  1. Unless it's a wall of text about a subject that interests me, well, then I'd probably skip it too. Especially if they're badly structured, like mine..
  2. Hmmm, I think I'll have to install this again. I had way too much fun with it a couple of months ago, especially with the pony mod collection. It will be fun to see if the artillery hate is as strong as it was back then. I mostly played artillery since it's the only one I can play decently. I'll have to take a look at the patch notes as the changes sound intriguing.
  3. Well, there's the basic Tribal Wars and Travian, I think that's the name. Somewhat simple games. Build up a village, conquer others and all that. Game keeps going when you log out. Despite the fact that strategy games are the ones I play the most, I don't really know that many mmorts games. You can find something called Dawn of Fantasy: Kingdom Wars on steam. As far as I know, it's about building a castle that can withstand the assault from other players. Iron Grip: Maurauders is also a possibility. Don't know too much about it though. I haven't tried either of those, so I can't recommend them. The Epic Quest for Mighty Loot looks promising to me. I might try it myself later. Defiance has been mentioned earlier, and I agree with that recommendation. It is quite fun. Thorough research is obviously advised before acquiring any of those titles. My taste may not be the same as yours.
  4. Ha ha ha! Oktoberfest! I swear, Robin Atkin Downes is a genious. I'm still learning the ropes of the game. I haven't played MVM yet, and haven't really unlocked anything except a few things that I can't even remember. It is very addicting, and I suspect that I will play a lot more of it.
  5. Never been a big fps player. Singleplayer tends to be very linear, which is somehting I'm not that fond of, and I suck at multiplayer in most fps games due to my poor eyesight. However, I do have some favourites. Spent a lot of time with C&C Renegade back in the day. The Doom games also brings back nostalgia. My absolute favourite is most likely Planetside 2 though. It allows me to play a class that isn't purely combat oriented, focusing more on support, and the scale is amazing. That combination makes PS2 perfect for me. I mostly play as a medic. Recently started playing TF2, and I must say that I'm hooked. Mostly playing as a medic here as well.
  6. Too bad. I'm mainly playing TR on Woodman, and Vanu on Waterson. There should be a pony outfit on Waterson if I remember correctly. On topic. Is there any specific genre you're interested in? Roleplay, strategy, first person shooters?
  7. I know I mentioned it, but it's only a good thing that it's mentioned twice. At least in my opinion. What server do you play on, and what's your faction? On topic. There's also Lord of the Rings Online, but I don't know what it's like right now. It's been a while since I've played it. There's also a plethora of smaller mmorpgs that may not be known by the general public. Eden Eternal is an example, the only one I can remember, but you probably have to an anime fan to play that one.
  8. lordav Well hello there. Yes I do play Total War games, quite a lot actually, and I agree that it is the best strategy game series out there, to me at least. I'm quite fond of the general idea behind the game. Empire management with tactical battles you control yourself. The perfect combo for a control freak like me. Having some fun with Rome 2 at the moment. It certainly has its flaws, but I'm currently running with the beta patch, and it's getting there. Zygen Ohhh, a fellow brother/sister in long windiness. I doubt my state as a cursed being as well. I've only killed two forums so far, fim.org and a danish pokemon forum that got back up again a month later. The rest probably died on their own since they were very small inactive ones. But it makes me think that I'm special, so please do not take that away from me. Kidding of course. I'm certain that I'm in good company here. This seems to be a nice place with nice decent people. Not that I'd be scared away if it had been more like the harsher forums, but it's nice to be amongst people that won't yell and scream at you for no apparent reason. Isn't it a wonderful thing to express yourself in a myriad of ways? I must confess that I am very guilty of all the things you mentioned yourself, very guilty indeed. My initial introduction may not have been as long and dreary as I could have made it, but as mentioned in the last part of it, I'm actually proud I could keep it that short. Five minutes after I had posted that thing I could already think of several things I could have posted as well, and they would all take up way moire space than they would need. Despite all the drama I've experienced caused by the show alone, I still love it too, and will most likely continue to do so when season 4 is over. Unless they utterly butcher it, but I don't think that will be the case. I'll stick around for as long as I can. I'll definitely enjoy the discussions, but the people, well, we'll have to see about that one. Anyways, thank you for the welcome.
  9. Currently playing Planetside 2, an mmofps, might not be what you're looking for, but I find it enjoyable. I tried some Warframe, but it seemed somewhat confusing to me, so I didn't go any further with it. World of Tanks is enjoyable too, and so is Star Wars the Old republic. I've got an account on both, not playing either that much at the moment though. They are all free to try.
  10. TwistedShadow Well, two cursed members might do the trick, but I hope that isn't the case. Thank you for the welcome. TheSupremeLeaderOfChaos What can I say, I enjoy writing and talking, even though you mightr not believe that if you met me. As stated by TwistedShadow above, his curse hasn't kicked in yet, so I don't think mine will either. Hopefully. Nothing more relaxing than sitting back with a snack and enjoy a good storm of excrements. I find it sad, tragic, entertaining and most interesting all at the same time. Well, I find those genres to be the most interesting as they give the writer more freedom to whatever they want. I've got no problem with books or movies in our own world and time, but there's greater potential in fantasy and sci fi in my opinion. I believe you have found one of my greater weaknesses by posting those gifs. I am currently drooling so much right now that I risk dehydration. Please refrain from posting cute stuff, that will be the end of me, even though I've survived it so far. I swear, this fandom is constantly trying to kill me. I had a look at your profile and must applaud your choice of anime. Both of those you have mentioned were a joy to watch. I believe good sir/madam/ms/mr/it that we will get along just fine. PS. I might have to steal parts of your profile layout, it's very nice. Wingnut I consider myself lazy in a good way. Allow me to demonstrate. I'm playing some random game or watching a movie. I suddenly feel the urge for a snack of some sort. I only have to go to the kitchen to get it. I won't do it since I'm too lazy to do it. A second later, I'm asked to go out to the very same kitchen to do the dishes or something like that. I'll do it because it has to be done, and I might as well be the one to do it, and people will rightfully get mad if I just sit on my hindquarters all day playing games.. No, I don't grab the snack when I'm done. I feel both ashamed and delighted when writing a wall of text. Ashamed because I simply cannot control myself. Delighted because I love to write it, and I like to see who's insane enough to read it. Fine ponies they are indeed, as are the rest of the mane 6, as well as a lot of the background characters. It just comes down to personal taste, which should be respected. HydroAmbience Much appreciated. I am quite sure I will enjoy my time here. And lazy, lazy one or LZ as I was apparently called by Wingnut will suffice. At least as long as I'm not confused with a landing zone.
  11. Intro Greetings my fellow fans/supporters/lovers of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I have chosen to go by the name "the lazy one" since someone had the audacity to take my favourite username, that being Lazy, before me. The nerve. Whoever you are, I salute you for being lazy yet faster than me. My primary reason for being here is to see if my curse will hit this place too. A few of the forums I've joined in the past suddenly died not long after my appearance, fim.org being one of them. I'm also here for some pony and social interaction too of course. Me Now to present myself, or rather, to present what kind of individual I am. You might want to run now, this might be a long boring ride. My punctuation is probably rather poor, but I'll do my best. Go to the bottom for a TL;DR version. I am a 22 years old, I think, brony from Denmark, and I have been a brony since the wait between season one and two. So I have been with this fandom through both good and bad, a lot of both. I have been enjoying my time in this fandom ever since I joined it, even through all the drama which I actually find somewhat interesting. I obviously enjoy MLP:FiM and I must declare Applejack as my favourite pony, with Twilight as a close second. I enjoy a lot of the things this fandom can cook up, and will continue to do so I believe. I am also an avid fanboy of Warhammer, both fantasy and 40K, I'm mostly into 40K though. I'm a follower of Tzeentch in both versions. I have a great love for games, strategy and rpgs in particular, and give me an open world or sandbox game and I'll go nuts. I enjoy many other genres, but those are probably my favourites. Currently playing Total War Rome 2, GTA V, Planetside 2 and several mods for Medieval 2 Total War. Reading is also a passion of mine which I choose to spend with mostly fantasy, and science fiction novels. My taste in movies is pretty much the same as my taste in books. Discussing and debating any number of topics is also something I enjoy. Keeping in mind that I'm not a great philosopher, free thinker, scholar or scientist I'll discuss anything from cute pastel coloured ponies to the meaning of life. I do like to keep things civil and calm when debating, I'd rather avoid anyone calling each other names or anything like that. I'm not big on any sports. I just exercise by taking walks, running and a lot of cycling. I can't do anything that involves balls as my eyesight is somewhat poor. My apologies I have most likely forgotten something, but I that's alright, it just means you're of the hook for the moment. I have serious problem since I cannot keep things short, as you might have guessed by now. I hide my lack in intelligence with grandiose words.. I'll try to control myself from now on. Sorry. I'm actually proud I could make it this so short. TL;DR Hi, I'm the lazy one, a pleasure to meet you all. I'm a nice and calm individual, and hopefully I'll enjoy my time here. PS. I used far too much time on this thing. PPS. Oh how I love these smileys.
