      I think the joke behind dash being gay is that she a rainbow and they always curve. Something to chew on. Also your head canon evoke fear within me. I prefer my one where shes actually a lab experiment by celestia private guard to make a super solder but they put her in normal society so she'll breed and enhance the pegasis population abilities.

      Think about it man. Shes the element of loyalty and gets uppity when people talk about the princess. Its because she was actually psychologically programmed in her fetus stage to be unflinchingly loyal and obedient to the hierarchy. But somehow they actually artificially found the formula to making the magical element of loyalty by doing so.
