  1. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Pinkie Pie, I do have to say I think this was my favorite episode so far. Or at the very least, one of them. I found it the most entertaining. All of the songs were absolutely fantastic, and there was just a wonderful energy to the whole episode. I personally felt it was pretty top notch.
  2. Yeesh. There is a wicked argument about the documentary going on in the FB group for bronies in my state.

  3. I like that now that I actually need Magic element pieces, the game has stopped giving them to me all together.

  4. Something that drives me crazy about this game. The clearable items not staying cleared. I'm not going to lie, the fact that they respawn is the most irritating thing to me.
  5. I played through Dishonored twice over break. I love this game. It's been so long since a game has made me this happy.

Is it an open-ended FPS/rpg kind of game?

It's more of a stealth platformer kind of game, with action and RPG elements. You can shoot and kill your way through it if you want, and there are powers you can purchase.

  6. Damn it, tumblr. Spoiler tags. Use them. Getting real tired of that.

  7. "War does not determine who is right; only who is left." -Bertrand Russell. "Love is just a chemical. We give it meaning by choice." - Eleanor Lamb. "Humans are cowards in the face of happiness." - Momoko, in the film Kamikaze Girls "Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you!" - Monty Python and the Holy Grail "We read fantasy to find the colors again, I think. To taste strong spices and hear the songs the siren sang. There is something old and true in fantasy that speaks to something deep within us, to the child that dreamt one day he would hunt the forests of the night, and feast beneath the hollow hills, and a love to last forever somewhere south of Oz and North of Shangri-La. They can keep their Heaven. When I die, I'd sooner go to Middle Earth." - George R.R. Martin. (From a longer quote, but I chose my favorite part to save space)
  8. Is Discord in my Ponyville? Sometimes when I go in there are new trees, new rocks or new roads. I have not built new roads. What is happening.

  9. Man. I really liked the season premiere, but was King Sombra the most underdeveloped villain we've had yet or what?

I'm going to call him King Sombrero from now on, because that's the amount of personality he had.

I think sombreros are very festive. King Sombra was anything but festive.

Indeed. I guess I liked his design. Cool moving shadowy dude. But, seriously, why was he taking over the Crystal Empire? For what reason? Detaaaails. I know you can only do so much in 40 minutes, but seriously. Ah well. I still enjoyed it, really.

  10. Apparently clearable items reappear in the GameLoft game? That's sort of annoying.

  11. Yeah, wow, PonyEcho was a little too extreme with that in my opinion. But he does raise a good point! I don't think this means Arin is a brony. Not as far as I know, anyway. Maybe not a brony, but a fan at least, maybe. At least, when I come across cartoonists/animators, they seem to be a fan of the show at least. I think he was mostly there because he did voices in the .MOV series, though.
  12. Man. All my quests now involve gems. Gems are so rare and I can't afford to buy some.

  13. Damn it! Why did I look at the youtube comments for the premiere episode! Just spoiled the ending for myself!

  14. I will be adding a few of here, assuming that's okay! I mean, I figure that's why we're all putting our usernames down here. Haha. Anyway, if anyone wants to add me, I'm OsakaBomb! Also, yeah, I don't know what the deal with the sale ones. Might have been an error on GameLoft's part? Either starting the sale too early or ending it too early, I don't know. I'm just glad I managed to get the 60% off DJ PON-3 before it ended! Haha.
  15. Agreed. Plus, I mean...Godzilla (or, well, Gojira, whichever you prefer) has such a deep connection to Japan's history. I mean, the later ones are fun and exciting, monsters fighting, yeah! But the first is actually kind of...dark and dreary, in a way. I mean, Godzilla basically came from the Japanese fear of the effects of the atomic bomb, because they didn't know what kind of long-term damage it would cause. In the first, Godzilla was...pretty much a threat. A kind of looming reminder of what was done to Japan at the end of the war, basically. That was just lost in the American version. There is no cultural relevance to Godzilla there, except for...well, on the global scale in terms of nuclear testing, but you know what I mean. Haha. And, yeah, that was kind of what inspired J.J. Abrams to make Cloverfield. We didn't have that sort of landmark American monster that was tied to heavily to our culture and/or history and what have you.
