Though I've gotten curious. What goes through your mind when you see a regular member without an avatar by intention?

I just think of them as newbies who have yet to find an avatar. It also tends to conjure up images of trouble makers who only intend to troll, since that does happen too.

Well, over here it has more to do with doubting what my place really is here -- not to say that I'm leaving or anything like that. More like I should be more careful of what is it I'm trying to get from being part of the community. Too often that ends up in unhealthy attachments. That's kinda the whole idea of what I'm doing -- not get too attached or identified until I have a better understanding of what I'm doing. Things get ugly when they go wrong.
