    We’re pretty much on the same page then. I definitely don’t approve of EXPLODING at someone for a joke that seems mean-spirited. You can express your feelings calmly. If they care about you, they should definitely care when they’re overstepping your boundaries.

    Well to be fair, some people use the “just a joke” excuse in order to try and get away with abusing others or just being a garden variety jerk. It deflects the interpersonal consequences. Also “know your audience” is a key tenant of comedy for a reason. Not everything you say, even in jest, will be appreciated by everyone. When people makes jokes at the expense of autistic people in front of me, an autistic person, I tell them I don’t appreciate it. The only reason they thought it was okay was because I come off as a neurotypical person on the surface. “It’s just a prank, bro!” is a meme for a reason. Sometimes, you’re just not funny.

      My personal opinion on the paper Mario games:

      Paper Mario 64: Great start to the series and an awesome game

      Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door: The undisputed champion of the paper Mario series.

      Super Paper Mario: This game didn’t happen.

      Paper Mario: Sticker Star: This also didn’t happen

      Color Splash: Didn’t happen 

      I have not played origami king. I heard it goes back to its roots a bit there but I would have to see for myself.

    TEXAS Perfect! 10/10 Sleek, iconic, brilliant in is simplicity and lack of obnoxious details and clutter! Instantly recognizable, especially from a distance. Stop choking your flags with unnecessary detail. Only rivals are Arizona (lovely radiance on the star) and New Mexico (also instantly recognizable from a distance, with a daring focus on yellow). 9.5/10 for both! Alaska has a wonderful theme with its Big Dipper, but from a distance looks like a plain flat blue. Such a bummer. I love the Big Dipper constellation. 8/10.

    We had something sort of like that, but it was a shop class where we had to build wooden cars with containers for the egg to ride in. The car would be rolled down steeper and steeper inclines, and the longer it survived, the higher your grade went. At the very end the eggs that still lived were cracked open, and if their yolks were intact, you get extra credit points. I got the extra credit points.

    Hey, them breaking their promises doesn’t make me less full of reason. But yeah, the fact that they broke their promise about Twilight outliving her friends irritated me a bit. But like you said, that post was made years ago, with the information we had at the time. So with the current state of things, my conclusions/headcanons about alicorns are thus: I still believe Celestia and Luna are natural born alicorns from an actual former alicorn tribe. They said Flurry’s birth was unknown to Equestria, but who says the sisters are FROM Equestria? It was founded by the uni/pega/earth tribes. ALL alicorns are apparently immortal, even ascended. The alicorn status CAN be inherited. Natural failsafe so that alicorns will always exist perhaps? I still believe ALL races can ascend, and males can as well.

    Hey music peeps!

    I got my guitar early. Haven’t had time to take pictures yet, but I’ll be sure to do that.

    But I have a question!

    What would you recommend is the most important first step to learning how to play an instrument? Besides tuning it, because it definitely needs a tuning first.

      Guitar tablature can be a bit wordy to explain, haha. :darling:
      The numbers are the frets, the lines are the guitar strings
      Tablature is written "upside down" so that when you have the guitar in your hands and look down at it, the big "E String" is written at the bottom
      Numbers on top of each other are played/plucked/strummed at the same time
      I'm not a very good teacher. I learned to read tablature and learned guitar from that, so I'm pretty much like book-smart rather than people-smart in this area, lol :mlp_lie:

    I don't think I agree that Western civilization is inherently the best. Makes it sound like good philosophies and ideas are region locked. My own religion, Christianity, originated in the Middle East after all. But I agree with the sentiment you're trying to convey. Love my home, they USA. X3
