I sketched up Pinkie Pie being sad, which I then outlined and vectorized which you can see down below. Decided against anything additionally fancy in the image since it didn't need it.

Paper Towel Brand You Use?

Well some people like to make sure they have paper towels around, and apparently, Bounty can clean up any ol' mess... especially ones that are covered in Beans. -
Paper Towel Brand You Use?
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to Discointhe90s's topic in General Discussion
You... you use paper towels to wipe your ass... and not toilet paper? I'm quite flabbergasted to read that, truly I am! As for me, cheap stuff. It doesn't matter in the end, it's usually meant for cleaning up or napkin job, not like I'm going to wipe it on myself... -
No, you shouldn't stop drawing. You just need to get better and better at your work. Yes, it is hard at first, but over time you'll get better at it. It took me over a year to properly learn how to make things look appropriate on a figure, whether pony or otherwise, and even longer to make them unique. It'll just take some time to get there for you. Here, have this pic I found that shows how to draw ponies, it should be able to help you out:

It's a request from Snowdream to give her OC a Gala dress. It's designed around snow and ice, with hills of snow in the back end and the sleek ice in the chest and arm area. She also has a snowflake neck choker and a nice, simple braided bandana. I'll have a vectorized version of it all cleaned up and colored when I get the chance to, which I'll post when it's done. Edit: I've finished the image with the lineart and the vector.

You shouldn't concern yourself with finding ways to get subscribers. Instead, make an appealing channel that people would enjoy to watch and you enjoy doing. That's how you'll be getting people to watch and stay. As for actual content you need, there's plenty of things you can try. Many people like to make specialized content, such as cartoons or music. Maybe you can try your hand at that. There's always the Minecraft route. You could try making a 1:1 scale Canterlot, or other places with friends or by yourself if you'd prefer, or maybe even doing custom stories based around ponies. Narrating stories over on FimFic or other story sites is another thing. You could choose to do some silly oneshots, lengthy stories, or purposely do horrible stories and point out faults (though you better know those faults very well). Voice work is getting somewhat popular, though you best have a good range of vocals and variety on your different characters you do. You could always criticize things pony related, whether it be the shows and movies of past (haven't seen anyone do this yet) and current gens, peoples stories, art, and cartoons, or pony related video games. Attempt to make skits out in real life, much like Smosh does. Don't forget, you don't need to do everything with ponies, some variance in material is always good. And you should make sure your personality is very expressive, interesting to see or listen to, and not too annoying to viewers, but make sure people can actually hear you and see you properly.

Clever use of the wings so you can hide the cutie mark, thus making it so you don't need to draw them and both save you time and the trouble of drawing it precisely. I won't argue on the style of your art, since that's your thing, but the wings feel off to me. There's no roundness to them, they feel too sharp and contrasting compared to the rest of the body. Oh... and there's no eyelashes either. Why does everyone forget the eyelashes? But other than those two things, I quite like this. Using her cutie mark as the backdrop is probably my favorite thing about this image too.
-
I really like the body that you did on her, and the hair is nice, poofy, and lively to look at. It is strange seeing a green backdrop to Pinkie, but I can see why you did it, so there's something that makes her pop out more to the viewer. The only thing I dislike is the head, which I feel is too wide, mostly on the right side of her face. Moving that in, maybe curving it a little more as well would do wonders on this image. Also, you didn't add any eyelashes so she appears less girly, especially with her uniquely shaped head. And, this is just my own personal preference, but I don't think eyebrows are needed so long as the eyelashes are present, or in the very least thin them out.

music Best Video Game Soundtracks
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to Discordian's topic in Media Discussion
I think one of the best openings for a game has to be "If You Still Believe" from the game, Legend of Dragoon. It's such a great song to listen to. Makes me sad that it never got big in the gaming world for an RPG series, only staying as small as it is. This would make a great game for the new Sony consoles; think of all that great touchscreen controlling for when you attack!- 866 replies

IF mlp had an offical cross over?
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to FNGRpony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I can see maybe My Littlest Pet Shop crossing over into the MLP:FiM universe, where the animals go over there for some time. Other than that, I just can't see Hasbro allowing such a crossover to happen to many IP's out there, not unless it's from their own work. Of course, this could change depending on what shows get on the Hub in the future. Maybe they get access to some DC IP's and start making new Superdog shows or some other silly thing where it would be feasible for a crossover, even if it was just for a quick little scene. There could also be silly little add ins, such as maybe an anime has a character wearing a Pinkie Pie shirt in one episode, I can possibly see that happening as well. -
which pony would handle humans the best? The worst?
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to FNGRpony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
It's actually strange since I write stories based around this idea, sometimes mixing it up on how things go in my head. It really depends on how the human comes to the character and the circumstances that are happening when they pop up. Without anything bad happening or with nothing to hurt the imagery of the human and completely relying on how the human acts, Celestia should be the easiest to handle anything that happens should a human come out of nowhere. Rose would be the one pony that would handle it the absolute worst, possibly making things even worse than should anyone else had seen the human. -
I see the Mastermind, Enforcer, Technician, and Ghost are in this lineup. I'm somewhat confused by the other two; are they perhaps undercover agents that supplied info to the others?
-
At least it's a nice, simple fix right? Better than accidentally placing something in the wrong place and realizing you have to redraw everything from scratch due to how abnormal it should look. I personally prefer my Photo Finish to have a background akin to this comic right here:
-
I've done that before too. They're a headache when you forget such a small, yet important detail. God, I remember one time I accidentally forgot to give a character proper eyes! They looked dull and lifeless, peering into the viewers eyes...
-
I like the art style you've drawn them in, and especially like how you bordered them in with that universe imagery in the background. Though I have to ask... why doesn't Whooves have a cutie mark? Is that part of your ask tumblr thing or just an oversight?

game Should I get World Of Warcraft?
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to Huntress's topic in Media Discussion
I used to play WoW for a good few months with my friends. It was a blast playing with them and we soon leveled up our characters, going through raids and such. I preferred healing over most of the fighting, definite favorite class. Once they stopped playing for one reason or the other, I attempted to continue on. It is not an enjoyable game without friends, I found. I definitely prefer playing with others since we made up much of the stories, goofing off and having fun. Without them, you sort of realize you're doing nothing but killing X amount of creatures and turning the quest in, only to do the same thing ten minutes later. Or maybe you're collecting X amount of items, and once more, turning that in. It's dull, repetitive, and unless you're a die hard fan of the franchise, will get boring very soon. Yes, there are interesting things to still find, but you'll do nothing but have kill/collect quests the entire way. I've played other games with them later on. A good game to try out is Star Wars The Old Republic Online. It's not only free completely, but you can play full campaigns by yourself that are very interesting and extremely long for each one (it's even got that Mass Effect style of character decision making, so you can choose to be good, bad, or neutral!). My favorite was the bounty hunter class, and once more, healing. It's got so many unique things about it like the family class system to customization of armor and weapons. And while this game does have kill/collect quests, they tune them in a way that has each of them being extremely unique (it also helps that you go from world to world, so it's very varied on what you kill and collect instead of having nothing but recolored enemies in each place to kill for the next quest). You can still play with friends in that game as well and have huge parties or, and this is my favorite part, invite them to your own ship and travel with you! If you ever want to take your character and fight them against others or go on fun online fights, that's when the monthly subscription comes into play. The subscription still comes with other things of course and it's still a very cheap subscription, so I think it's a very fair deal. -
Goodness, it's been a long time since I've seen this character around! I nearly forgot she existed! No, I'm not bagging on her, just genuinely surprised to see her pop out of nowhere. Not a lot of people give her as much attention for a side character like they do with Gilda or Trixie. That's too bad, she makes for an interesting antagonist to Rainbow Dash. I personally don't know if they'll ever show her again in the show since she only appeared for that one thing with the Wonderbolts, but I bet with some ingenuity, they can bring her back to Ponyville or some other place and either challenge Dash for some reason or maybe even come in as a support character. And of course, the obligatory comic that is complete genius with Dust in it.

gaming Favourite alternate costumes in gaming?
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to QuirkyUsername's topic in Media Discussion
Personally, I like games that make use of alternative costumes like they're powers. I know not many people cared for the Dress Sphere, but I thought it was a great feature in Final Fantasy X-2. Being able to switch out how someone fights by giving them a new costume is an enormous amount of fun to play around with. I sort of wish there were other games out there that does this sort of thing. In fact, are there? Does anyone here know of any other games that do this? -
Putting to much stock in negative reactions
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to FNGRpony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
People should not judge a person by what they like, but what they do and what makes them who they are, not by appearances. Liking someone because they're found to like the series is a ridiculous thing to do. I would not like the Uni-bomber if he had been shown to be a fan of Spiderman. I'd be a very stupid person to do so! I would never go to his defense thinking, "Well, this guy can't be that bad! I mean, he likes Spiderman! Let us go to his defense and show him support due to our shared interests!" Now, it's alright to be entertained by the idea someone likes such a thing, and if you like the person already, then that's great. Otherwise, seeing someone like George W. Bush hugging a plushy of Fluttershy would not get me to like him, not one bit. -
There would be absolutely no reason for the EqG universe to have EoH seeing as magic isn't a thing there, and those things need to be used partially through magic. Also, that crown Sunset left behind looked like garbage. Another thing to point out is if that was for some inane reason the human variation to the Element of Magic, I'm pretty certain it would've taken her quite a bit of effort acquiring it. Why would she do all that work just to replace it with the one she wants? I doubt there's now two crowns that work as the Element of Magic.

Hello Everyone (Once Again!)
Hazardus-Havard V.2 replied to Hazardus-Havard V.2's topic in Welcome Plaza
Yes, I remember that singing video. That was more entertaining that it had any right to be. Personally wouldn't mind seeing more of those videos. Also, I find it hard to believe that you are in fact JonTron himself, no matter how neat that in fact would be. -

I certainly am. Just perusing around the threads for the time being though since I'm currently watching Gaki No Tsukai at the moment. By the way, your avatar pic made me sad. JonTron hasn't done a video in so long...
