I was worried that it would be disappointing but I was wrong. Animation was great, the songs were enjoyable , love the new characters and the story while somewhat predictable was good also. I'll definitely be checking out the series. Also Izzy is best G5 pony hands down. If you like Kimiko's voice acting be sure to check out Centaurworld also on Netflix because she voices Horse.

Overall enjoyable because I've already watched it twice

I don't despise china but they definitely didn't do the world any favors lying about the virus and actively suppressing the information about how bad it was.

china is like that guy at work that comes in with the flu and passes it off as "just allergies" and makes everyone sick.

did you forget that Trump tried to ban travel from china early and they called him a racist? and now that the USA is shut down they are crying that he didn't act fast enough to ban travel. before the pandemic we had record low unemployment and everything was trucking along great. not to mention china lied about the pandemic and how bad it was until it had already spread to other countries

I thought it was hilarious watching celebs in their lavish mansions and their millions of dollars and servants to do everything complaining about how terrible it is to have to stay at home while tens of millions of regular americans can't afford to pay bills.but please tell us peasants how hard it is to stay home and have to use your own personal bowling alley and race track LOL

people take what celebs say way to seriously and celebrities have such big heads they think we should all listen to every word like they are gods speaking to us.

I really don't care much about politics, both sides say whatever you want to hear and promise big changes to get themselves elected then they sit around for 4 years not really doing anything except serving the special interests and lobbyists. Congress is even worse because they don't have term limits so they'll latch onto a seat for decades doing nothing but argue and voting themselves raises

With the UV editor window active, you should be able to hit G and move that spiderweb around as a big unit, which will change where the pupil shows up on the eyeball. There's a lot of 'hopefully's and 'if we're lucky's in this, because I'm still getting used to this new interface myself and it's easy to get lost and find your way into a deep pit of confusion.

2) the 'if you have a hammer, everything can be a nail' approach.  Add a Texture Coordinate node in like above, but instead connect the Object output of that to a Mapping Node, and the output of *that* to the vector input of the Image node:

Then futz with the various settings of the mapping node to move the pupil about. You kinda have to brute force it at this point.

I'm using the most recent version. it's different enough to the point of when they say to "click this button" in.the video the button is not there in my version it's somewhere else.

What you need, is likely UV mapping. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UV_mapping)  

You've already figured out basic shaders according to your post, and so I'll skip to that. I'm not sure where the SFM model 'landed' when you imported, or what state it's in. So we're gonna need some information. The material nodes for the eyeball... does it have an Image Node with the pupil .png loaded into it? Is the vector of the Image Node connected to a Texture Coordinate node? If it is, is it connected to the UV output, Object output, or Generated output?

Basically, the 'vector' input on a node sets up the direction of the shader, where it sits on the mesh. You want a Texture Coordinate node to tell the shader what the direction is. For images, the most useful Coordinate (though possibly the most complicated) is the UV mapping. But this depends on the eyeball object having the UV 'unwrapped', and I need to know if the import of the SFM model actually retained that, or if it just scrapped it and is locating the image 'raw' without any vectoring.

 

This is as close as I can get it, if I add texture coordinates they don't change it, when I add mapping it turns black and adjusting xyx doesn't change it. pretty much everything I have tried besides this set up breaks it. I think it is loading the pupil larger than the eye hole or something

the eyes are 2 different png files, one for the whites of the eye and another for the pupil

Blender is one of those programs that works really great if you made the model yourself, and did ever step correctly. If something was done in the wrong scale, everything just starts falling apart.

the problem I'm running into is a lot of the videos are older videos shown on old versions of blender and the buttons aren't where they used to be and the user interface is different.

I enjoyed the movie style in both movies they did

alright so I don't know anything about blender but I am trying to bring a sfm pony model into blender. I'm 16 hours in and I have flailed around enough to where I have figured out how to import the files and figured out how to use nodes to fill in the colors and hair.

what's tripping me up now is trying to load the .png file for the pupils of the eyes. they load WAY to far forward and make her look ridiculously cross eyed. how do I move them to a normal position?

sit down you young ponies at my great wall of text and let this old brony tell you a story about his time in the early days of the G4 fandom long ago LOL

way back in the early days of the brony fandom I was a member of the my little pony arena "the G1 forum" and I had a good time talking to everypony and all was well for months until I changed my listed gender to male, that's when the mods started giving me a hard time "they are incredibly sexist against males who like my little pony" and they suddenly started deleting my posts and topics, they would take my posts and bury them in old threads, make up unwritten stupid rules I had supposedly broken ect. then things got worse when I changed my avatar to Derpy hooves which turned out to not be allowed "another unwritten rule" because they thought she was offensive to cross eyed people.  and they gave me even more trouble than ever before.

well it wasn't long before I got tired of being harrassed and singled out for being a male and liking derpy so I decided I would leave in a spectacular fashion.

The moderators and prominent members had a separate forum that no one was allowed to talk about called the ponyland catfights forum in which they would cruelly make fun of and bash members of the mlp arena behind their backs while being nice to their face on the mlp arena.

they would do things like compliment people's art on the arena and then repost the thread in catfights and make fun of them and call them names,  make fun of personal appearance, make derogatory statements based on people's gender, or belittle members over simple mistakes and call them derogatory names. The mods and some longs standing members where in fact bullies

all while the members were unaware of all this and kissed the mods butts because they was so "nice and hardworking."

Obviously the mods and some long standing members were two faced sexist bullies and I hated seeing them welcome new members in the mlp arena and then proceeded to make fun of them in the catfights forum, ESPECIALLY the male members and bronies. who they especially hated because they saw my little pony as their own personal female only domain

If you was unfortunate enough to set your gender as male you could expect them to make fun of you in catfights and probably harass you for breaking some made up unwritten rule

any mention of the catfights forum on the arena would be removed immediately because the mods had conveniently made it against the rules.

so what I did was I spent an hour searching every member they had been making fun of on the catfights forum and then found them on the mlparena and PMed them a link to the thread about them, I think I managed 15 or 20 before the mods found out and banned me. 

unfortunately for them though this caused a huge uproar in the forum with all the members finding out that the "super nice and friendly" mods had been secretly making fun of them and saying some REALLY nasty things about them. and it's that dumpster fire I left behind.

I did notice the mods changed their user names on catfights though "yes they was stupid enough to use the same user name on both forums"

Silent always, and I just turned amber alerts off to because it went off at 2am and woke me up.

it's a game of chicken between getting a vaccine and medicine on the market and total economic collapse. we should do ok as long as the government keeps the stimulus money coming but I think we are in for a pretty brutal couple months at least. open everything up to soon and millions of people wind up in the hospital and a ton of people die, stay closed to long and things start to collapse

I loved this episode! all the new expressions, luna , just all around a great episode!

so this is it, the beginning of the end. not gonna lie i'll probably shed some tears when G4 ends. I have been with it since the beginning "technically before it since pony tales" and it has been a fun and wild ride and I am going to miss it when its gone.

they sure did pack a lot in these 2 episodes, it's a good start to the end and I loved it, especially since I am old enough to remember when the ponies fought Grogar the first time back in G1.
