just got this email from my commander XD To all the volunteers with paramedic specialization : between public events coverage and 118 (Italian 911) service we are facing one of the toughest weekends of the whole year because the upcoming event and the floods in the nearby zones. I ask you therefore an act of responsibility, knowing that the result of any sacrifice that you will made will be exclusively and directly for the benefit of our local committee of Red Cross : this evening , please contact the referents and make yourself available to cover the many rounds yet discovered. as I've got to say yesterday on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the operating station in Verona , our strength comes from the good will and sense of responsibility that volunteers like you put in the service on these issues and we are second to none in the province but probably also in the region and maybe in the hole nation. The time has come to give a further demonstration to them, now get out and save some lives I thank you all in advance for what you can do. The Commander in charge Riccardo

@@Sks_Burns, usually when i am in ambuylance service i have personal phone emergency/hospital phone car key home key ambulance key hospital keys wallet pocket stetoscope flashlight emergency knife safety belt cutter swiss knife tape band aids 2 black pens a red pen a marker plastified card with parameters for childrens plastified card with radio callsigns and codes my radio (vhf/uhf) a pair of sticks my zippo with the UNIFIL / Leonte Operation logo... i don't smoke anymore, just a memory from when i was in the army (i am italian) earset for the radio a piar of red, orange, green and blue sizes guedel Robin emergency scissor Gps tracker i think it is all when not in service, pretty much the usual stuff plus a multimeter and black insulating tape, you never know when hiking, i have a spare knife, some ropes and my harmonica @, ehi! knives are fucking usefull! jsut immagine to get into a crash with your car! tak! you are free from your safety belt! or you get a wide cut, just put the blade under fire and clean the wound, knives are bucking usefull.. you can't survive without one! plus living in Italy you may need to have the choiche
