Hey there! I'm Fisher, one of the staff in the Theming department for BronyCAN, and I've got a small problem. Long story short, I've ended up with an extra 3-day pass for BronyCAN and I'm looking to sell it for $54 ($5 savings off the normal price). I believe the $59 credit could also be used to upgrade an existing registration to a higher tier, or if you wanted to buy pre-convention merchandise like T-shirts or plushies, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm planning as cosplaying as Discord for EFNW. However, in the middle of the planning stage I had a thought: Why don't I do something Discord-like with the cosplay? Say, cosplaying as Discord cosplaying as some Homestuck character? Cosplaying as a Homestuck character at a pony convention is something Discord would totally do. I've never cosplayed before, so I'd like to get the opinions of those more experienced in the art. What do you think? Is this a good idea?

April 4, 2011. My Little Fortress: Teamwork is Magic appears on HALOLZ. A young Internetizen known as ANS1 watches the video, enjoys it, and moves on. June 13, 2011. The netizen mentioned earlier encounters the Pinkie Sphere on Youtube. The word 'pony' summons memories of the earlier video. ANS1's curiosity is aroused. June 28, 2011. ANS1 has explored several forums and youtube videos, tracking down the source of pony. He finally arrives on his perceived goal: Equestria Daily. ANS1 begins his research. July 02, 2011. ANS1 declares his interest in the fandom, thereby becoming a Brony. ANS1 changes his name to a stupid name that he am now embarrassed by, that eventually becomes Fisherpon. Sometime in August Fisherpon realizes that he should probably actually watch the show so that he can understand the foundation of the fandom. Fisherpon watches all of Season 1 over a week, then begins eagerly awaiting Season Two.

Hello, fillies and gentlecolts! I joined this forum a week or two ago, but I refrained from actually participating because I missed out on the first ticket sale, and I actually wanted to make sure I was coming before I started making friends here. Thankfully, I was on the ball the second go-around, so I'll be able to make it! My name is Aaron Siebenga, and I am from Surrey, BC. However, online I am more well-known as Fisherpon. Those of you who are from the Tumblr sector of the fandom (Tumblrpon) may know me as one of the fellows who posts pony images, music, and news from around the ponynet. I have made many valued friends on tumblr, some of which I hope to meet in real life for the first time at this convention. If you know me from Tumblrpon or from Skype (where I use the same name as on Tumblrpon), please, let me know so that I know who to look out for! I will be bringing along a good friend of mine who, although he isn't a 'brony' yet per se, is open to the idea. Hopefully this experience will make his ponification flow a bit faster. I'm thinking of cosplaying at EFNW, but I haven't decided exactly who I want to cosplay as. I've narrowed it down to either Big Mac, Discord, or a genderswapped Photo Finish. Big Mac would be the easiest (given my build and complexion), Discord would be the funniest to be, and Photo Finish would allow me to take photographs. You see, I am also an amateur photographer, and I would like to get pictures of the cosplayers/voice actors/other interesting things at the con. However, being in cosplay would keep me from doing that... unless I cosplayed as a character known for being a photographer. I'm still not sure what sort of costume I could use for him, though. I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually. See you all at the con!
