    @@Its.Yara, Hello! I am just letting you know that I moved this thread from Sugarcube Corner to the Pony Merchandise subforum since this topic is about toys. Thanks. I gotta say, it's about darn time Funko got cracking on an AJ figure. My one complaint with these figures is that the cutie mark is only on one side of the pony. I understand that this might have been a thing in the past generations, but it's still baffling to see most of the current official toys and plush dolls come with only one cutie mark. Gripes aside, I like that Applejack has her hat, and she and Big Mac are looking quite nice. I will definitely be picking them up once they're released.

    I quite liked The Incredibles, so I am actually really glad that they are working on a sequel for it. Cars 3, on the other hand, I have no interest in. The first Cars left a lot to be desired, and while I haven't seen Cars 2, I haven't heard too many good things about it. Call me when they make a sequel to Ratatouille or Up. Those are my favorite Pixar movies to not receive a sequel yet. Then again, those two movies are prefect and don't need it.

    I'm somewhat ashamed and embarrassed, as well as downright fearful of Batbrony, to admit that I really detested Derpy back in the day. As an Applejack fan, it really irked me to see the fandom go so berserk over her minor speaking role in The Last Roundup. I could understand the hype surrounding that, sure, it was a moment that made an already perfect episode even more groundbreaking. What I couldn't relate to was the fandom's constant burying of Applejack after that episode aired. AJ was already starting to suffer from the oft-maligned background pony jokes for going so long without an episode, and after being "upstaged" and having her spotlight stolen from Derpy in this one, at least according to the fandom, I grew to really resent the little cross-eyed pegasus for those reasons. Fast forward to now, and time has healed those bitter and misdirected emotions. I got over that silly hatred and grew to like Derpy a lot. She is hooves down my favorite background pony.

    I was actually really sad to find out that she would not be returning in season 4 (I believe this was confirmed at last year's Comic Con?). At the very least, I would have settled for a cameo of her in Rarity Takes Manehattan. Would've made sense, no? That being said, she could always return next season. I really thought that Apple Family Reunion planted the seeds (pun intended) for a promising story for Babs and the Cutie Mark Crusaders in the future. I'm curious about Babs Seed's CMC branch in Manehattan, as well as the older sister that she mentioned in One Bad Apple, so a future Babs episode could revolve around either of those two. Babs has a really cute Bronx accent, a unique design (that looks like a rotten apple) and I think her character role as the "bad but in a good way" Crusader is an interesting concept. I'm all for a Babs return.

Sugarcube Corner is for all My Little Pony talk that doesn't directly pertain to the FiM TV show, so please try to make sure that you're posting topics in the correct subforum in the future. Thanks! As for me, I was always a very casual gamer at best, and more of a Nintendo person than anything else (though I have played PS2 and Xbox 360 games as well). I've always enjoyed the Game Boy, Nintendo 64, DS, Gamecube, and Wii consoles and games. I am not sure if there was ever one particular game out there that I ever really thrilled over or had to have. I can play most games and have fun with them on a casual level.

    I don't have any major gripes about the episode, but I guess it maybe wasn't as funny as most episodes usually are, but I don't mind having less comedy if the rest of the episode has enough substance to keep it from being downright boring, and I think this one certainly did. Also, this really didn't feel like a Pinkie Pie episode, at least not in the same way that Pinkie Apple Pie and Pinkie Pride did. She was always front and center and in the spotlight, but the conflict and lesson revolved more around her friends than Pinkie Pie herself. Although there was no journal entry, there was still a moral, so I have no complaints there. Last week's episode did not have a journal entry either, and several season 3 episodes did not feature letters to the Princess. So long as there's some kind of underlying moral to take from the episode, I don't think the letter/journal writing is a requirement.
