I am the same as you in regard that daily life has absorbed most of my available time to meditate, so I pretty much try whatever position I can... I find the traditional sitting straight pose works best for me personally though...
I meditate when I encounter an extreme problem or I'm under extreme pressure. It's the weirdest feeling, like you're numb but not at the same time, and it's quite enjoyable.
