along with a friend accompanying her, attempted to diffuse the situation on both sides, but the diamon dog leader wasn't about to listen to reason...not without the help of peaceful persuasion...meaning her horn took over the scene. An agreement was met with the two creatures. The diamond dogs could mine for their precious gems and share some of their load with the drakes for their nesting grounds. In return the drakes would keep the dogs safe from other dangerous creatures in the forest while they mine. It was a good night of negotiations Bliss thought...but that doesn't mean the diamond dogs have changed their ways...same as the drakes. Both sides are very greedy of their hoards...and still wouldn't take kindly to tresspassers. "Um...Blaze?" She asked nervously, "is there a way we could somehow...fly over the forest? I could levitate at least one pony with me while I fly out..."

@@arkman575, Bliss took a deep breath and calmed down to focus on breathing and staying warm. "Ok Seth...I'll...bb-be right here..." She shivered and placed her large fluffy end of her tail on top of her to help keep warm. She watched nervously as Seth disappeared to search for firewood, as she was left alone with the strange book in front of her. Well it wouldn't hurt for this read to keep me distracted...but...something is obviously important about it, otherwise...Why did Boom want it? She pondered the question as she lifted the cover, after acknowledging the fact it was about 'vampires', maybe facts lore and legend, she was so shaken up she read only what really mattered to her, "vampires". Why would she care about what ponies say about vampires in stories? Far as other ponies know, vampires don't exist- As she read the first paragraph, she became entranced with how diligent the writing was, in the detail about 'vampire ponies', their culture and life style. That mostly they only feed once a year to keep up their strength, and have all the powers as she assumed they would have...but the way it was written...it almost felt like she was reading the writings of a vampire aurthor. "This is...uncanning...Vampires used to be a culture in Equestria?"

Well ya since Bliss's wings are frozen, more likely we'll start a fire in the woods to thaw them out before they fall off her lol and talk about the previous incident at what happened when they last had a vampire at the cabin *squee* @@Bada3oom Box, I have a question, since Seth gave me the book to look over, do you want me to find the prophecy about the Princess Vampire? I know the rest of the book is in partly a different language, but you know how alicorn magic can be when its next to something important lol. Anyways I can find the prophecy and talk about it, or leave it as a secret till Boom lets us know.

@, Bliss had enough of Blaze's high and mighty views on how to 'deal' with insults or ponies that come their way. Acting like he was above it only made her think he was too high on his castle. Not everypony is emotionaless against insults. But rather then nag at him in a pointless rant that obviously he was not going to budge from in his opinion, she snorted at him and turned away, following Raze and the others into the Everfree forest. "So Raze?" She trotted up to the zebra as he held the map in his hoof, "what path are these notes going to lead us to? I might have some knowledge on the locals in the forest. I worked once with a group of small forest drakes once."
