Vista was oddly stable for me... It was running on a high end PC, so that might be a factor too. Windows 8 is alright once you tame it with third party stuff to make it act like 7. ME flopped so badly that microsoft didn't even bother releasing any updates to fix its problems.

@Daring no your MSI laptop is MSI hardware, it just runs Winblows 8.

yea windows 8 does kinda blow, but I had to tweak mine alot to get it like 7
