This probably warrants a spoiler warning. We don't know yet. Looking over the episode titles that are confirmed real, it seems like there's two episodes with potentially heavy Applejack involvement. The first is Hearthbreakers, which was stated to feature the Apple Family at SDCC. The second is The Hooffields and McColts which is most likely based on feuding families, and you just know anything family related has lots of apple. Inb4 people start whining about the lack of Applejack solo episodes in favor of more family-centric ones. Not me, I look forward to anything with the Apples in it. Remember, Applejack had a lot of focus in season 4 (Bats, Pinkie Apple Pie, Somepony to Watch Over Me, Leap of Faith, and arguably even Simple Ways). It's not the end of the world if she gets a little bit less this season. I don't see a lot of Dash or Fluttershy episodes happening either.

I was just spitballing ideas out of my brain of course xD. And of course they're fans of Sunset too. Everyone loves Sunset. As for screen time, I was specifically referring to Sunset's pony form. We've seen lots of her as a human though. I agree wholeheartedly, but maybe we just need to give it more time. She really wasn't popular at all before Rainbow Rocks, so now that she's reformed and everyone loves her, she's gonna be a lot more marketable. Funko is just barely launching CMC figures, and it was only last year that they added Twilight, AJ, and Rarity. It's just a matter of time before they get around to Sunset. 4DE may eventual make a Sunset plush, but they're taking forever to finish their first wave, let alone ship the ones they've got. Build-A-Bear is still a possibility as well. Friendship Games is coming soon, and the fact that Sunny graces the DVD cover seems like a big step already. Baby steps. I'm sure she'll be making waves in the merch world soon enough. :3 Sunset Shimmer guitar edition under the spoilers!

88 pages everypony. Guess which fan club we just surpassed in activity level? Luna's! Look who made it into an official Jem and the Holograms comic. Who else wants a high-quality jumbo Sunny plushie like that one? I wonder if this is some kind of secret and subtle message to us? I mean, of all the ponies they could have used to blatantly advertise MLP, they chose Sunset - a pony that we've seen maybe a minute's worth of screen time of. Perhaps this is a way of saying that big things are in store for her in future appearances? Maybe they just chose her because she's become really popular and everyone wants more of her? Or maybe I'm just reading into things way too much and they just happened to pick the lead character from Rainbow Rocks as a cameo, as this is a comic about a rock band (though Dashie would've made sense too).

At the very beginning, I considered Rainbow Dash as the best pony, albeit for really shallow reasons. When I first started watching the show, it was back in the days of season 1, and I was still getting used to what seemed like a really "girly" series with a ton of cute characters. I usually gravitate towards characters that are slightly more on the tomboyish side, so it was easy to like Rainbow at first. But after I watched about half of the season and my first impressions had changed, I noticed all of the characters were really great in their own way, and that this wasn't a just another sappy, shallow little girl's show, and the more I got used to the show and grew to love it, the more I realized that it was Applejack, what with her country charms, willingness to get down and dirty, and her all-around strong and dependable nature that struck a chord with me whereas Rainbow's ego and immaturity quickly rendered her less relatable for me, so it wasn't long before AJ dethroned Dashie as best pony and never looked back. Although I've become rather enamored with Sunset Shimmer as of late, it's unlikely she'll ever edge out my dear AJ either. Apple pony is just too special to me. <3

I'm going to assume that much of the information you presented came from the comic books? I was unaware that Celestia deliberately tried to correct the mistakes made with Sunset through her new apprentice, Twilight, though it makes plenty of sense. There would still be a Friendship is Magic without Sunset Shimmer. She might have helped play an indirect role in the backstory of how the ponies came together, but even without Sunset, there would still be some other scenario in place instead. But I'm all for crediting Shimmer anyway, because she's a really great character who I think helped to give us a really neat backstory for our heroes, as well as reveal a fallible and not so perfect side to Princess Celestia. That, and Sunset's fall from grace and subsequent redemption arc are some of my favorite MLP stories thus far. She just makes everything better. Thinking about all of this has me wishing and hoping for some kind of appearance from Sunset in the season 5 finale, since it has to do with the cutie mark origins story. It just makes sense to me for some reason, but I'm not holding my breath.

If I may, I shall share one last penny of thoughts and then we can stop the revolving door of brohoofness. I am flattered that you would honor me by commending my dapper wit and astute taste in characters. But I dare say I am quite enamored with your vocabulary and way with words, my dear. And yes, sunbutt baconmane is best Humane Pone. <3 Topic-related, I'm not sure I'd want the Dazzlings to be redeemed. Maybe it's just me but I can't see Adagio going good for... anything. Sonata and Aria maybe, which is probably why Adagio is my least favorite. She seems the least redeeming of the lot. I could be wrong though, and I would be on board for a Dazzling redemption story in either the comics or a potential EQG TV series. I dig Aria's fashion sense too. Another reason she's my fave.

To be honest, I don't really want to see Discord unless it's just as a cameo. I like the guy. He's a great character and all, and I love John DeLancie's work, but I think Discord needs a rest. He's been getting quite a bit of screen time in Friendship is Magic as of late, and call me crazy all you like, but I prefer him in small doses. I'd far rather see Friendship Games focus on its major characters. There's a whole group of Shadowbolts that need fleshing out, as well as the new human Twilight, Sunset Shimmer, and the rest of the Humane Six. I'm all for the fanservice character cameos (we're getting Suri Polomare and Trenderhoof of all ponies) but keep the focus on the main characters.

Someone loves their Dazzlings. :comeatus: Meh, maybe cliche is putting it harsh, but they were pretty familiar villains. The competent and cruel leader, the adorable idiot, and the grumpy smart aleck. But like I said, I enjoyed them thoroughly - some of my favorite villains in the franchise. I would love to see them return, and I usually never say that about villains. And indeed, Aria is snarky. Sarcastic characters who have no use for anything are the best. <3 Treasure trove of adorableness? Now that's a fitting description for Sonata. It's impossible to hate her.
