  2. I already told you before, but I think you are the sweetest and most docile active member this forum has. Just seeing your adorable Eevee avatar and your game posts puts a smile on my face.
  3. Happy birthday, boss! ;D

We'll find a way to survive. Somehow. All we need is Hermione Granger, and a rocketship.

  5. Not much I want to say here other than I'm pulling for Twilight Sparkle and Rarity. I love Scootaloo and Spike too, but I think the inevitable battle between Purplesmart and Whitebeauty is going to be a showstopper, and I want to see it.
  6. The Leafeon Pinkeh x a certificate stating that you are the sweetest member on these forums!
  7. Technically, Meghan is correct. Leap of Faith is actually episode 21 in production order, but for whatever reason The Hub is airing episode 19: Trade Ya at a later date.
  8. @@Mirage X Dash, Hi there! Just so you know, we already had a thread regarding the MLP:FiM Gameloft game, so I merged your topic with it. In the future, please try to do a search to see if your topic idea already exists, as we typically don't like duplicate threads since they tend to clutter up the forum. Thanks!
  9. @, Hey there! Turns out we already had a general thread for discussing cars and driving, so I merged your topic with the already existing thread. If you would, please try to run a search to see if your topic idea might already exist. Thanks!
  10. @, So good to have you back doing your usual thing. TLP x Celestias Husband Because vengeance is mine.
  11. @, Howdy there! Speaking of the Applejack fan club, I went ahead and merged your thread with it since that seemed to be a much better fit. Normally when posting a thread, you'd want to make sure that it contains a lot of discussion value, and something like "Applejack is my new favorite pony!" is probably better suited as a blog post or a status update. Additionally, we have a favorite pony thread that you can post in. Just letting you know. That said, welcome to the Applejack pack! It's always great to meet new AJ fans and we're all glad to have you on our team! You can go hog wild posting all of the Applejack love you want to in this thread.
  12. @, Hey there, just letting you know that I merged your thread with an already existing topic about localized scouts since they were really similar. Thanks!
  13. Oh, Stella... it pains me to see you this disheartened. While Applejack does place tremendous value on the safety and well-being of her friends and family, she is just as much concerned about their happiness, and I think that's why she played it by ear for the time being. She saw that the tonic was giving her Granny newfound strength and greater joy than she had before taking the tonic (which was pointed out by the Flim Flam Brothers as well). After all, Granny Smith used to adore swimming, and she seemed to be doing just fine due to the placebo effect, making AJ that much more conflicted. The situation was a catch-22. And it wasn't as if Applejack did zilch about her Granny's security. She effectively tried to keep her Granny safe while also permitting her to swim. Whenever Granny Smith was swimming, Applejack continued to emphasize the importance of safety and expressed a lot of worry; rushing to her aid at least three times throughout the episode. That's typical Applejack at play here - fix everything with work and management. Not sure if I totally missed the point of your post or not, but I wanted to weigh in on those things. I can't really fault you for not liking the episode's predictability, as much I might think most MLP episodes, including some of the finest in the series, are usually laden with predictable scenarios. It's still a valid complaint. But to compare this episode to Rainbow Falls? Ouch.
  14. Top it with a little Rainbow Dash and Elsa to make it the perfect pie.
  15. Very heartfelt and sincere write-up on Applejack. I enjoyed this reading this. Like you, she has been a great source of inner strength and is very much a role model to me as well.
  16. The Derpy grudge is water under the bridge compared to how SOME AJ fans feel about Vinyl Scratch. :okiedokielokie: I don't actually hate Vinyl, but Derpy gets my vote here. While I didn't use to like her that well, sorry Batbrony, I have grown to like her a fair bit since The Last Roundup. She's my favorite background pony now, for whatever that's worth. Pinkie Pie vs Sweetie Belle is a tough call, but Pinkie Pie has grown on me like a weed this season. For the most part, I've been enjoying her character more than ever, and while I think Sweetie Belle is also great, I always opt for the Mane Six.
  17. So, a lot of the criticisms against Leap of Faith have to do with it being "predictable." To that I say: point me towards one episode of MLP that isn't predictable in some way.

I gotta agree with Aniwele on this one, with the exception of the last part (given he's voiced antagonists before, I believe) The only thing that caught me off guard about Pinkie Pride was the Pinkie inspiring Cheese part.

Besides, all of the key episodes are based on simple schemes. Actually, when it comes to not predictable episodes, the only one I can think about at the moment is Somepony To Watch Over Me. That chimera...

A Bird in the Hoof. Philomena burned up, turned into ashes and I was like, "WTF?" They completely caught me off guard in making her a phoenix.

  18. Apple Bloom beat Discord! All of my yes! This little filly went really under appreciated for such a long time. To see her beat the fan favorite villain of the series (and thus going farther than Sweetie and Scoots are likely to go) colors me very pleasantly surprised! She's had an outstanding season so this is very much warranted for the little filly. And Fluttershy beat Luna. As a not-so-huge fan of Luna, I am thrilled by the results of that match-up. The Mane Six always come first, and Yellowquiet is a wonderful character worthy of advancing to fight Apple Bloom in the next round. And here we have Applejack and Rainbow Dash duking it out with the princesses. I am pleased to see AJ's lead against Sunbutt is quite a substantial one, especially compared to Dashie who is almost struggling against the less popular Princess Cadence. Last year, Rainbow Dash's popularity around here was unheard of. She literally destroyed all of her opponents; completely destroying Twilight Sparkle in the finals. Now, it almost seems as if she's lost a bit of that thunder. I'm not saying AJ will win against Rainbow in the next round, but I am very hopeful that it will be one heck of a great match. Here's to the two Ashleigh Ball ponies stopping the princesses dead in their tracks and advancing to the next round for a wallop that I can't wait to see. You know what would be a great final match? Applejack vs Rarity: The battle of the underdogs of the Mane Six. I'm doubtful that it will come to that point, but one can hope. I do wish Twilight and Pinkie Pie good luck too. If AJ somehow gets past Dashie, she will do battle with Fluttershy, and that scares me only slightly.

  19. Hmm, looking at the poll options... Apple Family focus is never a bad thing for me. I would like to see an Applejack episode where she's completely isolated from her family for a change, but her kin is such a huge part of character that it'd be hard to imagine. I love all of the Apple Family characters anyway, and Apple Bloom, Granny, and Big Mac were all spectacular in this one. As for the lack of the Mane Six, it IS a bit odd considering they were all present in the previous key episodes. However, I'd rather them be absent if they can't contribute to the plot. Episodes like this one prove that Applejack is strong enough to stand on her own without the other five, much like Apple Family Reunion, which had a similar vibe. I was never the biggest fan of the Flim Flam Brothers, but they really weren't overplayed here like they were in SSCS6K. The Tonic song was pretty good at best, but I would say I enjoyed it more than the first Flim Flam song. I dunno, the Flim Flam songs just aren't my thing. I loved the journal entry/moral AJ learned here. She went out of her way to avoid the truth in order to keep Granny Smith happy, once again proving just how selfless she is, before eventually copping to the truth. Applejack FINALLY has an episode dedicated to her honesty, and I think it was played out very well. I felt the episode was well-paced too. I didn't find it "boring" per se, but it was definitely lighter on humor compared to Haber's other episodes. That said, I typically like episodes that are more tame in the comedy department anyway, and I was engaged strictly by the well done plot and Applejack's always-endearing character. So no complaints there either. Applejack's key being a coin is a bit disappointing only for the fact that it really has no sentimental value to AJ like the other keys may have had to their respective ponies. That, combined with the fact that Shill was a rather forgettable key giver, is probably my only complaint, albeit it's a minor one. Overall, a great final Applejack episode to top off her stellar season.
  20. Okay, so the Flim Flam Brothers song is not my favorite, but I do like it a fair bit. I just think it was maybe... long? Anywho, I am still stoked for a potential song, and if Applejack sings even one line, you know I'll love it. Less than four minutes. Here we go!!!
