    The Crystalling feels less like a M6 or Twilight episode and more like a Starlight episode. Anypony else feel the same?

      Yeah. The episode focused more on Starlight's plot, but I actually liked it. It's nice to have an opener focusing on a different character.

      Yeah and i am really okay with that. If you want to establish a new character as being important, you need to do that.

      It was between her and Sunburst. Sunburst felt a lot like Season 1 Twilight, which was very enjoyable to me. The Mane 6 were pretty much baggage and I like how Spike has moved into a role as a sort of Twilight surrogate when she's absent while keeping many of his childlike tendencies.
