    Fandoms aren't exclusive clubs or anti-criticism hive minds. They can't throw you out and don't make you leave. You make yourself leave. Fandoms don't owe anyone anything. To believe they do means you have no clue what a fandom is, and you come across as entitled.

      I haven't seen any of those three all the way through; keep meaning to watch FMA and FMA: Brotherhood, though. (Saw some of FMA years ago, but it was a Japanese-to-Chinese-to-English dub; not overly reliable.)

      I saw the FMA Japanese-to-American dub. Easily one of the best.

       

      Also, I watched many excellent plays/musicals that are appropriate for kids and the opposite. Billy Elliot's really good. School of Rock's good. One of the best I ever saw is The Seafarer (a black comedy play that briefly played on Broadway a few years ago).

      I've seen two plays in my life (not counting anything put on by high schoolers). One was an adaptation of The Telltale Heart and The Monkey's Paw, and the other was a musical about Roy Rogers' life.
