      ...Fake? What, you don't drink blood already? I thought Ahuizotls were carnivores! Granted, the Earth-dimension ones are literal baby-drowners I think but that point is probably negotiable.

      Oh we are, but real blood gets gross when it sits out, and that’s just plain unhygienic. Besides I prefer my meat cooked.
