That means pursue something that you will enjoy, no matter the salary. Don't go off into a career and say "Im gonna be a doctor so i can make 200,000 a year", b/c the reality is many people who do that, don't last long. And I know, I have several careers I love, but in that field, I really wouldn't enjoy it. Choose wisely and don't let people say otherwise,

I love old things, and letters written during World War II are always interesting. My great-grandmother has all the letters her husband sent her while he was in the UK during WWII. He didn't actually see battle. He did dentistry. I do have an old friend (who is actually pretty much on his deathbed at the time) who served as a communications officer in the Navy during WWII. He served in the Pacific front in the fight against Japan. He always had the coolest stories to tell. He had plenty of near death experiences.

 

Anyway, I always found stories like this to be interesting, but all the stories I've heard are from Americans. It was neat to read a letter from someone on the other side.

what is the problem? this is war and history... the end is not sad.. is just what happened, which is sad yeah but still nothing i can do.. his son is the father of my father and i am still here so i guess it is not so sad... bilions of people died during ww2, my grand grand father is one of the many names

That is good, at least you do better than I did in the past..I would hold onto anger and gudges for ages, even a whole year, until I learnt it was petty and pathetic

i sued to vent my nager beating people i hated, that's why i joined the army, free anger management course, keeping anger inside is just pointless unles you use it, because if you keep it inside it is no more anger, it is rancor

It is okay to feel anger, it is only natural, but it does not do well to hold onto it, let it out in a constructive way, if you hold onto your anger, it will only destroy you. Trust me...I know from experience.

I just gotta say that last bit isn't true. Way way back in the olden days of the long-long-ago, this guy was tasked with making an English translation of the Christian Bible. He did the translation just fine, but when the book was printed, the letters in the word "no" had been flipped, making a certain Jesus quote read "Sin on more!" The man was summarily executed for his "blasphemy". This wasn't the first time a man was executed over a biblical typo. Before that unfortunate guy was a dude who forgot the word "not" in a rather inconvenient place, leading to a humorous "Thou shalt commit adultery". I ain't bashin' ya or anything, I just thought this was an excellent time for a humorous anecdote.

rofl.. i don't know.. i just installed a firefox plugin to hide it and replace with mine because it is just ugly loocking and imbarassing to open the site at univerisity whit it XD but i don't think there are hidden messages rofl XD

uh i love them, i usually let my bass guitar on my amp with the gain set up on the maximum level to hear the 50hz of the current and white noises, i find them relaxing
