    When deciding how to decorate the tree for Christmas this year, the answer was obvious! I hand painted the discs, and hand embroidered and sewed the ornaments. I themed them around the elements of harmony necklaces because it looked a bit more interesting than just having identical coloured gems. I'd love to know what you think!

    Stallion: Shining Armour Colt: Pipsqueak Mare: Luna, obviously. Though I'd be hard pressed to choose my second favourite as there are several I love. Filly: Sweetie Belle. I really like her mane!

    Pan- and demi-sexual here. (i.e. I can be attracted to a person regardless of their gender or biological sex, but I have to have strong romantic feelings towards them first).

    I haven't quite cried at the show yet (I'm surprised as I normally cry really easily!). I'm sure I will one of these days! But meantime, two moments stand out as very nearly making me burst into tears, both from magical mystery cure: I've Got To Find A Way always makes me well up. Seeing the mane six all so sad, oh my. There's a bit during Celestia's song where Twilight just looks SO touched and amazed, and wide eyed with wonder, that I start choking up every time. I'm not even that big of a Twilicorn supporter (I tend to lean the other way really), but at that moment she could have been replacing both Celestia and Luna (is best princess) and I wouldn't have cared.

    I love this post . I was just talking to my partner yesterday about how, for me personally, Applejack is the best role model on the show, being so loyal and loving and kind. She always tries to be reassuring to everypony, even when thing go wrong. In short I love Applejack and I love this list, thanks for sharing

    When I saw this thread, my first thought was "well I rather like Nickelback, that probably counts as unpopular!". Beyond that, I have no idea, I tend to be gloriously oblivious to what is or isn't popular opinion.

    Amazing first attempt! Her proportions look great, and her colours and design are gorgeous too. Her eye looks fine to me, she has a lovely expression.

    Things I'd like to see: Another Luna-centric episode (not one involving her being evil though!) A Celestia-centric episode, would love to see her get some character development The CMCs to get their cutie marks at last Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight to fly An explanation of Scootaloo's background Maybe a partial focus on some of the background ponies, not dedicated episodes, but just a bit more than one or two line cameos Another speaking role for Derpy The development of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash's sisterly relationship ... and I think that's it!

    I love tattoos, and I don't regret any of mine. I do get a lot of people asking me about how I'm going to feel when I'm older / if the tattoo stops having meaning, and I think my answer might be relevant to this thread. It's really unlikely that you're going to get a tattoo that will hold a really deep meaning for you forever. People grow and change, so how likely is it that you'll absolutely love the same things 40 years from now? I'm not saying it's impossible, just not that likely. So when I have a tattoo, I tend to ask myself if -remembering- how meaningful it was at the time will make it worthwhile. Take for example, the tattoo on my back. It's huge (covers my whole upper back), and it's about a novel I am no longer writing and a character I never think about now. BUT the memory of how much I loved working on that novel and the fact that it got me through a rough period in my life makes it a good memory, and it's a beautiful piece of artwork, so I'm happy to carry that memory with me permanently. So if MLP really means a lot to you / contributes to your life and you know you'll always treasure that even if your interest wanes one day, why not! You can always get something fairly subtle, like a cutie mark or silhouette if you don't want to have an all-out cartoon horse on you forever

    My best friend is also my spouse (Dreaming Pink3 here on the forums). I've known her just over 13 years. We became the best of friends very quickly, and it developed into being a couple rather fast too. I would definitely trust her with anything.

    Being out in the rain makes me happier than almost anything! Being out in nature generally actually, lending friends a hand, and of course watching MLP never fails to raise a smile.

    I think Fluttershy as she would be gentle and kind and a shoulder to cry on. If I needed actual advice about it, then Applejack as she seems like she would understand, but also have some practical advice to give.

    I don't drink alcohol (allergy), but I love me some tea! I have to drink decaff sadly, but the supermarket here does a decent tasting decaff. I drink it with soya milk. I occasionally drink a chicory coffee substitute which is really nice, nothing like coffee lol, but nice in its own right, and I also love redbush tea with soya milk. I don't really drink anything else apart from those three, except maybe a very occasional fruit tea.

    She's lovely. The proportions look great, and I really love her expression. Maybe you can't think of a cutie mark because she doesn't know what it is herself yet, lol!

    After my experiments with drawing and colouring I decided to have a go at airbrushing and I think it came out pretty ok for a first attempt! He's Snowball, a pale blue unicorn with longish pointy ears. The frame is from here and the nebula background is from here (both stock images).

I think I can probably narrow it down to four: The Smile Song - just such epic Pinkie Pie joy and happiness At The Gala - beautifully orchestrated and I love all the individual harmonies What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me - makes me laugh and go "awwwwwwwww" at the same time A True True Friend - really sweet and kind of sums up their closeness with each other It would be easier for me to list the songs I don't like, which would be none of them. I'm really surprised at how gorgeous and catchy all the music in the show is.

    I'm not sure if any of the following would work - your mileage may vary! But how about: Nicely designed engaging posters put up advertising your art. Finding ways to display it, like on a folder or even t-shirt, so if someone compliments you, you can tell them that you take commissions. Having a table at a convention, local craft fair or something similar where you can sell your work. Getting some business cards (you can get some really cheap ones) that you can use to make sure people know where to find you online. Like for an example, you could donate some art to a local raffle or something, and attach the card so people can look up the artist (you!) and see that you do commissions. I hope some of that gives you food for thought anyway.

    Personally, I like them. But more to the point, I can't see why I'd hate on someone wearing a hat they like, regardless of whether I think it suits them. People should express themselves and dress how they want - they're not dressing for other people. If wearing a fed makes them feel good, I say go for it! I wear a trilby all the time and I'm pretty sure by any fashionable standards I look terrible LOL being over 30 and shall we say comfortably built, but I <3 it so I wear it with pride . I wear a top hat in the winter, too.

    Hi, welcome to the forums. It's nice to meet you We can all be our own worst critics when it comes to our work I think! It's good to want to produce your best work, but it's also good to relax and enjoy creating, even if it's not perfect. Hope you enjoy the forums, everypony seems really friendly here.

    It's nice to meet you. Your post was just fine don't worry . Why not just have a look around and start off by replying to some of the threads that ask simple things like the best thing you can cook, or your favourite pony? Have a read and see how other people are replying. I think so long as you stay respectful and on topic you should be fine, everypony seems pretty friendly here! By the way, I relate to wanting to be more involved in the fandom, though I'm not interested in mastering the music element (though my partner, Dreaming Pink3 wants to get more into the music side).

    Because Luna! Or, to meet the character count, because I wanted a nice-looking picture of Luna (as if there is any other kind!) that came from a screencap, as I haven't done any art of her myself yet and I wasn't sure about the etiquette of using somepony else's art in my AV.

    I absolutely love the rain. To me, there's nothing better than standing out in the rain, looking at the countryside. The harder it rains the more likely I am to be walking along whooping with joy, dancing, and garnering strange looks from the locals!
