      don't let your fears stop you from going ahead, the only way to improve is to do it regardless. Besides, based on all your other work, I'd say "bad" is a very inaccurate description of your work. :P

      Like I say, practice is the key. Try starting with just a bunch of scrap paper, and play with the basic shapes of the characters in rough copy before you give the actual piece a go. breaking 3D things down into basic shapes can help to get them looking right.
