    At this point, there's only one NHL team that I see possibly relocating: the Arizona Coyotes. The Florida Panthers' situation is worse than I thought, but they have 30 years left on their arena lease.

      If the Panthers ever end up moving, QC would be the perfect choice. Thanks to the division realignment, it's unlikely the 'Yotes will move east, so they'll likely stay west. Seattle, Vegas (unlikely), Saskatoon, or Portland.

      1. Attendance. The ownership gave tickets practically for free because no one was coming. They stopped doing that, and their home opener was under 8,000 fans. (However, it looked like only 4-5K showed up.)

       

      2. No winning. Only four playoff appearances in 21 seasons.

       

      3. Poor location. It's in Sunrise, a suburb north of Miami.

      I doubt they would move to Vegas, there are no teams there except for that AAA ball team the 51s. I could imagine how intense their rivalry with Vancouver would be if they ended up in Seattle.
