Rally Flag: "Thanks for the chance. Wouldn't mind a tour of Ponyville either, if you've got some spare time. Gotta find a place to live, after all."

Rally Flag: "Guards swear loyalty to the crown of Equestria, which means Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and any others who rule our fair land. Wondering why a soldier wouldn't also swear loyalty to Princess Celestia."

Rally Flag: "I'm happy to try it. Sounds like good hard work to me, which is what I'm after."

Rally Flag: "Well, taking the brunt of a manticore attack in the line of duty left me thinking that it was time to retire from the royal guard and seek something a little safer. Time to settle down and maybe find that special somepony. Ponyville sounded like a nice place to live, especially since it's not filled with uptight ponies whom I would be liable to give a good kicking for a poor reason." *gives Applejack a friendly smile* "I was interested in working on the farm because it's good hard work, as opposed to sitting in a store all day. If you don't have any room I understand, but maybe you know someplace else that does?"

Rally Flag: "I could say that it was part of my job to keep tabs on those who were often with Princess Celestia, for security reasons. Admittedly you stood out, and I remember thinking I'd like to spend some time with you. Perhaps now that you've reformed, we can do just that."

Rally Flag: "Huh, I seem to remember you hanging around Princess Celestia when I used to serve in the royal guard. You seemed much nicer then, are you going back to that kind of mare?"

Rally Flag: "Nightmare Blackhawk? Looks like somepony needs a good kick in the head to snap him out of it."

Rally Flag: "Excuse me miss, I'd just like to ask if you have any work on your farm. You see, I'm new here in Ponyville. Just moved here from Canterlot now that I'm no longer a member of the royal guard, and I'm trying to find some honest work." *holds out a hoof in greeting* "My name is Rally Flag, by the way."

Heh, thanks everyone for such a warm welcome! Admittedly the avatar is part of a commission I got to act as a reference for Rally Flag. For the most part I just gave a basic written description plus some features I wanted him to have, and allowed the artists some freedom for choices. I'm very happy with how he turned out. Sounds good to me. Apparently there's a minimum character limit. Do I need to write to Princess Celestia to tell her what I learned?

I'm new here, obviously. I guess it should be interesting to see how this turns out. Not sure what else to post.
