  7. Do you know if Mic the Microphone is going? I think he has a similar story and he hasn't been hesitant to talk about it in the past.

  9. "video games drawing and ponies" is probably one of the best descriptions of the fandom, so you'll fit in just fine. Welcome to the herd.
  10. That's all really awesome. Is the little game studio your day job or is it more of a hobby and you have another job? What kind of fiction do you write?

  12. I had seen a few mlpf.im links before, but never tried it until just receantly and thanks to you IB stands for International Baccalaureate. It's an internationally recognized curriculum that takes place during your last two years of high school. You are required to take two higher level classes in addition to standard level being one grade ahead. You are required to complete a number of community projects that could be considered creative active and service oriented, and over the course of the two years you have to write an Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge Essay, and a variety of internal assessment essays for English and history. The workload is nonstop and I often get only a few hours of sleep, but it all counts towards a diploma that is worth a whole year of college at most any college in the world. I've dabbled in c++ in the past, but didn't get very far before stopping and forgetting and later deciding I wanted to try again. The extent of my modding is through lua files for the source engine, but I much prefer to just work on textures and skins. TI-BASIC is a lot like normal basic with a few more specific features removed and a lot of calculator specific functions filling the command catalog. It has some restrictions, like to have timed sequences you have to do this getTime->L(list name) L(list name)(3)->L(list name)(4) L(list name)(3)-L(list name)(4)->L(list name)(5) then reload the above more frequently than one second so that when L(list name)(5) is equal to or greater than the number of seconds the timer is for that it skips to another line or executes another program as a dependency. Either that or you take advantage of the 15mhz processor and have it perform a large calculation, the problem then is that it won't be the same on all models and you can't do anything else at the same time. One of the great advantages of TI-BASIC though is that it runs on your calculator uncompiled so you can edit, execute, edit, execute and never need other hardware that the calculator itself.

  15. Hello all, I am S_E_F/SEF/SeEsFu and I've been here for over a week now so most of you should have seen me at least once. I live just outside of Poulsbo in the direction of Bainbridge Island on the peninsula that never shows up on US maps. I'm an IB student at a private high school, so I'm already used to losing all of my hard earn money to education. I love building and using computers, I love gaming and often make textures and skins for game modders http://mlpf.im/po Much to the dismay of my art teacher I spend a ton of time converting my sketches into more finished images in gimp http://mlpf.im/pp I also have a trusty TI-84 Plus calculator that I spend hours creating 96x64 1-bit images with http://mlpf.im/pq And sometimes I get into programming it, but I'm still new to TI-BASIC I aspire to be an audio engineer as much as I do to have a career computing and I hope to be the A/V director on this con Transportation isn't an issue, my only concern is finding some way to afford a room, hopefully not on my own Forgot to mention the basics: I'm male I'm 16 and will be 17 just before the con Rarity is best pony
