Name: Luminesca Race: Pegasus Position: (hero or villain, one of the classes above) Chosen one, or a main villain! Fate: I would like to live

(sorry I was away for so long, we had auditions for Into The Woods) She shivered. "Hopefully, a long time. It is tiring to keep it at bay without your spell." She thought a bit, and recalled something special about the necklace the spirit had wore. "I know how to tell the fakes apart, though. The necklace... it was red, but if you look closely enough you could see something light blue, like my eyes, glowing inside it, trapped within the rock. She must have imprisoned me, the real me, inside it... and when you fired at her, me..." She looked at Black heart. "You put a small crack. Part of me seeped out, and I regained control. But she's still alive, and she still has the rest of me. But I'm not strong enough to fight her without the rest," She said to everyone else.

She gestured to the duplicates of the necklace around her. "Apparently," She said sullenly. "But we'll probably know it's the one when we find it." They looked at her quizically, for more information. "You know, big scary voice, voodoo body controlling magic, creepy sensations, red fur... Yeah." She pawed (hooved, whatever) at the ground, emerging with a crystal on her hoof. "See, it looks like this. Only not this - Ah!" She could feel the spirit trying to get back at her again, fighting the edge of her mind, trying to break the barrier... but the spell Solstice had cast prevented it. It shrunk into her skull, driving away the spirit like a mental shield, and expanded outwards again, forming another halo. she dropped the crystal to the ground. "Yeah. I... i think I should sit down for a second."

Sweat covered her fur as she fought to gain control. The red vanished. She shook her head wildly, clearing her thoughts, noticing the black halo. "Ugh." She panted. Honestly, why did this particular spirit have to drain all her energy? Luminesca grabbed Solstice's hoof and straightened herself. "Thanks. Again." She smiled, but then her smile wavered. There was a lot of work ahead of them. "Let's get back to work, then, shall we?"She managed a weak grin, and spread her wings again.

Luminesca spread her wings and nodded, then flew off. She scanned the area and dove down, for she saw a glimmer of red. She gingerly pushed aside the charred grass and- "Dang it." It was an aluminum can. She didn't even know how it had gotten there and survived the explosion, but... Ugh, ponies these days. Then she felt a cold sensation, like a flow of icy water being dumped over her. She shivered uncontrollably, and she could hear a maniacal laughter in the back of her head... her eyesight flickered red, but she blinked and it went back to normal. The spirit wasn't all gone, or at least not gone yet. She closed her eyes and clutched her head in her hooves. "Get... Out..."She mumbled, trembling in the burnt greenery. She opened her eyes and gasped. The entire landscape was littered with red pendant necklaces. She groaned in exasperation.

She shivered. "I... I'm not sure. That spirit is strong. I couldn't get my arrow into it..." But she remembered something. The creature... it's necklace. Yes. Luminesca raised a hoof to her neck, where there was a tiny jar of stardust on a cord. The creature had turned exactly the same as Luminesca- except for the necklace. Instead, there was a pendant of the same crystal the spirit was from. "I think... the necklace. She has a necklace. If we manage to take it off somehow... she might be vulnerable!"

Luminesca looked around in surprise. Funny, a few seconds ago she was still in the Equinox. She guessed that was what happened when you jump over dimensions. She cleared her throat. "Yeah, um, so it's really hard to explain..." They looked at her expectantly. "It all goes back to when that crystal thing fell from the sky. I was... holding it." The memories came back to her, crashing down hard like a waterfall. "The crystal... it corrupted me. Something, I think it was the spirit of the crystal or something, came out and took me over... That's why I became red. Like the crystal." Unconciously, she glanced at her hooves, which were their normal color. "So... So I-I attacked. I tried to fight it, but... Well, you know what happened." Suddenly she felt guilty, as if it was her fault. "At the very last moment, when you aimed that thing at me, I split- the spirit taking my form outside of my body, and me... well, yeah, about to die. But I'm alive, and that's what happened." She looked around, and she could see many mixed emotions. She turned to Solstice and beamed. "Thanks for healing me, by the way," She said warmly. "I would've died without your help."

"GUYS!" Luminesca screamed. "Stop! You're all friends! Don't argue! Don't fight!" She knew she sounded like a mom, but this was all just... "It's this place. It's giving you the urge to fight, you can't fight, just resist it! Come on!" They all looked at her. She sighed. "Guys. Look. just... calm down. I know I just woke up, but..."

"Oh. Um." Awkward.................. Nope. Nope nope. Zalogified eyes sort of creeped her out. But she still knew... that it was Solstice. Solstice and nothing more, so she imagined his equestria form. Nice pony, good pony. Nice nice good nice nice nice. But it was really hard to think that way... this place had that kind of vibe. "I... really like your mane?"

"Uh..." True, the zalogified eyes sort of freaked her out. He looked like a demon. But she knew it was still just... Solstice. She forced the equestrian image of solstice in her mind. kind. nice. She managed to get the words out. "I... uh... really like your mane?" She said shyly.

Luminesca nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks to you." So he was general of Princess Eclipse's army? He must be talented. She had done some reading- only the greatest warriors joined that army, and the amount of talent and potential for him to be a general- she shivered slightly. Like he said, he was a killing machine. A nice one, though, She thought.

Luminesca watched them go through a portal, and jumped through as it started to close. She ran to catch up. "Hey." She said, taking in the surroundings. "Um... hi." Talk about akward, snce she had done all those horrible things to them, but it wasn't her fault. They stared at her expectantly, waiting for an explanation.

Luminesca woke up, confused. A bunch of energy had just burst from Kel's body. "Wha... I..." Angel was gone, that's all she knew. She got up, her energy was back. "Hey, guys, what happened?" She glanced at the destruction. "Kel... Black Heart.... Solstice... where's Angel? What happened? I'm not evil."

Luminesca looked around, confused. Everypony was attacking her? She was shooting at the bad guy. Yeah, the bad guy. "Hey, look up there, that's the bad guy! The demon!" She said. The red pony was still attacking. Nopony paid attention, they were too busy charging her. That's when she realized that she was the only one that could see her dark side. So that meant... oh no. THat meant they all still thought she was the attacker. Well, maybe except for Solstice. She turned back to normal now! Why?! THen she felt a sharp jab on her back, and a sucking vaccum sensation. She was being drained. "Kel! Stop!" She shouted desprately, trying to tug the cables out. they sparked with energy. "Stop! I'm... i'm the good guy! Guys, come on! I- see... over..." Again, she was starting to fade. So she fell over again, knocking Solstice (by accident) off her feet. That red pony could not be hit. But she could attack all the same. bad luck.

Yeah, it stings alright, Luminesca thought. She gritted her teeth. The woulnd closed and the blood stopped, but her vision was hazy. She tried to stand up, but her legs buckled and she had to lean against Dolstice for support. "Thanks," she said in a whisper, since that was all she could manage. She pulled a bow and quiver of arrows from under her wing. Maybe I can still fight, she thought. No such luck. She needed time. She needed... Agh. The evil her was still trying to destroy. The others were tryig to hold her off. She took out her bow and started to shoot, still leaning on Solstice, because she didn't have enough strength to hold herself up.

"Nnng." Her eyelids fluttered open, and she found herself staring into solstice's neck. She had woken up when somepony... Patted her on the head? "Wha-" she tried to get up, but a searing pain in her chest stopped her. The energy ball had left a gash in her flesh, and the blood was trickling off her sides. She knew if she didn't act fast, she would die from blood loss. Well, just one option left. "Solstice," she rasped to him. "Help."

"AGH!" Luminesca ripped free from Solstice, baring her teeth. SOMETHING WAS WRONG. But... Unleash the sparkflies. No. DO IT! "Get out of my head!" She screamed, clutching her face in her hooves. Yup, something was wrong. Everypony stared at her like she was crazy, which she was. Unleash the sparkflies. She fought, struggled against an invisible force. Then something completely unexpected happened- she split. Like, literally. Half of her turned her normal color and pulled away, reforming into another pony- her. the real Luminesca. Then the bad side, red, turned into a full pony as well. The spirit of the crystal. Well, at least Luminesca was back to normal and everything, but she felt weak. And Solstice was still grabbing her when the ball of energy and Black Heart's Acid was hurled at her, and the pain was unbearable. And she watched, with everypony else, as the red evil version of her flew off and started some more destruction. Her vision dimmed. She saw the evil Luminesca giving a high whistle, calling sparkflies, the base of all magic, to her aid, watching them all fly down in millions to attack her friends. "No..." Then she blacked out.

Luminesca stared at the remains of the death worm. "Fine, be that way," She snarled in a very un-luminesca like way. Time to resort to Plan B: POTION TIME!!! "Ugh." She pulled a potion out from under her wing and threw it at the group of ponies. Poison level 32. She dodged the beam a pony fired at her- Solstice, she thought. "YOU. SHALL. ALL. DIE. BY. MY. HOOVVEESS!!" She shrieked as she continuously fired random potions at the ponies, inflicting pain everywhere. (Evil magic made her stronger). HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! She laughed. And watched the chaos.

Luminesca emerged from the shadows. She usually kept to herself (which is why you guys never saw her before in this RP XD) but she heard... escape? Yes, she liked escapes. But how to help? She could shoot. She could make a brew. She could perform magic. And she knew a lot about magic properties anyways, having worked in... having murdered her boss... SHe didn't like to talk about it. So she approached the group and tapped a pony on the shoulder. WHat was the pony's name- Light? She had heard it before. "Um, excuse me, Uh, LIGHT, but I think I can help you with your escape."

Luminesca was confused. Her vision had been stained red. She looked down onto a lake and saw she had changed, changed into a horrible creature. Her irises were red. Suddenly she had a strange impulse again to kill everypony, to slaughter them, to stomp their remains into the earth where they belonged. No, not right, she thought to herself. But the bad side took over. She thrust out her hoof and grabbed a maggot, which had tried to drown itself in the lake. Green poison dripped from its many sharp fangs. "Hehe." She zipped up, leaving a tendrils of black smoke curling off her wings, into the sky. Everything was just so wrong, so weird, so hellish, she almost barfed. The blood on her cutie mark knife seemed to turn real, dripping off her flanks and joining the smoke behind her. She gazed down below her and laughed to herself, lowering down. There was Angel, walking through the Everfree forest, and what was that- Solstice? Oh, boy. This keeps getting better and better. She held the maggot out, letting it absorb the escence of the two ponies. Then she let go. "Time to make things a little more interesting." She heard the screams below and glided down. The maggot had caused commotion, alright. She hoped they died. Wait, this was wrong! They were her friends! Wha- Those kind thoughts were clouded over with dark mist, and her irises turned an even deeper and more fiery shade of red. Evil. She was evil. She was evil and she was proud of it. So instead of helping, she hovered over the ground, giving the maggot commands, as she watched her friends die.
