    One more problem I have about the latest episode: It was way too mean-spirited. Trouble Shoes's comedy was laughed AT, and he never got a break. His whole life is a forced barrel of laughs. In short, the Western towns were responsible for creating the contrived "outlaw" reputation in the first place.

      Aye, it's why I'm viewing this as probably this season's worst episode. With Tanks for the Memories, at least it wanted to be a great episode and thus can be considered as such if you're willing to overlook it's flaws. Appeloosa's most wanted tried to be a safe episode and still failed because of many poor choices I thought were made.

      Yea it seems to suggest that Trouble Shoes is condemned to bad luck and being a rodeo clown is just how he can make the best of a bad situation. Doesn't set a good precedent or example for cutie marks and the magic.

      True, and it is mean spirited for him to have such a fate, especially as it was Appeloosa that caused all of the episode's problems for casting his klutz mannerisms as vandalism and even worse.
