  1. @@ovr9000percentcooler, Clockwork had taken on a more serious expression. He didn't show it, but inside, he felt a chaotic mixture of fear, anger, and loathing. "This pony must die.. I knew I should have gotten out of here when I had the chance." He glanced to Media. "I think it would be best.. if we left this place... Come." His voice was bitter. "They're referring to me.. I'm certain of it.. I need to get out of here now." He turned and began filing his way through the crowd, and looked for the closest alleyway.
  2. @@Lucid Dream, @, Suit's heart sank with the outright attacks on his mental state. Being told he needed to be put into an asylum wasn't a first, but it still stung to hear it. His ears folded back. "Lucid's thoughts become clouded with our presence.. We aren't behind anything besides the eyes in our head and the words from our mouth.. Hmmhmm. What lies within is pure as the water we drink. We are not any more insane than the world we live within.. Mhmm heheHAHAHA!!!" He quickly cupped his hooves over his mouth, feeling conscious of his loud laughter suddenly. He knew it wasn't going to help his situation, but he couldn't control it. "Apologies.." He continued to hide behind Selune, worried of the unicorn's refusal to lower his defenses. Suit Twister had no intention of being on the receiving end of a magical burst if he could help it.
  3. Clockwork Green @@Commander Tangent, Clockwork raised a brow at the request. "Hmm, I wish I did, perhaps I have something related though.." He thought. "I don't carry medical devices unfortunately. However, I do have some things that will prevent you from requiring any medical care. Illusion bombs, smoke screens, and all manor of designs for things I cannot carry with me at the moment." He smiled. -------------------------- Midnight Scribbler @, Scribbler chuckled as Willow frantically rustled about in her bag for some coins. He placed a reassuring hoof on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Willow. I'm sure I have enough for us both. I'll cover you.. And I doubt we'll have much to worry out, it's broad daylight, and the streets are busy." Just then they'd wandered up by a large building displaying a buffet. The sign read "10 bits, all you can eat" And it looked to be of much better quality than that seedy cafe. Nothing special, but not too shabby either. "What do you think of this place, Willow? Looks alright to me."
  4. HEHEHEEE! Of course! Suit Twister has many.. Hmmhmm. *hands you a large piece of paper with a swirl pattern in ink.
  5. @@Commander Tangent, Clockwork stopped, a broad grin crossing his face while he was still facing the other way. "HA, that did it." He changed his expression to a more serious one before turning to face the pony calling his name. Glancing up, seeing Icarus, he trotted back towards him. "How can I be of assistance? Clockwork Green is the name, maker of gadgets and assorted tools and weapons."
  6. @@ovr9000percentcooler, Clockwork raised a brow, then smiled. "You could say that. I have troubles selling my inventions at times. They tend to receive a fairly lukewarm response most times, I believe ponies think I'm trying to take away their special abilities or something. Which of course is utterly ridiculous." He chuckled. "What is going on here anyway, who is that on the podium? I've never seen him around.. And those masked ponies.. Seems rather ominous."
  7. @, I just posted in response to that, no worries. I got this. I was about 2 pages behind when I got home. Just finished scrolling through as much as I could.
  8. @, @@Commander Tangent, @, @@Frosty V, Clockwork Green Clockwork halted, having been completely ignored by the entire group he'd approached. His eyes slitted, and a sour expression crossed his face. He had been shunned, but never ignored so completely. He boiled with anger "Such ignorance.. Were I a stone, I'd have more presence to these fools." He waited for them to get a bit further ahead before he fanned his wings out. They sounded like a dozen swords being unsheathed at once. "Perhaps this will get their attention" He scowled, mentally daring them to keep walking. He then ran towards them, taking flight and buzzing just over their heads. He landed ahead of them, and began trotting off away from them towards what appeared to be a cafe, he couldn't tell yet at this distance. Two ponies stood outside, perhaps they'd be less unresponsive. Clockwork glanced over his shoulder to see if he'd incurred any response from the group behind him. @, Midnight Scribbler Scribbler felt Mirror's tail swipe his side as she wandered past. Was it intentional? He couldn't be certain, though it played in his mind nonetheless. He gazed at her a moment while she passed by, pondering this, then Willow came up from behind. He started off with her into the street, throwing his goggles over his eyes before stepping out. They looked around a bit before coming up to a cafe type place. It looked pretty seedy, and he wasn't sure why Willow had chosen to check this one out at first. She nudged him from behind, encouraging him to enter, but stayed behind. "What's up with this mare?" "If you don't want to go in here, I'm sure there are other places we can go.. Look over the.. ooh my. Willow, let's go the other way, those bandits are here. Up past that one with the strange wings, I can see them." He turned around, and walked up beside Willow. "I'm sure there are plenty of better places to eat around here. This is the capitol city after all. Let's head up town a bit." He smiled at her, hoping to calm her nerves, she seemed to be on edge from the homeless ponies. He chuckled "Don't mind them.. Follow me." He began walking along the street towards the higher end district. "We'll have to come this way for magical items anyway."
  9. @@ovr9000percentcooler, Clockwork grinned broadly. This was the first interest anypony had shown in his baggage, perhaps he'd make a sale today after all.. Or at the very lease, make some contacts. "Ah, yes.. This. I carry many things in here, many of which for sale.. Oh, but where are my manners. My name is Clockwork Green. Creator of gadgets, mechanisms, tools and weaponry." He extended a hoof to shake, while using the other to undo his bag cover to open it up. "I have everything from blueprints to magitech batteries. My own personal inventions." He chuckled.
  10. @@ovr9000percentcooler, Clockwork had been busily storming the city, looking for buyers. His saddlebag was loaded up with devices and blueprints he'd been looking to sell. His searches were going nowhere, he'd nearly given up on it until he noticed a large gathering. "So this is where everypony has gotten to. No wonder I can't sell anything.. What's going on I wonder." He trotted up to the gathering, peering up at the stallion on the podium. Then began looking around for anypony who looked to be of the sort to spend bits on gadgets and tools. He bumped into Media Snap by accident "I'm terribly sorry, sir." He backed away, giving him room.
  11. @, I must say, I like the term "magitech" Good stuff. Food and such will likely be changing soon, once shopping gets done. I'll adjust my own lists to match the ones you've posted. And holy shheeeet. I've fallen so far behind. I think Clockwork got missed too, he spoke to Kingfisher and got ignored. I'm gonna be a while here before I get caught up again.

  13. @, @@Lucid Dream, Suit Twister cowered at the sight of the unicorn's shield powering up. He feared the pony's tone, thinking he had once again put himself in danger with his odd abilities. It wouldn't have been the first time somepony had stricken him for it, most were revolted by his presence after moments of contact. "N-no, We're sorry mr..Lucid.. mm.. we didn't mean to offend." He hid his head under his hooves. Selune's words comforted him, enough to come out again. "Y-yes.. Selune understands us..We are happy to help.." Looking back at the angry unicorn, he cringed with an awkward smile. "Thoughts cannot be ignored.. We cannot control it, it's just a part of our nature. As leaves on the trees follow the sun and a dance to the bees." He hoped this would diffuse the anger, but he kept his distance from the shimmering aura around the unicorn, hiding behind Selune, who had seemed to be much more pleasant to him. @@wakuboys, The mare turned around, finding the same pony from before asking yet more questions. "I don't know, I couldn't see anything from here. I saw a pegasus swoop in, and then something happened. I couldn't tell from here." She trotted off, looking for answers herself.
  14. @@Lucid Dream, He's meant to. lol I wrote in his OC profile that this was one thing he was known for. Most avoid him because they can't deal with his personality, and his psychic abilities usually cause fear because nopony likes having their thoughts read. He knows little self control for it either, he'll just blurt your thoughts out.
  15. Ugh, I don't wanna work today >.<

  16. @@SilverHeart, @, @, Midnight Scribbler Scribbler smiled at Willow, being somewhat indecisive at first. He simply nodded, then Mirror came to his side, asking for his company on the trip as well. "You're both welcome to join me, I've not been to this city in some time, though I'm sure I can remember my way well enough. I'd be happy to have the company either way." With that, he began to move towards the door slowly. "I'm heading to look for food first, I need to stock up for our next journey." He heard Mirror show interest in speaking with Orion, and for a moment, his heart sank. He paid the feeling no mind at first, though he hadn't expected it. Did he feel something for this mare? Perhaps, but there was little further to think on at this time, so he kept his mind on the task at hand. He went over his mental list once again, hoping he hadn't forgotten anything. An idea popped into his mind suddenly, but he kept it on the back burner at the moment. He added something new to his list, if he could locate what it was he had thought of. Clockwork Green Clockwork finished his apple, chucking the core off into a nearby waste bin. He flicked a piece of apple off his chin, before wandering around some more. He noticed a group of ponies wandering up towards the markets, a couple of rough looking ones headed the group. The white one looked to be in terrible condition, the other flicked a bag of coins into the air and caught it as she walked. He noticed a third pony come up and speak to her. He overheard something of an affair including "trouble". This was enough for him to think "Well, perhaps this could be my best opportunity today. They look like they could use some of Clockwork's services, perhaps I could sell them on something." He wandered over, next to Kingfisher, with his polished brass wings folded to his sides. "Greetings, I am Clockwork Green, inventor, innovator and creator of many unique designs. I couldn't help but overhear something of.. "troubles"? I thought I might be able to be of assistance. Perhaps if you have the time, could I interest you in a number of my weapons, tools and equipment? I will give demonstrations for anything you wish." He extended a hoof to her, smiling confidently and hoping for a positive response. He had no idea what this group had just gone through, his chances were likely a lot more slim than he thought.
  17. @, Hey man, I just wanted to let you know, I've posted my inventories if you hadn't seen them already. I just wanted to run them by you to make sure you're cool with everything I've put in. I'll edit accordingly if there's anything you're iffy about.
  18. @, @, @, @@SilverHeart, Midnight Scribbler Scribbler was worn out, the journey to Canterlot had taken much of his energy.. what was left of the little he had to begin with. There was a slight fear brewing in the back of his mind, having witnessed the strange weather events. He'd been paying attention to this the whole way, noting it's unusual nature. Having followed Orion, Willow, Mirror and Zintiik, he felt some form of comfort in the fact that they were all together, and now they could finally rest for a time. Though Scribbler felt like collapsing into a bed, he realized after Orion had mentioned picking things up, he needed to resupply his rations. He still had some things, but they wouldn't last. With a sigh, he nodded to Orion, smiling, then turned to Willow "We can go anywhere you like, Willow. I just need to pick up food, and maybe peruse the magical items in this city." He glanced back to Orion "I'll meet you back here." Clockwork Green Clockwork had been toying with his latest inventions, and was roaming the city for someplace to make a sale on his work. He strutted confidently down the street, passing by shops and stands. His brass wings glinted in the sunlight, and were chilled by the cool front that had set in. "Blast these things, I should have made them from something more cold resistant" He thought. His saddlebag was loaded with various things he'd been working on, and was toting blueprints and contracts. He knew his work was usually frowned upon by most, it always ended up in one race or another taking stands against his work, and the others sided with him, until he'd successfully offended each enough to be shunned. Nopony seemed to like the idea of spreading unique abilities to those who didn't have them. Earth ponies who could fly and use magic? Not by the watch of the pegasi, nor the unicorns. They would have none of it. And so, Clockwork went, his search in vain. "Ungrateful, wretched creatures.. None of them understand the wonders my work could bring them." "Pah!" He sputtered venomously. The thought had sickened him. He knew the only way to get his work out was to demonstrate, even if it meant destroying a couple lives for it in secret. He didn't want to tarnish his already terrible reputation any further. "Perhaps I should move to another city, starting from scratch in a new location might be best.. I'm getting nothing accomplished here." He muttered under his breath, as he stopped for a bite to eat. Dropping some bits into a basket, he picked out a couple of apples, stuffed one into his pack, and eating the other.
  19. @, I just read your question on Clockwork The level would be minimal things like a basic teleport, or a mild shockwave to blow enemies back while he escapes. Nothing too extravagant. He would also need time to modify his caster device to change the nature of the spell. It's automatically set to a teleport, which will only shoot him about 60' away from his current location. He can get about three teleports or one burst of shockwave before his battery dies. Flying, I'm counting as a sustainable spell, but it isn't immune to magic nullification, like the litany's aura.
  20. @, I'm glad you added the item posting, this will be a great addition to the RP. It makes it more of a challenge. I'll be keeping a note file with everything, and changing it as I use items. I'm so totally ready for this. Let's go cast some magical whoop ass!
  21. @@ovr9000percentcooler, I have to agree, well done. I like how it's somewhat like peta in a way, except for technology. XD
