Try using Octo balloons to send bombs in the air, and a korok leaf to push it a ways into an enemy camp!

OMG is that what Octo balloons do?? I hadn’t read the description yet, I thought they were just an elixir ingredient.

Also I found my first Lynel. He kicked my ASS. But I’ll get him back. XD

And I read up that trick on how to kill Guardians! Now I’m hunting the things down. XD

Yep. Octo balloons are my favorite item in the game! They can lift anything!

Nice! I have a great tip to hunting lynels!

If you have the barbarian armor, equip it, and drink a defense boosting elixir. If not, equip your best armor, and drink a damage boosting elixir.

Then, use your best weapon and bow. 

As for attacking, repeat bow headshots to stun the lynel, then mount it and mash the attack button. Once the lynel shakes you off, draw your bow in mid air and go ham in slow motion. 

If you have Urbosa's fury, use that too. It does tremendous damage and stuns the lynel. Don't forget to take advantage of your upgraded stasis rune, which you can get from the Hateno ancient tech lab. 

Also, master shield parrying. It is essential for deflecting the lynels' powerful attacks.
