Just like praising, people criticize and critique the show because they give a damn about the product. If there are flaws, then it'd be a disservice to the people FIM speak to to not call out the issues.
I find the whole issue lays in the whole 'group think mentality' where anyone arguing against the group, regardless of their complaints is evil and must be declared as such.
