I'm fine with Knighty and Poultron feeling frustrated at the constant methods some authors pull in order to cheat the 1,000-word count minimum story limit. But their overaggressive and vulgar responses to their frustration is completely unprofessional and over the line!
@Doctor: I think Knighty and Poultron should be severely called out for their attitude. I left one forum — the Sonic Stadium Message Board — specifically because most of the staff behave like vulgar jerks. I hope someone does the same to them.
I've got no problem with the rule personally, either, although I prefer to have the rule relaxed to 100 words (the length of a strict drabble). But, yeah, Knighty and Poultron are handling the pressures crappily.
