Also, for the record, the reason people got so mad at me was because I said something they took way out of context and started spinning silly assumptions because of it was taken out of context.

In any case, I've handled the situation accordingly, and it's all good in the neighborhood

Even though you may not expect something in return, it would have been the right thing to do... And i feel pretty bad about the fact that i did nothing.
