      That's how I feel about media in general. "The show gets good during the second season!", "The show start off slow but it gets good later" - If it takes that long to get interesting, I'm probably not going to care enough to slog through the bad parts initially.

      I did however used to feel the same way about Starlight as I do Sunset, but not anymore. She's a much better character than Sunset, and she has a lot of potential, and perhaps after I rewatch some episodes I'll appreciate her arc more

      I'm on a similar boat in that I don't like Sunset at all really (flat, stereotypical antagonist. Forced, uninspired protagonist), however I'm mostly lukewarm to Starlight. Starlight's character and general arc to me is similar to Sunset, except she has significantly more character development, and more fleshed out pursuits and reasons behind what she does and did

    Just drank gin for the first time. I must say, it's much better mixed than alone. I tried a sip of it by itself at first, and basically all I got was "I'm drinking a Christmas/Pine tree" (because the juniper). But then I mixed it with some 7up (sorry, didn't have tonic), around 40/60 gin/7up... It was good! But I think I'll stick to my whiskey after this.

      I've made little progress in the past few years. It feels like a constant cycle of perpetual repetition. I'm approaching 20, but still feel trapped in the past. I don't intend on moving across the country or doing something like that unprepared, but I do feel the imminence of aging & the need to move forward before my youth has passed

      A dream I had last night made me consider this question. The dream involved me moving to the otherside of the country. When I was younger, I would have considered this an impossibility, or something crazy. But as I age, something as dramatic as that feels more relatable.
