not turning my nose up as such, just not a UK brand so not familiar with it - and would need to try it and experiment a bit before I was happy... which might not be a bad thing to try, but what I have now works so may not be worth messing with it

Definitely don’t shy away from it if you’re strapped for time and cash. Adding milk and BOOM getting pancake batter is great.

What can I say? as a US import, it would be the expensive option here - but there ARE instant pancake mixes, usually shake-bottle stuff; dumplings are nicer with suet (unless you are a vegetarian of course) though
