they bow to the princess even ponies you would expect such formality from like Pinkie and Rainbow Dash do it. They hold gala's to commemorate alot of things. They almost always use full names when addressing another pony. Formal titles are always used and never skipped in sessions. they hoofshake to seal a deal. (even spit on the hoof in the case of RD and AJ)

none whatsoever, i have better all-terrain ability and I can literally live off the land. I'd spend the rest of my life exploring stuff. Life would be awesome. XD

They can be trained to ignore that. Warhorses riden by knights for example. Equestria does have a military but it is probably alot smaller now than it has been in the past. What remains of it exists purely to defend the Princesses. There's also the fact that Equestria has two standing armies. They Day Guard and the Night Guard. The Night Guard are more active in seeking out threats to Equestria and (no-surprise) operate at night. Luna also actively leads them which was probably common back in the day and is just a tradition she hasn't given up (and a legit reason we almost never see her in the show). The comics imply she leads monster hunts for creatures that may threaten the ponies of outlying regions and possibly be the reason why we never see the Day Guard active outside of Canterlot. The night guard also seems to have more pegesi in there ranks. The Day Guard seem to exist as a purely defensive army in contrast to the Night Guard. Its ranks also seem to have alot more unicorns in it. Which makes sense given Canterlot is mostly a unicorn city and the location of the School for Gifted Unicorns, and naturally the Day Guard probably use defensive spells much like Shining Armour does.

Some bronies fight fire with fire. And i'm not gonna lie, it amuses me greatly just how bent out of shape some people get over ponies. I could probably shoot them in the leg or something and still get no reaction like i would if a posted a picture of Rainbow Dash eating a sandwich.

Twilight could fly faster, but she can't control it. yet. Twilight lacks RD's years of experience and to be fair, might not quite match natural talent for it. show the picture of filly dash doing it. She's grinning her face off. XD

Well Dash was going full speed a dozen times in her practice and never once broke the sound barrier, the same barrier as a filly she broke though with ease. There are a few instances of Ponies going beyond their normal speed in extreme stress. Rarity falling to her death bing the case for RD. Fluttershy is also a fast flier (and this is praise from RD here) but she can only do it if an animal is in imminent danger. Even Earth Ponies experience this as Maud's 0-100 hoofs to that rock is anything to go by.

Sorta like the diskworld books. The speed of light on the diskworld is lower than regular lightspeed because it is lazy. Rainbow Dash is certainly one of the best fliers in Equestria and the fastest when activating the Sonic Rainboom, but that isn't to say theirs not a griffion or dragon out their that has the right combination of body size/wing ratio to fly faster than she does. The Sonic Rainboom is about speed to a point. For Pegesi it seems whatever magic that lets them fly will only break the sound barrier when certain conditions are met.
