Exactly. Despite the fact that no one has come very close since Rose, I think DiMaggio's streak will be broken eventually. But Young's wins, Henderson's SBs, Rose's hits, and Ryan's Ks will likely stand forever. It's not just the way the game itself is played, it's the length of careers, the prevalence of injuries, the defensive and offensive switches that are so much more common nowadays...
